“I'm very satisfied with the meal here. Store was busy and it was a bit of wait. Kimbab (yes, we even ordered the 2nd one after trying the 1st one), beef rib soup and hangover ramen were so good. It's authentic Korean restaurant, we're the only non-Korean guests there. Store is small, just fine for a quick meal & leave.“

“I had a great dining experience at Toedam Korean Fusion BBQ. The portions here are impressively generous, making it one of the best value Korean restaurants I’ve visited in Vancouver. Every dish came out flavorful, well-seasoned, and freshly prepared.
The spicy marinated crab was rich and bold, the pork hot pot arrived sizzling with tender meat and savory broth, and the tteokbokki had that perfect chewy texture with a satisfying level of heat. Even the side dishes were delicious and thoughtfully made—fresh, well-balanced, and constantly replenished.
What really stood out, aside from the food, was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed. The restaurant is clean, organized, and the ordering system is easy to use, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.
Overall, Toedam offers excellent flavor, large portions, and great service at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious Korean food with amazing value. I would definitely come back again! 🍲🔥“

“Decided to write the review while we're craving for their kimbap already. We stumbled upon this place yesterday while en route out of town and decided to give it a try — and we’re so glad we did! The kimbap here is absolutely delicious, made with super fresh ingredients, and the place seemed spotless, which really stood out to us.
We ordered Tteokbokki, Natto Roo kimbap, Chichi kimbap, and Skinny Elephant kimbap. Every kimbap was bursting with flavor, and the quality of the ingredients really made a difference. The Skinny Elephant kimbap was so refreshing — my personal favorite (if you love salad, you haveeee to try!). My husband couldn't get enough of the Chichi kimbap. We also tried their kimchi soup, and immediately thought this is perfect for cold days.
Although there's no dining area, this is the ideal spot for takeout. We're already countjng down the days until we're back in Vancouver to grab more.
--
Additionally tried their Lobster kimbap, Lemon Basil Chicken kimbap, Spicy Beef soup, and Miso soup. Fresh, Tasty, and Excelllleeeeent as ever!

Loving the bite-sizes even more!“

“A nice hidden nook of Coquitlam, a clean establishment which features delicious Korean Fried Chicken. Plenty of options, with bone-in or boneless chicken, Bao Buns, Rice Bowls, Burgers, and classic Korean and Western sides. Perfect for lunch or dinner at an affordable and low cost, and can feed groups up to 4 or more on bigger dishes for sharing.
Quality of food is always excellent and service is fast and professional and done with care. The staff are eztremely friendly and easy to communicate with and perform their job excellently. Wait times are relatively low and the ingredients are fresh and the food is cooked just right.
For payment they accept card & cash, and are order at location, pick up, or delivery with apps (Fantuan, SkipTheDishes, DoorDash, UberEats).“

“Tried this place with my family on September 28th. We ordered Combo B (Kkan pung gi, Jajangmyun and Jjambong $54) it was good enough for 4 people. Just a bit smaller portion not too much.
Black bean noodle was good. Jjamgbbong was little bit spicy, but my parents liked the soup. Kkan pung gi (spicy chicken) was huge. It was a bit sweet, but meat was crispy and soft. They have weekday black bean noodle special for $5. Service was fast.“

“Update: Been coming here over a year, numerous times, and it has been a great experience everytime (dine-in and takeout). The food is still tastes great! Added more photos.
Past post: Photos and reviews brought my entire family here!
They say their DonKatsu is the best... And it definitely was!
Seafood Pancake was also the best one I've tried.
The Ddukboki is extremely spicy along with the bbq chicken with cheese
5 adults, 2 kids roughly $200 meal!
Was a great experience, they need more staff though.. Poor girls“

“I come to this restaurant often. I’ve had steamed monkfish at other places, but it’s the best here because it has plenty of thick, meaty pieces. I also used to like their fried flounder, but one time it had an old oil smell, so I haven’t ordered it again since.“

