Bread, anti-pasto, all the entrees our party ordered all to perfection. 6 top and all the food was hot, pasta cooked perfectly. Truly the best. Wish I we had this place back home. My only disappointment was when it came time to pay we were charged an extra 4% on top of our bill because we paid with a card and I feel like that is something that should be noted ahead of time. It was our first time there so it caught us off guard. ESPECIALLY since I was charged extra to tip 😬 Everything about this establishment is wonderful, they just need to change whoever it is they are doing business with to process their card transactions.“

“Fiancé and I came here for our 20th anniversary dinner and we absolutely loved it, part of any restaurant experience has to do with the server and our was Tim I believe who was wonderful. Food was fantastic, they have live music and it's a small intimate setting which is perfect for a couples only experience. It was also raining and they have a patio where you can see and enjoy the outside in more accommodating weather but I would 100% recommend going. Prices are fairly moderate, definitely not cheap but also definitely not too expensive. We had Italian, lasagna and ckn marsala so you should expect to pay close to $50 per person and considering the level of service we received it was worth every penny. Again, just a great overall experience.“

“Niccolli's is tucked into a small shopping plaza on 16th street. I have been twice now, once for lunch (shared a very delicious meatball sub) and once to purchase some authentic Italian items for a recipe. The owner is an engaging man, always ready to share his knowledge. When I went to purchase the items I needed for my recipe, he talked me through how his product shared all but one ingredient listed in my recipe, and what I needed to add to make it perfect. I appreciated that he took the time, especially since it was lunchtime and busy in there! The shop has a wall of items for purchase as well, and, special gluten free pasta! I will be back for sure and can highly recommend Niccolli's!“

I'm Italian and part of our culture is pressing very high expectations on Italian restaurants and always being disappointed. The experience I had at Avanti for my birthday this weekend completely blew away my expectations and involved some of the best food I've had in about 5-6 years. I'm super glad I had the Papardelle - Avanti has had the same pasta chef for over 40 years and it shines through in every bite. The appetizers, bread, salads, all of it was exquisite and stupendous and the environment and decor was soooo retro amazing. Finally the Tiramisu was made by angels. I haven't had a drink in 6 years and I got a slight buzz from it! 😅“

“A Hidden Gem in North Phoenix!

This deli is a lovely little gem tucked away in North Phoenix. The space is spotless, and it’s clear they use only top-quality ingredients. Service was quick, and the staff were warm and welcoming. They even had the weekend’s PGA final playing on the TV, which added a nice touch to the atmosphere.

I ordered a small meatball sandwich and a drink, and I was genuinely impressed by both the taste and the value. To my surprise, the meal also came with a small bag of Lay’s potato chips and a fantastic pickle — seriously, one of the best I’ve had!

I’m thrilled to have found this spot so close to my new apartment. It’s definitely going to be a regular stop for me. Highly recommended — I’ll 100% be back!“

“You want a NY style cutlet and perfect al dente pasta? This is the spot. There are numerous signs saying they decline any modification requests. When I sat down, I politely let them know I was allergic to tomato and pine nuts, a class 2+ allergic reaction so cross contamination won't cause serious issues, but that takes out most of the menu items if I don't want a bunch of mouth and throat blisters, could they either leave red sauce, or tomatoes off an item? They said one way or another they'd take care of me, and what were the details of my restrictions. I ordered the bucatini and said I wanted the milanese but also said I'd be happy with a plain cutlet if they couldn't modify the milanese, no worries, I get it. I received the bucatini with a cutlet dressed in the most flavorful and fresh lemon butter topped with fresh grated parmesan reggiano. Every part start to finish was prefect and flavorful. They accommodated my allergies without compromising on their principles. They made sure to check in and verify everything was safe for me to eat. With real food allergies it's always a gamble, especially with allergies to less common allergens, and very common ingredients, such as tomato. If the music was one notch lower volume it would have been much easier to have a conversation but I'm old and if that's what the cool kids these days are into, I'll turn up the beltones.“

They accommodated the fact that my husband has hearing aids so they put us at a corner booth. The food was absolutely ridiculous and we just had a great time. I would recommend north to anyone that would want to have a great upscale experience with a down town vibe.“

There are not GF marking on the menu but our waiter did also check on a few items on the menu for us, but learned the soy sauce is not safe. We stuck with the gluten free pasta!“
