“Great food with large portions and friendly staff. The pictures others posted the plates seemed smaller but they are actually quite large. Loved the pita bread, very fresh and soft. The ceasar salad was tasty as was chicken and rice. Potatoes were a little plain but otherwise cooked nicely. It was fairly busy today from people watching the Blue Jay's game.

I came to this restaurant as neighbours spoke highly of it. I lost one neighbor late last year (Diane) and it was her favorite restaurant next to Ambit.

I will be returning here and so will a friend who treated me to dinner and drinks. We both thought it was a wonderful place. Though both of us admit we thought originally it wasn't a restaurant based on its name.“

“The server, Jordana provides wonderful service. She is efficient, pleasant, and extremely polite. She remembers what drink I ordered and was fast to serve another one. She is patient. She makes the atmosphere wonderful! Many thumbs up to her! Jordana is wonderful!“

“I went with friends for a birthday dinner. The food was great, and the restaurant has a classy feel. Our servers, Rachael and Ritish were very warm and genuine. They presented the birthday girl with a delicious lava cake(looked beautiful on the plate)and sang happy birthday 🙂“

“Ordered the vegetarian combo through DoorDash and Uber Eats, and both times were excellent! I've been to almost all of the Ethiopian restaurants in the city and this has the best veg combo. Portions were generous, everything was spiced perfectly, and I love that they include beets. The injera is tangy and not dry like some other places.

Kudos to whoever was cooking today (Oct 30)! Looking forward to trying their other dishes.

Note to the owner - the Uber Eats app now has a glitch where you can't order a veg combo for one without being charged double, so I ordered on DoorDash instead.“

“This place is definitely getting long in the tooth. Lanes are warped, balls are garbage, and all the tech is 20+ years old.

that said, it's cheap as heck, and they know once you're on your 4th beer you're not running straight anyways, so why bother invest?

would this place attract significantly more clientele if they spent 100k renovating? no, probably not.

it's a 4 star experience and that's fine. it's cheap and fun enough. like an old Honda Accord, run it into the ground.“
