“Very slow service. You need speed, you stand in line at the drive thru for about 20 minutes to be able to get your hands on breakfast. There are occasions when people leave the line with nothing, people just spend their time smoking outside and the line of cars in the line“

“Punchlove is one of my most favorite Birmingham coffee shops! They have incredible coffee, pastries, and non-coffee drinks! I especially love the sarcastic, seasonal menu. They have a lot of unique flavors and menu items–– I'm a big fan of the Punchies–– as well as a plethora of dairy-free drink options.

Great atmosphere with beautiful plants, and the owner is super knowledgeable about coffee. However, I wouldn't recommend this spot if you're planning to do work or focus. They don't offer wi-fi and have a no laptop policy on the weekends.

“The coffee and atmosphere is amazing. I could tell they were understaffed when I came, yet both of the staff members were the sweetest and kept apologizing for the wait on our açaí bowl. I got an iced oat milk latte with cinnamon and honey (The Roosevelt) and it was one of the best lattes I have ever had!!!!! However, our bowl we received was not very good. The base was completely frozen and we could not get through it. Additionally, the bananas were so unripe that they were crunchy and had no flavor to them. This has nothing to do with the staff working as they were both so sweet and kind and made sure me and my girlfriend were taken care of, but I feel as though the açaí bowl should have been better due to the price. I adore this location and the coffee, but I would probably not try any açaí bowls from them again.“

I loved everything about this place from the moment i walked in the door and upon cashing out and leaving...Great customer service they were very sweet and informational..i felt like i was talking to family!i am very serious when it comes to customer service,if i dont feel welcome i will leave and won't return! it was a nice simple menu (not overwhelming with 1,000 items)we ordered a iced caramelicous latte,a banana best smoothie and a banana nut blast meal replacement.Everything we ordered was Great!plus everything was AFFORDABLE!“

“I stopped by the location in Montgomery by chance a few weeks ago, and loved their coffee. Was so pleased to see we have our own location in Birmingham as well! I got the cold brew with macadamia milk, and it was great! The store is bright and airy, and the baristas are helpful, kind, and efficient. There is street parking nearby for visitors.

Vegetarian options: bagels, pastries, yogurt, dairy and nondairy milk.

“I liked the Mayan coffee and the stoic service. I don't know what happened to my hearing that day but I had the hardest time understanding the barista. She took it in stride and after my third fumble she started speaking with an accentuation that bordered on the theatrical and a smile that showed more empathy than frustration or sarcasm. I guess a white beard comes with benefits.“

“Despite the fact that when we went there they were short of a lot of food, the drinks were very good. I would advise you a hundred times to go and maintain local cafes like this rather than an old Starbucks on the corner. At Santos the coffees and matcha lattes are very good. Unlike Starbucks, you don't feel like you're drinking sugar, but a real drink (which is what I'm personally looking for).“

“I purchased the 20 Oz Americano with vanilla, Simple Syrup, and heavy whipping cream. It was pretty good. I didn't eat anything, but I noticed someone eating a sandwich, and it looked delicious.

I gave the Atmosphere a 3 star... the chairs are hard with this really long bench, and I would remove that and do the cushioned chairs that they have in place of that.“

“I love this restaurant. I am a flight attendant and was in town for a layover and I decided to get brunch because I was going through a really hard time. It was actually my mom‘s death anniversary and I was struggling. I ordered brunch and a carafe of mimosas to myself and Riley (staff) actually came to talk with me and I really needed that. The staff seem to care about their jobs and their customers. Even while dealing with difficult people they kept their composure and grace. I would definitely go back if I’m in Birmingham again.“

On Saturday the girl behind the counter was as sweet as she could be and very helpful. The girl today however was very rude, and acting like it was a bother to wait on me. “We just had the best breakfast EVER! It started with the excellent service from the greeting we received when we walked in the door to our fabulous waitress Brianna. It’s getting harder and harder to find good service but this place excels in this area. On top of the service the food is delicious. We had the French Toast stuffed with peaches which was Amazing and the Hot Chicken and French Toast Bites - FABULOUS!!! We highly recommend this restaurant. We will be repeat customers for sure!!!!“

“just now I was visiting the Birmingham Airport in Alabama and ordered 2 coffees from terminal C and I spilled one of my entire coffees right in front of the store. Quickly an employee sweet as can be came out and helped me clean up while the other employee remade my coffee for FREE without me asking!! The fried pork chop and egg breakfast is second to none. The western or meat lovers omelette is absolutely delicious! The French toast is not for the diabetic with its extremely flavorful cinnamon and powdered sugar topping. Another recommended breakfast choice is asking for grilled toast, you'll think me later!

“My first time to order a coffee at the "new" Starbucks inside the remodeled Target. Starbucks was moved over to what was once the small in-store snack/cafeteria and it also got a nice remodel,. I ordered a regular coffee and the server asked if I wanted a flavor with it so I asked for vanilla and the drink was great - I really liked it as I have found most "regular" coffees in Starbucks are too bitter for my taste and required me to add much cream. This new Starbucks is nice, clean and lighting is great.“
