“I frequent Joey Burnaby, however, it was my first time having the blackened chicken, which was very yummy. What really impressed me was the hot potato salad that came with the meal - delicious!!! Everyone else in our party really enjoyed their meals too. Even though the room was very energetic we could still have a decent conversation. It added to the level fun we were having for a twin birthday celebration. The server was excellent, very attentive especially because we had someone who is celiac and has special food limitations.“

“Best pizza I've had in a long time ordered a medium constantly Amazed by their service and their pizza and I just won 8 slices of pizza with their new promo I don't Gamble. Customer service is awesome they're polite and they make sure that your order is finished before somebody can come forward and Budge in front they're very kind. And very professional.

“We've dined at No. 1 Beef Noodle for dinner several times, but this was our first time trying their breakfast, and it was quite a pleasant surprise! Normally, the dinner crowd and long queues deter us, especially with kids who aren’t keen on waiting. Opting for breakfast turned out to be a delightful decision.

The breakfast menu is impressive, offering a wide variety of choices and different combinations that cater to diverse tastes. We tried the pork chop with black pepper sauce, and it was excellent—perfectly cooked with a flavorful sauce that really hit the spot. The highlight of our visit was the special 11% discount offered in celebration of November 11, which was an unexpected bonus that made our meal even more enjoyable.

“We ordered the “Okonoman Date” Set for around $62 + tax and service charge. It came with salad, sushi, sashimi, makis, terriyaki, tempura, miso soup. We were so full. The set can be good for 3, if you’re not so hungry or if you don’t eat much. Service was fast, the waitress was friendly, and the booths made eating there private and special.

“The Taiwanese hot pot in Burnaby has a very authentic taste. It has many menu choices, fresh ingredients, bright store lights, and friendly service. It is also worth mentioning that the store is also very kind to children and will give children stickers, which is also good for parent-child customers. Highly recommended. “This pizza shop is one of our favourite place to have pizza. They always provide fresh pizzas and the staff members are friendly and it is delivered on time.

Overall the don is fantastic with colossal serving sizes. I believe there was a $10 chashu don special at one point and it was wonderful. The don never disappoints.

Ramen is a little small for me but the taste is always great and beautiful presentation.

The atmosphere is nice with simple wood tables and seats, moderate lighting and relatively quiet.

Servers are nice and do a great job.

“We only discovered this brewery yesterday through a friend. We got to sample a testing and fell in love with all the selections. We checked out the actual Brewery today. What an amazing place, the feeling was warm, the staff was friendly. We purchased lots today. And we can’t wait to come back with friends and recommending it to friends. Great job ! “Recently went here for Lunch with the family.
It was around 60$ per person for AYCE for 2 hours. We went on a Saturday at around 12:30 to 1ish and the wait was only a few minuted to be seated.
2 Hour FREE Parking is included, by parking in the lot behind the restaurant and then scanning at QR code at reception.
So the way it works is you basically pay for the soup base (which is priced at 59.99), and order any sliced meats (no charge) on the iPad they give you. And any other vegetables, noodles or other add ons you want to put into your soup base is at the back for you to grab yourself. You have a 2 hour dining limit, but you can order as much meat as you’d like. They also have a dessert bar and sauce bar as well that you can customize to your liking. Afterwards they also give complimentary Soft Serve ice cream. Staff is very friendly and always checking in on you and collecting plates as you go. Definitely somewhere I’d go for more special occasions, rather than a normal outing.“

“We were visiting from out of town and stopped at Cactus Club for my partners birthday dinner. We are so happy we chose Cactus as the food and service were great!

We were lucky to have Ghayass as our server and they were amazing! Very attentive and made our birthday celebration feel special. Huge shout out to Ghayass!

For food we started with the calamari and it was amazing, I could have eaten a large entree sized portion of just this! We also got a green goddess salad that was great and the bolognese pasta which was really good.

We ordered a crème brûlée for desert and Ghayass made it special by bringing it out with a happy birthday message and a candle, thank you so much! The dessert was amazing!

“Wow, what a hidden gem in Burnaby - Sushi Bar Kilala is a cozy, authentic Japanese restaurant. I visited recently because of all the positive reviews and got a small to-go order. “The food is great. I ordered the spicy salmon sashimi, and the lunch special chirashi. The spicy salmon had a sweet and spicy sauce which I liked a lot. The lunch special was good too with the sweet teriyaki sauce on the rice and sashimi. However, the sashimi was at room temperature, I don’t like. It should be slightly below room temperature, but not freezing. The miso soup was perfect.

The service was amazing. I had a very friendly server, she would check up on me if everything was good and offered more tea. She was a bit quiet though, I couldn’t really hear her through the music that was playing.

The atmosphere is dark with warm lighting which I love. The place is a bit old, and dirty, but this place has been here for a long time, so I understand. They had action figures along the walls which makes this sushi place very unique and has its own personality. While I was eating though, there were fruit flies flying around.

I can see myself bringing my family here for dinner. I recommend trying this place out.“

“This is a staple for pho near Metrotown mall. It does get very busy and there isn’t a lot of seating available so you may need to wait during busy periods

Parking is a bit tough as it’s street parking only.

For pho, they make a tasty broth and it’s very flavorful. Definitely the highlight of the meal. Not all pho is made the same and they definitely have the right mix.

This review is mainly based on the food as its interior is similar to most pho places. Definitely worth stopping by for a quick bite before a movie.“
