“The Karaoke is the best👌“
“Wasn't busy when we came, but the waitress was incredible. Extremely friendly, took time to chat with us and get to know us, turns out I knew her from my daughter's school a year back too. It's nice to visit a place where the staff cares about their customers.“

“The Dirty Bird, as the locals call it. First time there. We had a couple of drinks and dinner. All was good. The atmosphere is “community pub” the beer was cold and refreshing, the food was good, the service excellent. I’d go back for sure.“

“Our meal at Brentwood Lodge was the perfect way to cap off a day of local wine tasting. The food was absolutely delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed soaking up the sun on the patio and the beautiful scenery. Ethan was our server, and he was excellent—genuinely attentive and right on the ball. Koen also assisted at our table, and his help was extremely pleasant and professional. Both of them made our visit truly enjoyable!“

“I can’t comment on the food as I haven’t eaten here, but I’ve stopped by multiple times just for a pint. This review is based on that experience only.
I really want to give this place 5 stars—the atmosphere is nice and it’s always been a decent spot for a drink. However, I’m removing 1 stars for one big reason: the way they handle liquor tax.
Most establishments in B.C. include the liquor tax in the listed price of a pint. Here, it’s not included—you’ll see one price on the menu, but when the bill comes you’re hit with three different taxes: the standard two plus the B.C. liquor tax, which is passed directly to the customer. Considering the pints are already on the pricey side, I find this practice frustrating and misleading.
For example: two Fat Tug IPAs (Driftwood) came to $19.50 before tip. That’s steep, and not the kind of experience that makes me want to come back as often.
Hopefully they reconsider how they structure their pricing, because this could easily be a 5-star spot otherwise.“

“Final supper on the island before our journey back to the prairies. This supper was memorable. Large portions, great seafood linguine, good chowder, fish and chips and the shrimp platter. Service was great, our servers were a pleasure to talk with and made us feel valued and welcome. When we return to the island, this place will be on our must visit list again!“

“Popped in tonight to grab a bite to eat (Solo) before I had to scoot to my shop for the last ladies night. I tried the Lamb Jalfrezi!! What a delight! Lamb was cooked to perfection, and super tender, the veggies (peppers) still had some crunch, beautifully blended spices, basmati also cooked perfectly... I would have LICKED my bowl...however, had some soft buttery Naan to wipe the bowl clean!! My waitress (I'm sorry, I didn't ask you name... you know who you are!!). Lovely, young lady, took the time to chat a bit... it was just what I needed!! Thank you!“
