“Really cute cafe with a light and airy atmosphere! Great choice of desserts that are so pretty they would make good gifts. Had a salmon-avocado sandwich and an iced Spanish latte. The latte was really pretty with huge ice cubes and a cardboard cuff on the cup that was hand stamped with the cafe’s cute logo, giving it an artisanal feel. The flavour was well balanced and custardy with a dessert-like feel. The salmon sandwich was huge and wrapped in paper so it was easy to eat. It was really fresh with delicate flavours, letting the quality of the ingredients shine. While I really enjoyed it, I found it a little too sweet for my taste and was not a big fan of the cinnamon in the pickles, however, this was a matter of personal taste. The cafe is spotlessly clean and a great place to study, work or meet with friends. The staff were really friendly and attentive.“

“Dropped in for a very late lunch. Lots of street parking is available. Their nice patio stands out among the ageing businesses nearby. Seating inside is minimal as a lot of their business is takeout.
Shared the Feijoada which was hearty, filling and unctuous. This is blue collar food at its best. We also had Bolina de Queijo - who can resist deep fried cheese covered in batter! and Beef Rissoles which were good.
Rounding out our meal was the delicious and thirst quenching fresh squeezed juices. We had an orange juice and an açai juice.
However, the absolute stars of their menu are the house made chocolates. We each had one and oh, swoon!! These cannot be missed!
We also took home a banoffee mousse and a chocolate passion fruit mousse and had these a day later. Highly recommend these as well!
Thank goodness we don’t live really close or we’d be dessertaholics 😄“

“A nice quiet place for any travelers and locals to sip on a nice cup of coffee. Its right between the Rural side of the country with only Coffee Monster in sight, and the busy ramp up areas down Waterfront/YaleTown of Vancouver. If you're looking for a place to rest and smooth up your tired travels, this is one stop worth dropping by.“

“It’s been a while since I’ve been here. I came here specifically to eat mango ice cream.
Rich mango flavor and lots of ingredients
I particularly like their small meatballs, which are glutinous and fragrant.
It’s best eaten with Mianmianbing
The boss is very nice and Mianmian Bing is very attentive.
Have a great time eating“

“Great taste and excellent customer services!!!
I had a little issue for scone quality. But Prado cafe made a correction so quick. Makes me so happy. I had an issue for gift card refund of Joey Restaurant before, Joey restaurant was so terrible comparing with Prado cafe’s customer service.
Thanks Prado!!! Shameful Joey restaurant.(Joey restaurant doesn’t have any review page )“
“This is where you want to go for a really good coffee!!
Finding great coffee is near impossible in BC! Not to say that other coffee shops are bad, but most are painfully generic. Veroni & Co. has very well trained staff who have excellent knowledge in their craft. I ordered a macchiatto which is off menu, but they were able to execute a perfect one.
Their beans are roasted in house and you could tell the roaster takes pride in their craft. I was able to discern the full body character, and the nuances of the beans throughout a sip.
Though I tend to favour single origin coffees, the blend was perfectly executed. The medium acidity complemented the mild citrus notes that first hit you. It then evolved into a very clean chocolatey finish. Reminiscent of a wet-hulled Indonesian bean.
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience here. Thank you!“

“A quaint little cafe tucked into the Brentwood mall food court, Soon Coffee caught my eye with its charming combination of blue, light pink, and white decor, adorned with adorable illustrations: a visual treat that initially drew me in.
The space, though small, was well-utilized, creating an inviting atmosphere. I opted for an iced americano and a chocolate chip cookie, simple items that were hard to mess up. The staff were warm but seemed slightly uncoordinated. For instance, I ordered a small iced americano but received a larger size instead. This wasn't a problem for me, but it could be concerning if another customer experienced the reverse situation. Although I was the only one waiting, the barista had to call for me from across the counter and ask me what I ordered, which was strange. It seemed like they were new, so I'm inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt. As for the food, the chocolate chip cookie was mediocre. The center was unbaked and it tasted as if it were missing an ingredient. However, the iced americano, which was unexpectedly sweet, balanced the bold, dark flavours of the coffee beautifully.
Overall, Soon Coffee is a really cute spot that I'd like to visit more often should I find myself at Brentwood.“

“Such a lovely little cafe! The hospitality and kindness of the employees really stood out—they were so sweet and welcoming. There was a great variety of freshly baked items to choose from, all of which looked (and tasted) delicious. I especially loved the cream cheese options !
The drinks were also great, and the whole vibe of the place is cozy and cute. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to sit and stay awhile. A perfect cafe with a solid mix of options—highly recommend!“

“The staff here are so friendly, caring, patient, and kind! I accidentally left my wallet at home today, which means I couldn't pay by credit card, debit card, or cash. So I set up Apple Pay and it was my first time to use that method to pay. The ladies at the cashier were so nice in walking through the payment process with me. It was not superficial, they genuinely were helpful. I noticed that when the new staff did not know which buttons to press at the cashier, her colleagues were swift to give helpful instructions.
The food here is great as always. I got a yummy chocolate ice cream, mango pudding, rice crispies, and a soda pop.
The environment is very positive and energetic. I can see Avalon is a great company and the staff are being taken care of. What a wonderful place!“

“Inside the Sinclair center. Coffe was good, food options not as much. Being close to the gym it's a good spot for a refreshment or a casual coffee. They do have benches to sit in but they were a bit dirty. I don’t think they get much cleaning. Service was fast. Plenty of parking in front but can get busy quickly, especially when games start.“

