“I love Chicko Chicken. The locations are pretty consistent, too. Everything is cooked nicely. The fries taste good. Love the pickled radish. Minus 1 star because the green onions are not always fresh so I stopped ordering them. Other than that it's a solid place“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Amazing!
I recently visited Chikos Chicken in New Westminster, and I have to say – it’s hands down one of the best chicken spots I’ve ever been to! The chicken is incredibly fresh, crispy, and packed with flavour. You can really taste the quality in every bite.“

“I've frequented here many times now and I have to say its a great little gem hidden by Coscto! Hands down the best chicken burger, they give you a full breast and always fresh!
Pros
- Place is set back in the old era of time but sparkly clean
- Family run
Cons
- You don't come here for the ambience
If you're craving a fried chicken cooked to perfection every time, this is it. It's not your standard greasy oily burger either. Looks to be run by a Korean mom and her kids. You can tell, there's a lot of love put into frying!
Can't wait to come back!“

“Ordered a few takeaway bowls from this lovely Korean restaurant in Burnaby. My favorite was definitely the bulgogi bowl and the spicy pork bowl. They were super filling and tasty. I couldn’t finish it all.
Staff were really friendly and the service was great!“

“Absolutely delicious meat, and the free side dishes are a great addition. I went there for my birthday with my partner and I waited no time for a table. We ordered Combo B for 2 people and it was very filling and delicious. The servers were very polite and very attentive. I also loved the tea!!“

We’re proud to be the packaging and container supplier for 350*F Chicken. The owner is truly great — thoughtful, professional, and dedicated to quality. He invests wisely in premium packaging and presentation, which really shows his commitment to the brand. Wishing the team continued success — more to go!“

“I had one of the best mool naeng myun I have ever had in the Vancouver area at Cafe SoBahn. It did not have a meat slice, but who cares. The broth was close to perfection. Usually I drown the broth in vinegar and mustard, but not here.
The sign for the restaurant has a very hard to read font, very thin on a white background so it's easy to miss. I missed it. It is definitely more of a cafe than a restaurant, but boy that naeng myun was unbelievable“

“I had a great dining experience at Toedam Korean Fusion BBQ. The portions here are impressively generous, making it one of the best value Korean restaurants I’ve visited in Vancouver. Every dish came out flavorful, well-seasoned, and freshly prepared.
The spicy marinated crab was rich and bold, the pork hot pot arrived sizzling with tender meat and savory broth, and the tteokbokki had that perfect chewy texture with a satisfying level of heat. Even the side dishes were delicious and thoughtfully made—fresh, well-balanced, and constantly replenished.
What really stood out, aside from the food, was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed. The restaurant is clean, organized, and the ordering system is easy to use, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.
Overall, Toedam offers excellent flavor, large portions, and great service at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious Korean food with amazing value. I would definitely come back again! 🍲🔥“

“Decided to write the review while we're craving for their kimbap already. We stumbled upon this place yesterday while en route out of town and decided to give it a try — and we’re so glad we did! The kimbap here is absolutely delicious, made with super fresh ingredients, and the place seemed spotless, which really stood out to us.
We ordered Tteokbokki, Natto Roo kimbap, Chichi kimbap, and Skinny Elephant kimbap. Every kimbap was bursting with flavor, and the quality of the ingredients really made a difference. The Skinny Elephant kimbap was so refreshing — my personal favorite (if you love salad, you haveeee to try!). My husband couldn't get enough of the Chichi kimbap. We also tried their kimchi soup, and immediately thought this is perfect for cold days.
Although there's no dining area, this is the ideal spot for takeout. We're already countjng down the days until we're back in Vancouver to grab more.
--
Additionally tried their Lobster kimbap, Lemon Basil Chicken kimbap, Spicy Beef soup, and Miso soup. Fresh, Tasty, and Excelllleeeeent as ever!

