“Very slow service. You need speed, you stand in line at the drive thru for about 20 minutes to be able to get your hands on breakfast. There are occasions when people leave the line with nothing, people just spend their time smoking outside and the line of cars in the line“

This is easily in the top 5 coffee shops I’ve ever visited. Tim is a barista’s barista, pleasant to talk to, knows his craft and ready to share his excitement about coffee. The espresso was delicious, smooth, fragrant, sweet, not overly acidic or bitter. The other drinks celebrate the coffee without distracting from it, something I don’t see nearly as often as I’d like.

The shop itself is a welcoming space, lots of natural light, comfortable environment. Great vibe all the way around.

Prices are absolutely fair considering the quality of service and product I received. I’m absolutely coming back ASAP.“

“I was visiting town from Nashville for a concert, and always try a local coffee shop. The barista was fantastic and explained every option in detail. I loved the little cozy, middle-of-town setting in the small strip of restaurants. The coffee was fantastic (shout out to Honest Roasters in Nashville) and the ago toast hit the spot. The have plenty of seating and tables outside as well, to enjoy a coffee outside. Well done!“

“Lively! I am not from Birmingham but I am a coffee lover. From Orlando but, I wanted to see something new for a change from the normal city life. Noticed there were allot of coffee shops here than in any city I’ve been to which made it hard to decide on which one I liked to visit more but something about the atmosphere caught my attention. It was quite which made it easier to work. The environment even though it was quiet it felt inviting. The glass made allot of natural light come in and I loved being able to enjoy a good view while working. I definitely would come again even if it’s to relax. Unfortunate I’m not from here. Anyone who enjoys coffee I highly recommend to come here.“

“It’s a neat concept but I think the staff may still be working out some operational issues that’s not their fault. We went during a busy time and it came across a bit chaotic.

The staff was friendly trying to navigate the crowd, but the music was very loud (not chill and relaxing as expected) the tables are super close together and you have to order at the counter then try to find a seat, and then they wait on you at the table anyways. I understand it’s supposed to be a lounge but it’s really coming off as more of a busy restaurant but that could just be the new buzz of it. We’ll give it another go hopefully when it’s less crowded.

The food was excellent and we enjoyed our cappuccinos, they’re traditional cappuccinos which we appreciate. It’s very pretty inside and has a nice outdoor patio. I do recommend giving it a shot but try to lookout for less busy times. We want to come back for the live music as well. I definitely see the vision and appreciate the space in bham!“

“Lee’s is a fantastic addition to the downtown coffee scene! Their menu offers a variety of options, but the classics are good too. I like that you can customize a latte with tons of flavor and add on options. their secret menu is worth checking out too! This will be added to my regular list of places to go and get some work done because they have plenty of space and are open late which I really appreciate!“

“Service is inconsistent. I’ve encountered extremely kind baristas and some that could be more accommodating and friendly to customers. The baristas are key to me being a returning customer. Once I experience one person who is unkind, I don’t want to return.“

The menu never mentioned an additional charge for a biscuit, toast, or etc... I even told the brunette waitress that looked like a manager but she was probably the dishwasher. “My legal assistant and I went to check out the new find, "MeMe's Coffee and Deli," and we were not disappointed. We discovered a coffee shop serving food, karaoke, theme days like Taco Tuesdays, etc. We had our hands full already from our walk today and were not able to get much, but we ordered coffee and hot chocolate, and let me tell you, I am picky about my hot chocolate. I am hooked from the first sip of it. Plan on going there tomorrow for lunch.“