“Pretty good value and pretty ok food. I like their original Katsu, reminds me of home cooked Katsu which isn’t easy to make without making a mess. I will try their other menus as well. Last of all, good service by aunty. If you come to Henderson mall food court and feeling hungry, try Tokki for k food.
Parking: Easy to park at the mall unless rush hours.“

“Delicious food. Great place to catch up, get together, have fun and eat!“
“We has always walked by this restaurant, decided to give it a try.
You order at the table electronic menu, server was very friendly & helpful. My girlfriend can only have chicken, we asked the server whether the kitchen can accommodate her preference. A definite “Yes”, she ordered Bulgogi ( instead of beef, they sub it with chicken). She enjoyed the meal very much!
I had my favourite “Soon dubu Jigae “ with beef - a stew with veggies, beef & soft tofu. It was yummylicious, next time, I will have to order it spicy! Hubby had his favourite cold noodles with pork collar.
Service & food was good, lunchtime on a weekday got very crowded, lots of people ordered the BBQ set for lunch special.
We will be back!“

“Fried chicken is insanely juicy and flavourful! I have tried all their soups and none of them disappoints me.
Attentive and friendly services as well.
This is not the place for influencers!!!! Take your promotions elsewhere rather than giving dishonest reviews. This is the place for people who actually appreciate the food rather than posting pretty pictures on social media.“

“House of Tofu Soup is a cozy, casual spot that delivers comforting Korean fare at its best. The star is, of course, the silky tofu soup, rich, flavorful, and customizable with your choice of spice level and protein. The side dishes are fresh and plentiful, and the stone pot rice adds the perfect touch. Quick service, great portions, and warm vibes make it a go-to for anyone craving a hearty, satisfying meal.“

“Been here recently: Everything still seems to be the same under new management
- Jajangmeon tasted great
- Shrimp Fried Rice was just how I liked it
- Tangsuyuk portion was massive!
- Deepfried Dumplings had the perfect crunch
- Half/Half steamed dumplings, delicious!
*Although the Tangsuyuk sauce tasted great, the sauce was not thick and quite watery*“

“This place is niche: if you are adventurous, or enjoy organ meats, you will like this place. I came from the north part of China, and the organ stew had a very nostalgic taste and excellent texture. I liked they are doing something different with their rice. I also recommend the head cheese platter to go along with the stew.“

“Great spot for Korean food! The cold noodles were the highlight—probably the best I’ve had in the Lower Mainland. The spicy pork bibimbap was solid, and my wife rated the Gam Ja Tang 4/5. Side dishes were simple but tasty. We arrived around 7:30pm on a Friday and only had a short wait.“

“Coquitlam/Vancouver is incredibly lucky to have a food staple like Hee Rae Deung. When it comes to 불맛, portion size, and atmosphere, this place is simply unmatched. I genuinely felt like I was back in Korea.
Not only does everything taste phenomenal, but there’s something deeply satisfying about the sheer abundance of food that arrives at the table. Every dish is generous and packed with flavour.
1)Dumplings: unbelievably good. Juicy, crispy, bursting with flavour
2) Jjajangmyeon: rich, smooth, perfectly balanced.
3) Jjampong: smoky with incredible depth of flavour, loaded with seafood, and refreshingly not greasy or heavy.
4) Tangsuyuk: can’t praise this enough. The portion size is amazing, the crunch is crunchy, and the hint of lemon in the sauce was such a unique twist -not overly sweet and very addictive.
Overall, Hee Rae Deung delivers not only amazing food, but the comfort, nostalgia, and satisfaction of an authentic Korean dining experience. Thank you Hee Rae Deung“

“One of the best Korean fried chicken places in town. They fry your chicken right after you order so it's always fresh, crispy and juicy. However, ever since they added fried shrimp to their menu, I unfortunately cannot eat here anymore due to my shellfish allergy. They fry chicken and shrimp in the same fryer so there is a high risk of cross-contamination.“

“Absolutely delicious meat, and the free side dishes are a great addition. I went there for my birthday with my partner and I waited no time for a table. We ordered Combo B for 2 people and it was very filling and delicious. The servers were very polite and very attentive. I also loved the tea!!“
