“This was our first visit to Jubilee Joe's, but it won't be our last. The food we ordered was amazing. The Etouffè was the best I have ever eaten, wonderful flavor and a nice kick of heat. We enjoyed it so much, we got some to go. The Seafood Gumbo was top notch. Again amazing flavor. The service was fantastic, as well. Friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.”

“Food was good. My husband really enjoyed the sushi with the exception of the 'white tuna'. Not sure that was actually tuna. My husband stated the texture was a little off so maybe it was the fake tuna, the escolar. But other than that, all the other fish he had was excellent. I had the steak bento box and I guess I should have expected this with the rise in beef prices, but it did seem like there was way too much broccoli hidden under the steak pieces. The vegetable tempura was perfect. The young man that waited on us was super nice and the service was excellent. I think my biggest complaint was how the staff started sweeping up around us as we were trying to finish our food. We arrived about 8 PM which was an hour before they are scheduled to close. They turned the televisions off and started cleaning and sweeping about 8:45. Yes, we were the last people there, and I realize they wanted to leave and get home to their families, but imagine trying to eat while people are stirring up dust all around you by sweeping. We were finished and out the door at about 8:55.”

“Last night my husband and I ate dinner at Firebirds. Our steaks were INCREDIBLE. They could compete with Fleming’s or Perry’s. Our service was excellent. I wish I remembered our servers name, she was quick and very kind (she had on a David Yurman cross pendant, young and light brown hair). I do recommend making a reservation if you’re going on a Friday/Saturday night. As we were leaving, we heard the hostess say it would be a 3 hour wait for the party that just arrived. Will be back!”

“My first time here. I used the drive thru and the wait was about 10 minutes. It was a reasonable wait considering how fresh my food tasted.
I ordered the chicken kabob entree and a spinach pie. The portions were generous and the chicken and vegetables full of flavor and cooked nicely. Even the rice was great. But the real star was the spinach pie. It was absolutely delicious and I can't wait until I can return to have another.
I'm so glad I finally stopped by and I will definitely be back.”

“Po Boys were perfect as they've always been. My wife was born in New Orleans and uses the shrimp po boy as a gauge for acceptability. Food and drinks were good.

That said, she went to the Ladies' room, and there was no soap or toilet paper.”

“We have always enjoyed Baha Burger. Due to medical issues, it’s been some time since we last ate there. The owner was always so courteous to us and eager for us try new things. He introduced me to the delicious remoulade that is a must for all things I order. However, our most recent experience made us feel differently. I know people have off days. We are all entitled to them….BUT…while we were eating, we overheard the owner yelling at the cook (he was standing directly behind us) about how many tater tots he put on my sons plate. He said it was too much for a child portion and went on and on about it. There were nine tater tots on his plate and he ate them all. My son overheard him yelling at the cook and asked me if he should give some of them back. That hurt my heart that my five year old felt guilty eating a meal that was set in front of him. I’m sure we will still give them our business because the food is amazing. I just hope the owner understands that sometimes things should be handled differently. Nine tater tots was not a true reason to have gotten so upset. Now if it had been ten….😜”

Great portions. Incredible value. Had sashimi, sushi rolls, rice, and soup. Five stars on every single item. Even the vegetables were incredibly fresh alongside the other food items mentioned. Nothing frozen. I will be back, and I will be back often. They even have an incredibly good little menu for kids. So glad to find traditional Japanese food and culture so close to home in Hoover and Bluff Park.”

“Love Clean Eatz. I stumbled across them on a Google search for healthy food establishments as I’m in the process of losing weight and they were one of the top choices to try. Since I tried them out, I have been coming back if I don’t bring a meal with me to work. Thus far have lost 20 pounds thanks to them and the great food they provide. Definitely recommend the chicken bacon ranch flatbread and the Mac n cheese. It is amazing!”

My husband and both of our friends all ordered the French Dip. They all liked it very much.
I ordered the Cranberry Pecan Salad and added grilled chicken. Their dressings are made in-house. Salad was delicious!

“This place is small little location. But the food is big and flavorful. My wife is from the Philippines, and it's one of her very favorite places to get Pho.

“Okay as someone who LOVES acai bowls and have had them at multiple different places in different cities, I must admit that Farm Bowl and Juice Company has the best and cutest açaí bowls I've ever had! I've been twice so far since the opening and it taste amazing, I wish I could afford to eat it every single day! I love the atmosphere as well. I normally go to other juice bars and açaí places in Tuscaloosa, but Farm Bowls is so much closer to my home. So between it being close to home, the best açaí bowls ever, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere, I am SOLD!”

“I would've loved to have shared a photo, but i ate it so fast, taking a photo of it was an after thought. I ordered this for lunch, which was a 17 minute drive from my office. The time I received to pick it up was for 15 minutes. And to my surprise, after a 5 minute drive, I received notification that my order was ready.
When I arrived, the parking was adequate and the people greeted me upon entrance. Even after the 15 minute drive back to my office, the food was delicious. I had the lemon rosemary chicken over rice and the apple havarti side salad. The chicken was moist and tender…and the salad was fresh and the flavors worked together perfectly. My only complaint is the google directions take you the wrong way once you get into the community. But that’s on Google, not on this establishment! I will definitely be back.

“I really like Milos and we eat at the Pelham store regularly. However yesterday was a disappointment. The tea was terrible, it taste soured, and I buy Milos tea at the grocery so I know how it should taste. When I returned it to the counter the employee stated others had complained about the taste, so why didn’t they make new tea? Also the burger with lettuce & tomato kept falling apart because the lettuce was a huge thick piece too large for the sandwich. The regular cheeseburger was thrown together also. I’m not sure what was going on yesterday but it was not a good experience.”

“We have been to Costa’s many many times and have always enjoyed the food. We had a big event coming up and Joe helped us out with all the catering questions we had. The food was ready when I arrived at the scheduled time to pick it up and it was hot and fresh. With a large order like this we were worried about something being left off but no everything and then some was in our order. If you’re ever in a position to need catering call Joe at Costa’s in Hoover and he will definitely take care of you.”

“For $12 I had 2 pupusas & 1 cheese empanada. This included salad (typically served with pupusas). I specifically had a cheese & a revuelta pupusa. They were good, but could have been more filled. There's a bit of a language barrier when ordering if you don't speak Spanish, prices are not listed, & they do not serve drinks. The outside seating area is nice, but the table is LONG overdue for a cleaning. 3.5 overall for my visit, but there may be other menu items that are better that I didn't try.”
