“It's inside the gas station store. I'm not sure if it's always understaffed or if it's because we went late, which is around 9.30 pm. There was only one person serving, so the line was a bit slow. But the food is as good as any subway place. The person was very nice to talk to and with a nice smile on his face.“

I’ve had such horrible experience at other restaurants recently and it’s motivated me to stop eating out. But Paulo handled each customer with patience and excellent customer service! “In the 8 years that Fred and me have been together, I have never seen that man get teary eyed......BUT today was the day!! He went out to get us some lunch from Subway here in Avondale, Az. young kid working behind the counter help him with his order. After Fred had ordered want he wanted this very young kid turned around to Fred and said "YOUR LUNCH SIR TODAY IS ON ME" and thanked him for his service. Now Fred totally lost it, it's like he says, this young kid has probably just send a good part of his day's earning on paying for Fred's lunch and he wasn't going to insult him by refusing him. In this younger generation that is all about "ME" it's nice to know that there are still parents out there raising kids with knowledge, honor, respect and manners. A big THANK YOU to the parents but a especially a BIG THANK YOU TO THAT YOUNG MAN!!“
