“As soon as I walked in the door I knew we landed at the right place. Old school family style authentic vibe. ALL of the staff are amazing. Welcoming, personable and great service (I have worked in hospitality the last 6 years). We were there for our anniversary and the waiter came out to serenade us! Our bartender stepped out as we were leaving to say good bye. The food was delicious! Bread, anti-pasto, all the entrees our party ordered all to perfection. 6 top and all the food was hot, pasta cooked perfectly. Truly the best. Wish I we had this place back home. Every time I return here I grab the best slice of pizza ever! Also excellent homemade lean sausage, great selection of italian groceries and homemade bread and desserts! Get there early since they run out of bread and pizza. They usually have 3 kinds of pizza. I miss coming here! 5 stars all around!“

The homemade foccacia is crispy and fluffy all at the same time. The tomato butter is a unique touch. I had the seabass with the potato and zuccini crust....delicious!!! The beurre blanc and chimi churri sauces were a perfect accompaniment. My husband had the oxtail papparadelle which was so tender and full of flavor. Pasta was perfectly al dente. Also had the truffle polenta which I could eat all day long. Finished off with the chocolate surprise which was delightful!!! Super creative and fun drinks...that are also delicious. Service was SPECTACULAR!!! Carter took excellent care of us! He was very knowledgeable on the menu and gave very thoughtful recommendations. He was professional, friendly, and attentive and really added such a good vibe to the overall experience. Also had the pleasure of conversing with Angelo, the assistant manager...really nice guy who takes a lot of pride in the restaurant. This deli is a lovely little gem tucked away in North Phoenix. The space is spotless, and it’s clear they use only top-quality ingredients. Service was quick, and the staff were warm and welcoming. They even had the weekend’s PGA final playing on the TV, which added a nice touch to the atmosphere.

I ordered a small meatball sandwich and a drink, and I was genuinely impressed by both the taste and the value. To my surprise, the meal also came with a small bag of Lay’s potato chips and a fantastic pickle — seriously, one of the best I’ve had!

I’m thrilled to have found this spot so close to my new apartment. It’s definitely going to be a regular stop for me. Highly recommended — I’ll 100% be back!“

“Food and service were wonderful. The patio was great, pretty and comfortable seating. The restaurant was especially accommodating. Our youngest son 5yo has epilepsy and is treated with the ketogenic diet. We couldn’t find enough items on the menu that he could eat, so they went to the grocery store to get different food to add to his specially grilled chicken. They plated it and served it with everyone’s food. I mean seriously?! Talk about service! So kind. Thank you!“

She was so sweet and she was on top of everything. She had four or five tables of at least four or five people in each. She didn’t miss a beat. We drove all the way from Gilbert to meet my family for a late lunch. She made it so good . The food was wonderful. Dessert is always great!
The bonus was when you get an opportunity to go for a late lunch at 2:30 3 o’clock in the afternoon. The atmosphere is much nicer. It’s not loud and crowded. It made for a wonderful time for my family to get together and our Sweet waitress made it all the more wonderful for us.

“We met another couple at North and didn’t know what to expect. We walked in and the hostesses were very friendly. They accommodated the fact that my husband has hearing aids so they put us at a corner booth. The food was absolutely ridiculous and we just had a great time. I would recommend north to anyone that would want to have a great upscale experience with a down town vibe.“

My best friend and I, as well as my parents, went tonight and had the absolute best service. The food, oh my goodness the food. We did a family style order where we ordered 5 entrees and got to try a little bit of it all. Best decision made. Continuous palette happiness. There is not a single item that was over or under cooked. The meatballs and gnocchi were perfect in texture and flavor. And the mozzarella caprese and Cesar salad are a do not miss when you go. And it seems the expresso martini was a hit with the other two women. All in all we will absolutely be back the next time we are in town, which is in just a few months.“
