“As soon as I walked in the door I knew we landed at the right place. Old school family style authentic vibe. ALL of the staff are amazing. Welcoming, personable and great service (I have worked in hospitality the last 6 years). We were there for our anniversary and the waiter came out to serenade us! Our bartender stepped out as we were leaving to say good bye. The food was delicious! Bread, anti-pasto, all the entrees our party ordered all to perfection. 6 top and all the food was hot, pasta cooked perfectly. Truly the best. Wish I we had this place back home. “We were celebrating my friends 60th birthday and our food and service were outstanding. Our waitress was kind, engaging, friendly, and attentive. Greg came over a few times to check on us as there was a loud group memorializing a friend who had passed. They asked if we wanted a quieter area, but we were fine, and it was pleasant to see caring people discuss their friend who was gone. My wife had the blackened salmon and parmesan risotto special, and I had Cannelloni special both were exceptional. We will be back, it is a great place for many occasions, and our friend really loved her bottle of wine and chicken marsala as well. Cheers 5 Stars for my friends“

“Food was fantastic! Service was impeccable!! I strongly recommend this place. My only disappointment was when it came time to pay we were charged an extra 4% on top of our bill because we paid with a card and I feel like that is something that should be noted ahead of time. It was our first time there so it caught us off guard. ESPECIALLY since I was charged extra to tip 😬 Everything about this establishment is wonderful, they just need to change whoever it is they are doing business with to process their card transactions.“

“Niccolli's is tucked into a small shopping plaza on 16th street. I have been twice now, once for lunch (shared a very delicious meatball sub) and once to purchase some authentic Italian items for a recipe. The owner is an engaging man, always ready to share his knowledge. When I went to purchase the items I needed for my recipe, he talked me through how his product shared all but one ingredient listed in my recipe, and what I needed to add to make it perfect. I appreciated that he took the time, especially since it was lunchtime and busy in there! The shop has a wall of items for purchase as well, and, special gluten free pasta! I will be back for sure and can highly recommend Niccolli's!“

“Good ambiance, I like the brick look. Friendly staff. Surprisingly small menu which makes it easier to choose! We sat at the bar and split wings and a small Margharita Pizza. The wings were AMAZING. Top three for me. Meaty, cooked well, and the flavor was on point. The pizza was not great. It really lacked flavor. I really wanted to like it. That all being said, we will be back to try their other pizzas. Walking through the restaurant I got to see some other dishes and they all smelled and looked so good!“

“I've been in Phoenix for 20 years and have grown to completely dismiss most Italian restaurants here. I'm Italian and part of our culture is pressing very high expectations on Italian restaurants and always being disappointed. The experience I had at Avanti for my birthday this weekend completely blew away my expectations and involved some of the best food I've had in about 5-6 years. I'm super glad I had the Papardelle - Avanti has had the same pasta chef for over 40 years and it shines through in every bite. The appetizers, bread, salads, all of it was exquisite and stupendous and the environment and decor was soooo retro amazing. Finally the Tiramisu was made by angels. I haven't had a drink in 6 years and I got a slight buzz from it! 😅“

She was so sweet and she was on top of everything. She had four or five tables of at least four or five people in each. She didn’t miss a beat. We drove all the way from Gilbert to meet my family for a late lunch. She made it so good . The food was wonderful. Dessert is always great!
The bonus was when you get an opportunity to go for a late lunch at 2:30 3 o’clock in the afternoon. The atmosphere is much nicer. It’s not loud and crowded. It made for a wonderful time for my family to get together and our Sweet waitress made it all the more wonderful for us.

Highly recommend Ben as a server here. He listened to all the details, so willing to fix the small mix up on the steak (he noticed himself, we didn't need to say anything ) .

“Unfortunately we arrived at 6:15 per our reservation. We ordered drinks and our pizzas relatively quickly. Unfortunately 2 tables came in after us got their orders way before we did. It took 40 minutes to get 2 thin crust pizzas. Very disappointed in the length of time it took to get our food. The waitress stated several times our pizza was coming out soon but it didn't. Not sure if we will be back. Pizza was delish though.“

“A Hidden Gem in North Phoenix!

This deli is a lovely little gem tucked away in North Phoenix. The space is spotless, and it’s clear they use only top-quality ingredients. Service was quick, and the staff were warm and welcoming. They even had the weekend’s PGA final playing on the TV, which added a nice touch to the atmosphere.

I ordered a small meatball sandwich and a drink, and I was genuinely impressed by both the taste and the value. To my surprise, the meal also came with a small bag of Lay’s potato chips and a fantastic pickle — seriously, one of the best I’ve had!

I’m thrilled to have found this spot so close to my new apartment. It’s definitely going to be a regular stop for me. Highly recommended — I’ll 100% be back!“

“We met another couple at North and didn’t know what to expect. We walked in and the hostesses were very friendly. They accommodated the fact that my husband has hearing aids so they put us at a corner booth. The food was absolutely ridiculous and we just had a great time.
