“I went with friends for a birthday dinner. The food was great, and the restaurant has a classy feel. Our servers, Rachael and Ritish were very warm and genuine. They presented the birthday girl with a delicious lava cake(looked beautiful on the plate)and sang happy birthday 🙂“

“Hop and Vine Taphouse in Burnaby is a solid spot to hang out with friends, offering a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights of my visit was their “Dinosour” — easily one of the best sour beers I’ve had, with bold, tangy flavors that really stand out. Their lager and lager lite were decent but fairly average in comparison.
On the food side, there were some hits and misses. The linguine Alfredo was excellent — creamy, rich, and full of flavor, making it a standout dish. The wings, however, were a letdown overall. They were consistently dry and tough, lacking the juiciness you’d expect. The Cajun wings, while better seasoned than the others, still didn’t impress — the flavor was flat and didn’t do enough to make up for the texture. The jerk wings fared worse, with seasoning that was too overpowering and didn’t complement the meat well. Even with the sauce, the wings remained hard and dry, making them difficult to enjoy.
A nice bonus is the free-to-use pool table, which adds a fun and social element to the visit. While the food is inconsistent, the relaxed vibe and unique beer selection — especially the standout Dinosour — make this a decent place to chill with friends.“
“We travelled back in time for today’s adventure..
90s price, 90s equipment, friendly and helpful staff
$2 a game from 10am-4pm Mondays to Thursdays
Shoes $5 + tax (we bowled 2 games plus shoes is $9.20), they don’t take cash only debit and credit.
It is stuffy inside even though they had lots of fans running. We started with Lane 11, the balls keep getting stuck or wipe out our pins, after the first shot, then we try Lane 12 and it didn’t want to give our balls back. finally got to Lane 13 and it was fine.
We were so rusty and did our best.. the screen will have some graphics pop up after you bowl each frame. In between score boards, the TV screens were showing old MTV videos from the 90s..
Not allow to post our scores as we were really bad. All in all, it was a fun day, at least we try..
Good place to keep kids occupy for a few hours. The place had 12 lanes running today, mostly groups of tweens and teenagers.“

“This hidden gem may be small in size, but it delivers big on portions, flavor, and value. It's popular with locals, so expect a lineup—especially during lunch and dinner specials.
You can enjoy generous $8.95 lunch options like chicken souvlaki or fettuccine Alfredo, and $9.95 dinner specials featuring dishes such as New York steak and salmon. The cozy atmosphere gives off the charming vibe of a small-town European eatery.
Street parking is available, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.“