“Just a small Starbucks at Safeway and some staff working there were not very welcoming or trained to properly serve some basic stuff, but it depends on the day you go there.
The majority of the time is your basic Starbucks level of service. Nice drinks, warm food, and good service overall.“

“We came with 4 kids during a family visit. We came on a weekday and it was busy but not overwhelming. I can see how it could be crazy on a weekend. The food was absolutely delicious. We shared every dish, Bulgogi platter, fried chicken (both spicy and not), mango waffles, along with other pastries. The front girl taking our order was friendly, food is fantastic and the decor was cool. Its not an intimate fine dining type place. Expect some overall noise with how sound travels.“

“Absolutely love this place - the coffee is great, the staff are absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable, and I appreciate it being open early. JJ Bean is solid all over the city and even among them this has gotta be one of the better locations. Note that seating where laptops are allowed to be used is limited and it gets busy later in the day.
Vegetarian options: They always have vegan breakfast sandwiches and muffins/baked goods and carry multiple plant based milks
Parking: Very large mall parking garage right next door, also very accessible by transit (5 minute walk from Skytrain)
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to access venue and has a wheelchair accessible bathroom“

“Always excellent service, especially from Parmisha she is a gem! She is always quick to help even when the doors open at 7am. She is fast and happy, always prepping, training staff and getting the job done in the best possible way. Give that woman a raise!!“
“This is a kiosk, located in the food court. Although it's not a very big place, they have quite a few baristas and exceptionally quick. Although there was a long line up, they went through it very quickly. I decided to do a mobile order, when I saw the long line up and it was extremely fast as well. Kudos to them!“
“While there’s a lot to like about this Starbs, this morning they were pumping Toxic by Britney Spears and while I agree it’s a hot jam, 5am is not the time for Queen B. I used to take my book with me in the morning with the hope that I could do some reading, but sadly who’s ever choosing the music is still in clubbing mode from the night before on most mornings which doesn’t really set the mood. Missing the old jazz and indie playlists in general from Starbs which were incredibly curated and surprisingly erudite.“

“I usually don't do reviews of coffee shops since there are way too many in this part of Canada.
What I would say is this particular coffee shop has a nice Vibe and it is quite spacious with tall ceilings. They also have a liquor license which is surprising but when I talked to the owner he said that it came with part of Ellie's contract. So if you want to stop by and enjoy a beverage and not just coffee, this is a place to check out.“
“Wholefoods offers a fantastic, wooden-feel, minimalistic and easy going seating area with plenty of options which are mostly sourced from local companies or made in-store. They have a great facilities area with microwave and water refill station as well as compostable water cups.I opted for the Large Soy Cappucino with some whipped in cinammon, great value (20oz) in size compared to other coffee houses and the Allegro coffee is super yummy from local roasters. They also have an awesome range of all dairy free milks and their bakery contains a plethora of delicious tasty goodies to cater for all tastebuds as well as vegan and gluten-free options.I wish they would extend their great offer for for coffee and muffin to other baked goods to offer a bit more variety and the fact these things freshly served bad boys literally sell like hot cakes as their so good, but is one my only gripes. Therefore, if your there late morning it's hard to fight for any of the good muffins left.I always opt for my go-to Banana Bread as it's incredibly scrummy and as most of their stuff is made from wholesome, fresh and locally-sourced ingredients.“

“Tera’s Bean in Burnaby is a fantastic spot for dessert lovers! We sampled a few of their cheesecakes and ganache treats, and everything was top-tier. The Matcha Basque Cheesecake was rich and creamy with a deep matcha flavor, while the Classic Basque Cheesecake had a perfectly caramelized top and melt-in-your-mouth texture.
We also tried the Matcha Ganache and Chocolate Ganache — both were warm, rich, and incredibly indulgent. The texture and flavor balance were spot on!
The café has a cozy, modern vibe that makes it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. If you’re into high-quality desserts with thoughtful flavors, this place is absolutely worth a visit.“

“Great service. We tried the homemade recipe, Bulgogi Panini. Our daughter loves it. 9 out of 10. :) Ordered their large Mocha coffee and it's not overly sweet. Just right. Wooden chairs. Very clean place including restroom. Free Wifi. God bless this business.
Parking: They have 6 parking spots. 2 shared by the motel adjacent to them.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's ground floor. No restrictions for wheelchair accessibility from the street.“

“This fairly newly opened Banh Mi spot is a nice place to visit for dine in and takeout. The staff working are friendly (owner seems to work often) which adds to the genuine experience.
I’ve had most of the Banh Mi & Coffees and most are all quite yummy 😊“
“Friendly staff, good drinks, quick service.
Their dragonfruit lemonade was quite enjoyable with the slightly frozen dragonfruit chunks. Although, you can't really sip it in through the tiny opening slot.
The other white chocolate cold brew latte was fantastic. Smooth to drink, sweet but not to a diabetic level.
Overall the environment is nice and there's bathrooms upstairs too.
Parking: Free parking across the street in the lot.“

“We popped into Brentwood Mall to hunt for Christmas gifts for family and friends and stumbled upon this cozy café. Since it was raining (and coffee is the ultimate rain buddy), we decided to give it a try. Along with our perfectly balanced lattes—not too milky, not too frothy—we grabbed a pack of their mini croissants. It had almond, butter, raisin, and cinnamon sugar flavors, and let me tell you, they were chef's kiss delicious! The café also has a great seating area and a tempting menu with lots of options we’re itching to explore next time. Rain or shine, this place is worth a stop!“

“Had the raspberry and strawberry prostate. It was amazing. We bought a strawberry, apple, rhubarb crisp pie.. it was very good.
