“Best Chinese food in Maple Ridge! We ordered the Dinner for 3A + 2 egg rolls, everything arrived hot and tasted delicious. The sweet n sour pork was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, the pieces were not fatty at all and were still crispy in the sauce! The beef with vegetables are so good! Huge portions. Woking Dragon used to be our go to but Kitchen on the Ridge won us over.“

“Everything was delicious like always bbq pork, beef and broccoli with black bean, lemon chicken, and can’t forget them chicken balls, if you like a little spice the Singapore style chow mein will tickle those taste buds, the only thing I don’t recommend is the fried rice tasteless and dry but hey you can’t win them all“

“Been eating here for a solid 3 years, and I can say Kings Kitchen has the best Chow Mein in the city. All these sides I also ordered were bussin.“

“Place has not changed at all in 30 years or more. Menu or decor. Its amazing. Complete time capsule of western style chinese foods and done really well. Buffet has kept stride with inflation, glad it still exists. The menu you can order from has huge portions for reasonable money and its all really fresh since they are turning out for the buffet in small batches anyways. My go to for the chinese of my childhood.“

“My dad and I went there for lunch. The House Special Chow Mein was quite large for $16.99 and was flavourful and had shredded bbq pork, shrimp, and egg, etc. My dad is Cantonese and had been craving Chow Mein and this hit the spot for him. We also got the Ginger Soup Beef Vermicelli. I thought the bowl was small when it came out, however it was actually deeper than I was expecting and loads of noodles. The beef was velveted beef and it had some carrot, broccoli, and zucchini with it. The broth itself was light and subtle, tasting of fresh ginger and a hint of sesame oil. Due to how clear and subtle the broth is, I don’t feel guilty drinking it, like I would if it were heavily salty Pho broth (the soup at Ken’s is nothing like Pho, so don’t order it if that’s what you’re hoping to get). I almost finished all of the broth and had to take the leftovers home. When getting it to go, I was kindly given more broth to take home separately. A super nice bonus since I loved the lightness of the broth, and it was packed separately from the noodles so they wouldn’t get soggy. The place was tidy and clean and service was great. The music and volume of it made it feel quite trendy. I’m surprised it wasn’t busier as we went during lunch. I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu. I was told the soup can also be adjusted to not include sesame oil as well, so if told in advance, I believe they could accommodate allergies/food sensitivities since everything is made fresh.“

“I was worried because there were a lot of bad reviews these days, but I was very satisfied with the magnolia I visited after a long time.
The sweet and sour pork had a nice sweet and sour sauce that was faithful to the basics.
I also enjoyed the spicy fried rice.
And of course, Magnolia is Jjamppong. There is no need for this place. It is just a place to eat Jjamppong.
One of the most difficult foods to eat in Korea these days, the taste of Jjamppong is so fascinating.
To be honest, I personally think magnolia's weak point is the Jjajang sauce (a somewhat old style with a combination of saltiness and lightness).
Even if you order fried rice, the Jjajang sauce is not tasty?
it's okay. All you have to do is eat the Jjamppong soup.
Are you feeling greasy from eating too much sweet and sour pork?
it's okay. All you have to do is eat the Jjamppong soup.
Jjajangmyeon is a bit plain?
it's okay. You can just add some Jjamppong soup and mix it with the dish.
Personally, I prefer Jjajangmyeon, but at Mulan, I eat Jjamppong instead of Jjajangmyeon.
Everyone, please come and eat Magnolia Jjamppong.“

“The food was amazing, but we seemed to come at rush hour as the older one of our servers did not speak to us but rather rushed by and tossed menues on the table.
The boba and food were perfect and I particularly enjoyed the Kung pao beef.“

“Was decent Chinese food. I had the deep fried tofu, which could have been crispier, but was tasty. I appreciated that they also substituted their egg noodles for rice noodles in their mushroom chow mein, albeit for a nominal fee. The Buddha's feast was tasty, and veggies were cooked well.“
“That golden river is some good stuff, I ordered over the telephone the beef and green bean, the chicken balls, the sweet and sour chicken and the bbq pork, and ready in 15 min for pickup, cheap and good!! And no msg thirst afterwards. Eating Ming and sing is like eating from a dumpster compared to golden river express.“

“My daughter and I always come here to eat. The food is fresh, and the server Betty is the best. She's always smiling and so sweet. She makes the place sparkle with her zest. She should get a raise. She definitely deserves it. We love coming back and seeing her.“

“Came here for dinner with family last night. The food was excellent! The more senior servers did a great job and were friendly. The atmosphere was nice.
I believe one younger server was extremely new; running food to the wrong table, almost dropping dishes, forgetting to fill our tea pot after taking it away, and picking her ear while speaking with our table which was definitely not something you want to see from someone handling food. I hope she is provided proper coaching and training moving forward.“

“What we like about this place is each of us can get what we want. They have a nice build your own combo meal section. We don't need to order big plates of food and take the rest home like so many others.
Simple place with nice friendly staff“
