“If you decide to come here, which I hope this review helps do, you are in for a treat. The hostess was a little wonky. But other than that. EVERYTHING was perfect. Starting with the service. The server was the bartender too from what I could tell. She was extremely kind, friendly, and personable. Recommended a special to my girlfriend that wasn’t on the menu or written on the daily special. It was phenomenal. It was named after their sponsor or partner on the bottom left of the menu, if you’re interested. I ordered the nigiri sampler and it was the best sushi I’ve ever had. In my life. We also had the truffle fries for an appetizer. WOW. Wish it was possible to be served with something other than ketchup on the side but nonetheless it was DIVINE. Lastly the cocktail I ordered, the “Cucumber Collins” was, no exaggeration, the best cocktail I’ve ever had. Homemade cucumber syrup. Not too sweet, not to earthy from the cucumber. If you go anytime, keep in mind they take reservations. Not always necessary during the week but they encourage it.“

“The shrimp Yaki Soba was very goodThe shrimp were better than average which is better than you think because most aren't. It was all fresh and the dipping sauce improved the meal. I don't really like Miso Soup but there's was as good as any. Once you accept the plastic serving bowls and flimsy plastic utensils it was fine. Oh the Japanese orange drink was excellent, not too much sugar.“

“We had the best dinner we’ve had in a long time so good in fact we came both nights we were in town. The BEST shrimp I’ve ever had in my life…and I’m from Louisiana so that’s saying something. Get the reds y’all! Kandy was so personable and had some great recommendations for activities in town, as a person in the industry it’s so nice to have great service. I seriously can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back.“

“I had the garbage burger and it was delicious. Of course it's huge, So I brought more than half of it home. My friend had the oyster poboy and it was loaded and they were beautiful. She said it was really good and took home half. I felt like it was up to the fish river Grill reputation.“

“Our family of 6 ate unlimited breakfast for $52 before tip, and that included drinks. Everything was excellent. I especially enjoyed the cheesy grits and French toast sticks, but there wasn't a bad item on the buffet. Quick, friendly, efficient, and we are back on the road with full bellies. Highly recommend!“
“The grouper piccata is a must try. The best meal I have had in some time. This may be the friendliest place I have ever been, the staff is beyond hospitable . It felt like we were guests in their homes. Salads and shrimp app were perfect and bourbon selection was excellent. We will return!!!!!“

“My wife and I had dinner here tonight and had a great meal. My wife chose the Double Combo Basket containing catfish and shrimp while I had their Shrimp-Oyster Basket. Both of our meals were perfectly cooked. We highly recommend eating here.“

“Busy little place because the food is fantastic. Lots of options. The Texas blt was very good with perfectly cooked bacon, except for the faintly pink tomato, the Philly was excellent, as well as the onion rings. I haven't had the seafood here yet, but I will. Everything looked delicious. Service was pretty quick. A suggestion - they should drive a couple miles to Loxley farm market for the tomatoes.“

“Great mom and pop cafe. Very, very good Cajun food. The wait staff is very good at what they do, they are good with small talk and same to be smiling ever time you look their way. The owner/head cook is often seen walking from table to table talking-to his customer about his part of LA that he grew up in.“
