“Mmmmm, this place is awesome, I can see why all the local workers pop by here for coffee breaks or lunches. Inside can get a bit packed, tight washrooms but loved that ham swiss croissant, better than Starbucks version. Iced coffee was creamy and delicious. Worth a stop!“

“Wonderful coffee shop. Open, industrial, modern feel. Coffee was fresh and on point. Lots of nice nooks to enjoy your coffee and pastry and watch the world go by. Pain au chocolat was delicious, flakey, soft, rich, life affirming. The barista was laid back, I liked his dice earrings. Cheeky business card too. I feel like if Stevie Nicks was in Victoria for a coffee she would come here.“

“Since Good Earth has been in the Bay Centre, I have always enjoyed my time with all the staff. Notable shout out to Clara
+ Earl and Hazel (past employees )
I have always enjoyed sitting in with my coffee and never felt rushed. The food is always good, and I love seeing the new items they rotate through.
Dietary restrictions: They offer a clear visible labelling of their items with a easy to follow legend for customers to view.“

“A wonderful local coffee experience.
Seating for ~15. Lots of free parking. No drive-thru. Local artwork on display. Wi-Fi. Collect rewards points.
Great selection of snacks and a wide choice of beverages. I just had the cheddar bagel with cheese, lemon loaf and a London Fog made with oat milk.
Remember to recycle and say hi to Eric!“

“The cafe is also full during the day on weekdays. The overall environment is very good. There is a large light-transmitting indoor area outside where you can sit, so you don’t have to worry about not having a seat.
"creamsicle fog" tastes very good, relatively sweet
"London fog" is super delicious! It's British milk tea. The tea has a very strong aroma and is not sweet!“

“If you are looking for a delightful latte experience, you must visit the warm, inviting wood deck of Macciato Caffe & Paninoteca. I was able to cozy up my scooter right next to my table and sip and savour their delicious Lavender Latte while watching the florist from “Flowers on Top” select gorgeous peonies from their spring flower selection across the street. Gorgeous spot, simply delightful!“

“We really enjoy coffee and treats and occasionally lunch in this lovely spot. The staff are great, the venue charming. The outdoor water views are beautiful. The only thing I would suggest, is to add few savoury baked goods, for those of us without a big sweet tooth. Savoury scones, sausage rolls etc for a small sustaining snack😊“
“Gigi's is a rad local cafe with freshly made baked goods (I get a muffin every time) and delightful coffee. They support the local arts by showcasing local artist's physical talent (trinkets, mugs, paintings) and also through hosting open mics and poetry/writers nights. They have a live musician play most Sundays for a few hours and the owner, Gino, sings some sweet Italian tunes at the open mics. So... yeah Gigi's has been a glorious addition to the Quadra Village, buy stuff there“

“We are in Calgary Alberta and trying to find a special thing we could do for my boyfriend’s Mom for her Birthday out in Victoria. We thought we’d send her a little breakfast to brighten up her day. Cat’s Coffee and Cake did just that. Not only we’re we told the food was delicious, I asked them to write a little special note and they went above and beyond to make it look really nice and totally special. Thank You so much… 100 thumbs up from Calgary.“

“We ordered 4 bags online to be shipped to Edmonton, they were sent promptly but on arrival we noticed our 5lb bag had turned into a 300g bag on its journey over haha. I let them know and with no questions asked they sent us another 5lb bag right away! Love the coffee and love the service. Life long customer from now on!“

“Came to Java Jo's to get some work done. It was the first time coming here and the environment is super cute and retro. The service was phenomenal. The barista asked very specific questions to ensure I got my coffee how I liked it. Clarified how much sugar and checked how much space for cream. A well catered coffee snd delightful experience.“

“We're soiled for cafes in Langford these days, but Ponchos is still my go-to. As a regular now, I shout its praises whenever possible. You can't go wrong with incredibly friendly staff, who do their absolute best to provide exceptional service and make you feel welcome. Food is fresh, filling, with plenty of options for smaller bites or larger meals. (Personally, I always go for the Ponchos Breakfast Sandwich.)
Alongside your usual drink options, Ponchos also has a seasonal/rotating drink menu that is always creative and delicious.
I appreciate the laid back, personable vibe of the cafe, holding onto a cafe experience that feels nostalgic.
In the heart of Langford city centre, this cafe is a hub for local news and catching up with loved ones. Highly recommend to anyone living in Langford and passing through.“
“This is a clean location with good service and two bathrooms. It did become really busy mid morning when the nearby students came in for a pick-me-up, but nothing wrong with that.
Wheelchair accessibility: It seems very accessible.“

“Seemed to be a bit more of a wait than I'm used to. Not to order, that was quick and asked the right questions to get the right product.Waiting for the order to be filled. There were four people ahead of me in the store, yet it took fifteen minutes to get two drinks.Oak Bay Avenue and the Yates Street location seem quicker.“
“This Starbucks is a daily (sometimes more than once!) stop for me. The baristas are super friendly, and make an effort to get to know their customers. You normally like a straw? They will ask of you want a straw. You prefer non dairy? They’ll remember. You like green tea with no sweetener with lunch? When you walk in at noon they’ll ask “your regular?” It’s not just about the coffee when the people are part of the experience. (But the coffee is good too!)“
“As tourists used to the likes of Starbucks, Bows was out of the ordinary for us as the menu is classic and minimalistic, without the additives we are used to. However, customer service was excellent—they talked to us about what we liked and helped us curate a drink to our tastes, and they were very informative. Our coffees were delicious, as well. If we are ever back in town, we will return!“

“My group of four truly enjoyed our evening. The food was the best we've had in a long time! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic and memorable. Excellent staff, service and food and the fireworks show truly was the icing on top. We even had a gorgeous view over the grounds to the water. We will definitely be back! Butcharts is our fav place to go. Thank you!“
