“I’m not a coffee drinker. But a local chef(shout out to Whitney Simone!) I follow and patronize raved about Rochelle’s grit bowl, so I decided to try breakfast here. I wished that it was advertised that breakfast was sold here because I always thought this place was just a coffee spot. Anyway, I was sooooo impressed with the cuteness of the decor inside. It felt very cozy and intimate. Soft music played in the background. I love the branding on the cups and other merchandise for purchase. Upon entering, my friend and I were greeted warmly. We placed our orders and found a place to sit. The seats were comfy and a bright red that matched the theme of it also being a lounge. There was a little free library where you could take home a free book. There were several small tvs available to watch. Our food came out after a short wait. Yall….my grit bowl was absolutely splendid! The grits were creamy and perfect- not too thick, not too thin. The meats were delicious as were the eggs. My friend enjoyed his pancakes but also wanted to try the grit bowl after hearing me rave about mine. After he devoured his, he agreed that it was just as good as I told him it was. My peach smoothie came in this cute little sealed cup with the branding on it. I love a business that doesn’t skip on the branding! I enjoyed my experience here 100% and I’m even thinking of returning tomorrow morning for breakfast! One thing I would improve: I hope the owners consider advertising that they sell breakfast as well. Folks like me that may not be coffee drinkers but who love breakfast will gladly patronize the business…if we know they sell more than coffee. Overall, this place earned my 5 stars.“

“I liked the Mayan coffee and the stoic service. I don't know what happened to my hearing that day but I had the hardest time understanding the barista. She took it in stride and after my third fumble she started speaking with an accentuation that bordered on the theatrical and a smile that showed more empathy than frustration or sarcasm. I guess a white beard comes with benefits.“

Noticed there were allot of coffee shops here than in any city I’ve been to which made it hard to decide on which one I liked to visit more but something about the atmosphere caught my attention. It was quite which made it easier to work. The environment even though it was quiet it felt inviting. The glass made allot of natural light come in and I loved being able to enjoy a good view while working. I definitely would come again even if it’s to relax. Unfortunate I’m not from here. My son is gluten free and we were excited to try the gluten free French toast, but unfortunately we did not get to experience it because they said they could not do it even though it says it on the menu. I had been in here once before, a few years ago, and they were still developing their style as a coffee place, but they've definitely found their niche, and it is amazing! Their flavor add-ons are inventive - the barista suggested their Herbalicious, a blend of lavender, rosemary, mint, and thyme, with vanilla syrup, and it was such a soft, delicate flavor that was sweet, herbal, and delicious, and truly shone through in a creamy oat milk latte, which I did not expect. I tried a couple of their bonbons, and they are well worth the price; the sea salt caramel was gooey, salty, and sweet, while the strawberry lemon is a revelation of flavor. It's an added bonus that the coffee and the other ingredients are sustainably sourced and dietary restriction friendly, the atmosphere and character of the entire place are eclectic and creative, and the baristas were so patient and helpful. Truly, a must-see place for anyone wanting a unique and beautiful experience in the Magic City!“

“I absolutely love this place! literally, this place is absolutely phenomenal. there's two separate bartenders that are there on any given morning... both these girls are absolutely fantastic. both of them are really really pretty and they've got amazing attitudes, they've always got a smile on their face and what's amazing is, you can walk in on a Monday morning like this morning, knowing it's Monday and it's overcast and those two girls were laughing and cutting up and smiling and it just put you in a really really really amazing mood to start your day. I'm of the belief that if we can be around people that can brighten our day, then we definitely should. these girls start my morning off on a positive foot. I don't feel like a customer, honestly I try to bring them either energy drinks or donuts and then eat the world's greatest biscuits and gravy, that gravy is absolutely amazing, and there's always a smile on their face, it's always an amazing time and I look forward to each time I come which is about 3 or 4 days a week. the stores always really clean, and it smells amazing. the restrooms are always in great condition, sitting at the bars amazing, there's never food left around or sitting around, they're quick to clean up the tables, these girls really run the show, and everybody else in the background does an amazing job too. really thankful for this place, and I'm really glad that I get to be a part of the BBB family! “I always have a great experience here! Particularly, another customer accidentally took my order from the pick up area, and after I explained the situation to the employee, they were quick to make it right and apologize, even when it was not their fault.

“I recently had gastric sleeve surgery and have had a terrible time trying to find stuff to drink that is calorie free and no artificial sweeteners. A friend suggested that I try the tropical tea. I did and I was hooked!! Their customer service is amazing and when my order was put on back order, they were so friendly and did everything they could to get my order pushed through.“
