I ordered the egg and cheese sandwich on sourdough bread, together with a self service coffe ( with delicious french vanilla coffee mate ?) The sandwich was lovely and crispy and extremely tasty. Indoor seating is available and there's a nice relaxed vibe inside. Great value prices for the US. Also available were yoghurt pots, fruit pots, cold drinks, crisps etc.... I convinced him to try this place with the deal I'll take him for a steak next week if he doesn't like Port of Subs. I'll still get him a steak for his birthday dinner coming up but he already asked if we could bring his brother next week and eat here again. Port of Subs rocks! Bring one to Surprise or let me know if we can franchise one out here.“

“As a Chicago native of nearly 40 years, I know authentic Chicago food when I taste it—and Luke’s of Chicago, located at 1602 E. Indian School Rd. in Phoenix, delivers just that. Tucked into a modest shopping center right off the expressway, this small, no-frills spot instantly brings back memories of home.

Though the neighborhood has a mixed reputation, I’ve always felt completely safe visiting Luke’s. The cozy interior is lined with classic Chicago street signs, pictures of the Lakefront, and that familiar, comforting aroma of sizzling beef and onions.

Luke’s menu is packed with Chicago staples: juicy burgers with grilled onions, Chicago-style hot dogs with that signature bright green relish, hearty pizza puffs, and of course, the iconic Italian beef sandwich—my personal favorite. Everything is made fresh to order, and you can watch your food being prepared right in front of you.

Be warned, prices have risen with the times. My recent burger and fries (extra onions, of course) ran me about $20—but it was worth every bite. There are no combo meals or discounts, everything is à la carte, but the flavors and authenticity are unmatched.

“I've gotten delivery from sacks multiple times now .. this place is delicious. I get their Tuna on Sourdough with sprouts, tomato, onion and banana peppers with deli mustard, horseradish sauce --- ABSOLUTE FIRE. I love this sandwich. I also get a chocolate chip cookie -- a small once comes with the sandwhich which is what got me hooked on ordering the big one. Today it came .. and it was warm .. they put in the back with the hot sandwhich we also got .. how thoughtful! the cookie arrived warmed for me. Delicious. Love this place.

For vegetarians: They have a ton of veggie options that you can load on a sandwich and different mustards and spreads you can try out. It's good .. but not a ton of options as far as vegetarian deli meats, tofu or anything like that. But it's doable. And A LOT fresher than some of the other vegan vegetarian options for sandwhiches available.“

“I had a great experience at Sacks Sandwiches! I ordered the sacks symphony turkey bacon avocado sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients and great flavor. The complementary cookie was a nice touch and really tasty. I’d skip the potato salad, lemon bar, and caramel apple bar though — they didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

I was really hoping to try one of their soups, but the only option that day was a cabbage-based one that didn’t appeal to me. I would’ve loved to see something more classic like a decadent potato leek, broccoli cheddar, or even a tomato bisque. Hopefully next time!“

“Luana’s is by far one of the coolest coffee shops I’ve ever been to! From the first day I stepped foot into this place, I felt like I was walking into a home away from home. They have the coziest furniture that makes you want to stay for hours. The barista’s have always been so welcoming which has played a big part in making every experience at Luana’s a 10/10. Not to mention their breakfast pizza is a 100/10. They have such unique specialty coffees and their matcha is one of the best I’ve had yet. Anyone would regret not stepping foot at least once in such a lovely place!“

“Not all Subways are alike. I usually order on the app and pick up these days. They almost always have my order ready ahead of me arriving. I don't know the guy's name that was making my sandwiches last time but he seemed to be in charge there and he was really pleasant and made a great sandwich. I was dreading a big line and got lucky nobody was there until I was leaving. He had a nice demeanor and made everything perfectly. He said enjoy the sandwiches and I really did. I even tipped him a few bucks. I've been eating Subway for so many years and it's nice to see someone that likes their job and does it well.“

They were absolutely FANTASTIC, during a busy Saturday lunch hour, Easter Weekend, during the Collegiate Mems and Womens Club Volleyball Championships.