Loving the bite-sizes even more!“

“Sooo delicious and wonderfully made. You will be surprised by the portions and variety on the menue. Never seen a place with such a good value for the price you pay. My wife and I eat two whole meals with icecream and drinks for around $25. It is amazing.“

“Not the first time here and wanted to try their other options.
Food honestly was surprisingly very good and price was acceptable especially the lunch set meal deal. Seafood pancake was bit more on the greasy side as the wax paper was drenched with oil. Overall a mid 4.
Service was pretty good for a solid 4 with nothing too outstanding.
The atmosphere was pretty good and it was not crowded or noisy. The individual washroom stalls were a surprise and extremely clean and well maintained. High 5 for atmosphere.
Definitely would consider revisiting again.“

“We have been waiting to try this spot out and finally had the chance to! Really good food, generous portions (although they seemed small, after eating we were very full) and priced reasonably. We had the tofu pocket and fried chicken lunch combos, highly recommend!“

“It's kinda expensive, but so are the rest of the restaurants. I got the chicken mayo for 16.5 (with tip), and I got a nice portion of food. The taste is okay for its price, but I don't think there're many other better alternatives around SFU. You get what you pay for: A fairly big portion of food with decent taste“

“I don’t often write reviews (I think I have 4 on my profile?) but in my opinion, this justifies a strong review.
Weekend craving for fried chicken hits, and the reviews looked good, 10 minute drive, so decided to try it out.
In short: SO good.
The pork belly bao was unnnnnnnreal, the soy garlic chicken was super tasty and the spicy chicken was solid.
Small location, seems like a family business (maybe mother and daughter?) who were both very friendly when I picked up the food and the food was ready in 10 minutes like they said.
Definitely coming back ?“

“Seen many Korean street side chicken places on You Tube. Decided to give this a try for the first time . Went to the location on Canada Way. Ordered the family Sweet Soy Chicken & Fries Took awhile to prepare the food (15 mins) No wonder ,huge amount of chicken box was packed full. Large pieces very flavorful, not greasy at all like Churches grease feast j chicken . Fries were amazing .I found a new go to place to buy chicken for a game . A tad pricey, buy I assure you very well worth the money . If this place franchises, they will give KFC & Churches very serious condition . My first time there , highly impressed. I highly recommended you try this. Will not be disappointed. Very pleasant staff. Simple decor, but the service & food will amaze you . Thank you so very much for an amazing meal. I will definitely will be returning . Added a picture, this is after 3 people eating Big pieces and loads left ... Go visit this place . You won't regret it !!!“

“Would give our vegan meal 5/5 stars if Happy Cow would allow it (only allowed for fully vegan places). Highly recommend trying their large vegan option menu. The bulgogi was sweet, savoury, smoky, and “meat”-y. Soy curls, peppers, onions, cabbage with rice, and saucy! The Kimbap was fresh and tasty. Both were large servings you can share easily. Our server was so kind and happy to hear we travelled far to visit Chibop. The owners have an interest in vegan cuisine. Support this place for offering not just one, but many vegan options. We will be back.“

“I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here.
I was in the area for a ride when I saw this restaurant was open, and decided to pop by for some food. The portions were great for the price and everything tasted amazing!
I ordered their signature clam bibimbap and their deep fried squid and fries. I wasn't too sure how I'd like the bibimbap (because honestly clams are overrated), but I really enjoyed the flavours here. It was even more elevated if you wrap it in seaweed with some side dishes. The squid was perfect as well, and the fries were crispy without being overcooked.
If you have a chance to visit and are craving some Korean cuisine, I would definitely stop by here.“

“ManRiJangSeong in Coquitlam offers authentic Korean-Chinese fusion cuisine in a cozy, family-friendly setting. Their signature dishes, including jjajangmyun, jjampong, and gganpoonggi, are prepared with care and bursting with flavor. The jjajangmyun features a savory black bean sauce with generous portions of meat and vegetables, while the jjampong boasts a spicy seafood broth filled with shrimp and mussels. The gganpoonggi offers crispy chicken coated in a sweet and tangy sauce with a hint of pineapple. Portions are generous, ensuring a satisfying meal for all. The friendly and attentive staff enhance the dining experience, making it a must-visit for Korean cuisine enthusiasts. Sorry for the pictures of half eaten dishes because they were too good to resist.“

“This is the best food establishment in all of Fleetwood - if you haven't tried it, you're seriously missing out! The food is always so fresh and packed with flavour. I love the tunamayo kimbap and the moon bibimbap - the portions are generous and very filling. The owner and staff are so kind and clearly put a lot of care into their cooking - it provides the same comfort as a homecooked meal. Don't hesitate to support this amazing family-run business ♡“

