She was working by herself Wednesday night, but still managed to provide me with excellent service and the best Subway sandwich I've ever had, all while preparing the veggies for morning shift as well. And the equipment was very clean, you could tell she knew how to do her job well and took pride in her work. She is the example of what a Subway employee should be and deserves the utmost recognition for her service which goes above and beyond.“

“Lately, I've been discovering more places that sell fast food sandwiches, you've got Subway or Quiznos, Jimmy John's, and of course Firehouse Subs. This place is a special place because of the tradition that goes on around here. The theme is it depicts a firefighter doing his/her duties. Hence the name firehouse, I wouldn't be surprised if fire fighters come here to eat all the time.

Food: I got the Cajun chicken and the Italian sub, these are both phenomenal very rich tasting. And almost like, they put effort into making the sandwich. The price is actually affordable. I have posted pictures of the menu if you were to look.

Atmosphere: Like I said, it feels like you're a fire fighter when you eat here, it almost feels like home like you're safe. It wasn't too busy when I was here. If you buy something at firehouse subs, you can contribute to first responders.

Service: Obviously I wouldn't be skipping this, but the service was amazing. They make your food right every time piping hot. Always quick and efficient. No missing ingredients.“

“Welcome to Subway in Calera, Alabama! This is a local sandwich shop that you can visit to make your own sandwich, their ingredients, your masterpiece.

Food: Need I say more? You can literally create your own sandwich with their own ingredients. Personally, I've always gone, the Italian B.M.T ( might be a different name now).

Service: It's subway, so the service isn't spectacular but it's not that bad, you get your food in and go out feeling all full, at least you hope, there wasn't no customers when I was at this location so maybe I just went in at a good time.

Atmosphere: The interior has definitely changed over the years and is pretty bland to me now, Subway needs to change up some things like a Freestyle coke machine (this location doesn't have it) , where you can pick up to a variety of different drinks and add flavors to them (cherry, grape, etc.)

Overall, not bad but anything special, visit at your own convenience. If you have Subway coupons, they are a must as they save you a lil on money, it helps in the long run! 😎“

“Love the food, however, on multiple occasions when I get a quick chick on my lunch break I’m only given 4 packs of crackers and I’m not sure how I’m supposed to be satisfied with that as a meal, so the rest of work I’m just starving. “My family and I like to go here quite often. It is near and clean and I love how they can close the glass cases on the food especially during this time while COVID, the flu and RSV are running rampant! My fíance and I have discovered the pizzas that we put extra marinara sauce on, then pepperoni, cappicoli (spiced ham), tomatoes, black olives and anything else then top it with mozzarella and parmesan cheese toast it and wha-la!!! It's an excellent personal pan pizza!!¡! They have salami too!!! Try it but be warned, they have a bunch of great looking new sandwiches too!!!! Really good Subway and please tip the workers in that on the counter!! They aren't allowed to write tip jar on it for some reason but that's what it is!!!“

“Every time I go to the subway, I am greeted by name, and every employee E. is so nice the food is always delicious and it’s always a pleasant experience. if I’ve been having a bad day I go eat Subway for lunch just so I can have a good smile put on my face because everybody is so nice that works there. “Today was my first visit to this location and Robert did an excellent job of taking care of my Subclub order, he was very friendly not just to me but every customer that came in while I was there. I highly recommend this location, the food was great, the dining area was exceptionally clean I will certainly be a regular customer when passing through here.“

I called and I was told that I could come back by for two pieces of bacon, but I was already home. I was hoping that the manager would've offered a better resolution, such as a credit or something that could be applied towards a future visit.“

But lately, they have been messing up every single one of our orders. Over a span of several months. “Honestly, I had a nightmare with DoorDash and my food getting mishandled, but the store handled it awesomely. I didn’t catch the guy at the counter’s name, but he helped me and my husband above and beyond our expectations. They were awesome. We were there 8/30/2025 at 2:10pm.“

“I got a soft spot for subway, and this location is closest to where I live. It really is a bummer most subways are fairly empty these days, but for what it is I dig it.
The workers are polite and as with most subways it is best to go in past 10am and before 9pm.
With that rule in mind you will find the better produce during that time.

Overall the service is good and I have no complaints other than the emptiness of the store which is all Subways these days.“

“This location is much better than most Subways in town. The staff seems to turn over less often which means they have veterans that can make sandwiches quickly. Other Subways in town are painfully slow. This one is much better. I only take off 1 star because the meats are cut so thin (at all Subways).“
