“First time there. Restaurant was very nice and clean. Our waiter was awesome, the atmosphere was very pleasant and a nice family place. Food overall was mid. I ordered eggs benedict - the whites on my egg were so runny/raw, instead of ham steak they used sliced ham which wasn't even fried it was cold on top of the english muffin, the sauce was good but overall the best part of the meal was the potatoes which were warm and good., the eggs/ham were room temp if even that. My daughter took me for brunch she likes the place, I wanted to go to a diner, she chose there - I am not a fan. Presentation of the food was nice, but i like my food warm/hot that plate felt like it was sitting there before i was served.“

The staff was so friendly and for being young people they were so focused and working hard while providing friendly service! We brought my father and mother in law to celebrate Fathers day. We ordered the steak nachos (OMGGG highly recommend), birria tacos, a mix of steak tacos and the Baja Shrimp tacos. My fav was definitely the crispy shrimp taco!!! Try it with the spicy habenaro salsa but beware-- its spicy! Everytime I come here for take out or dine in theres usually a good amount of customers here and the vibe and music is always on point! I love Rustys and will continue to come here as the food is always AMAZING! “From the moment we were seated, the service at Black Bear Diner in Gilbert exceeded expectations; and that was largely thanks to our server, Chase (Aiden). Despite managing a full section, he never made us feel rushed or overlooked. Quite the opposite—he took the time to make us feel genuinely welcome and at home. Chase was not only attentive but also clearly knowledgeable about the menu and options. He carried himself with a confidence that showed he takes pride in his work and truly cares about each guest’s experience. Watching him interact with other tables, it was obvious we weren’t the only ones who appreciated his excellent service—everyone seemed to enjoy his energy. As for the food: no complaints whatsoever. Both of our meals were hot, fresh, and delicious. Great portions, great flavors, and served exactly as ordered. All around, it was a great experience. If you’re heading to this location, I highly recommend asking for Chase, he’s a standout and made our visit even better.“

“Came here for my sisters birthday and we were surprised! It doesn’t look like much, but the sushi was amazing! Portions were excellent and prices were great for what you get! The owner was kind and let us try the Japanese soda bottles which were fun and new to us. Just opening the bottles was a good time! Would definitely recommend this food. We had 3 orders of different sushi, a large plate of chicken teriyaki and salmon Kama. All were excellent.“

“We loved the drinks and the decor. The food was good too. We had the BLT and the Johnny Utah and they came with fries. I got a painkiller and it definitely reminded me of the islands - having just visited them back in January and getting painkillers from the source.

The only reason our visit didn't feel 5 stars was because the waitress took my food order before we ordered drinks nor was my gf ready to order quite yet.

So while my girlfriend was deciding and ready to order, I received my food and asked the runner to let our waitress know she was ready for food and we were ready for drinks.

Luckil, her food didn't take long so I got to enjoy a hot meal with her instead of eating mine separately.

Other than that, great place and definitely will be back.“

“I have been here many times for the number 1 or 2 and I mean you just can't beat the pizza here or any Venezia's that I have been too. One thing I enjoy about this particular location is while the flow of customers is steady it has not been overwhelming busy the times I have been here. I have even let them know that the flavoring was absent in one of their machines and they had someone change it out immediately. Was just nice to see they were right on top of it.“