“First time my girlfriend and I experienced this place, to start off Andrew greeted us right away when we stepped in. He’s a super friendly guy that explain the whole menu to us including some of his recommendations which we went with, we got the combo B that included 2 boneless chicken flavours, and either fried squid or calamari. I ordered the hot devil flavour and he helped us out with the other, which was the original chicken with 3 different sides of sauce so we could sample each. I highly recommend ordering the fried squid over the calamari! Everything was great including presentation and a huge portion for your money. The course also included pickled radish and a corn slaw which is all done in house, we will definitely return next time to explore more of the menu, thanks again to Andrew for his customer service! He knows what’s up“

Price was good.
Service was pretty fast.
Staff was friendly and even tried to help with some of the ingredients (since my kids have some food allergies).“

“Their food and service were excellent.
However, the restaurant was so hot that I couldn’t really enjoy my meal.
I asked the server to turn on the air conditioning, but they told me it was already on. I was shocked.
They even brought me an ice pack and did their best, but I don’t think I could come back on a hot day.“

“I liked the plates and gold spoon because they were so luxurious.
Gamjatang was truly the most delicious Korean food I've ever had in Vancouver! The amount is huge!
The stone pot looks really pretty and tastes great, of course.
And the chicken is really the best 👍 They fry it really deliciously ㅜㅜ I heard the table next to me was eating pork cutlet and it looked really delicious.. Next time I will come to eat pork cutlet too.
Everyone, please come! I highly recommend it“

“This post is long overdue. Over the last 20 years, I have tried many pork bone soups, but Arirang has always been the one that hit home. Although I'm not Korean, seeing a tour bus full of Korean tourists enjoying their meals with happy faces speaks volumes about the authenticity and flavour of their soup. I’ve been ordering the same soup for many years, and the level of umami is indescribable. Their ribs are just meh; on par with food court quality, ok to skip. But their backbone soup is truly one of a kind. Oh the black cod is finger licking good too 🤤“

“Solid spot for fried chicken. I didn't really like the batter they used to fry the chicken though. Our group tried the creamy onion, cheese and chili flavored ones. I would probably come again if I am nearby.
-Creamy onion was the best one as it had a very yummy sauce that paired well with the chicken.
-The cheese one was alright I didn't really taste the cheese on it that much so it low-key just taste like og flavor fried chicken.
-I didn't really like the sauce for the chili flavor , there was just something off about the flavor.“

“Pretty good value and pretty ok food. I like their original Katsu, reminds me of home cooked Katsu which isn’t easy to make without making a mess. I will try their other menus as well. Last of all, good service by aunty. If you come to Henderson mall food court and feeling hungry, try Tokki for k food.
Parking: Easy to park at the mall unless rush hours.“

“Came in for Father's Day dinner. Luckily we made reservations early, there was a lineup when we left.
I ordered the soft tofu stew but got it without meat since I'm recovering from a surgery which they were able to accommodate me. They even came back to ask if I was okay with the egg and I said I am. Everyone in our group was happy with their food.“

“We recently visited this Korean restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere. The interior design, with its partitions between tables, gave a nice sense of privacy that made the dining experience more comfortable.
We ordered the beef intestine soup and the cold noodles. Both were flavorful and enjoyable. The soup came with plenty of ingredients, though the medium spice level felt a little mild; next time we’d probably go one step spicier. The cold noodles were refreshing and served in a generous portion, though it would have been even better with a few slices of meat or seafood added in.
The menu isn’t huge, but it does feature the beef intestine hot pot, which was exactly what drew us in. Since there were only two of us, we skipped the larger BBQ platters and went with single dishes, which worked out well. Overall, the flavors were solid, the portions fair, and the price very reasonable.
We’d rate the experience about 7/10. Definitely worth a try if you’re craving Korean comfort food, and we’d be happy to come back again.“

“I’ve been ordering Korean meals from Banchansu for a little over four weeks and it’s been amazing every time. I’m very picky, and my mom—born and raised in Korea—set a high bar for me, so I’m usually hesitant to order Korean food. Banchansu changed that. The flavors are authentic and delicious, and I look forward to every meal. The staff are caring and kind, too. Thank you for meals that taste like my mom’s cooking.“
