I simply have to share our fantastic experience with the Columbia Street Sandwich Company in New Westminster! When my son Adam got married on July 5th, we had a large wedding party staying at the Inn at the Quai, and the morning-of fueling was a top priority. We needed a vendor who could not only prepare delicious breakfast and lunch but also deliver it precisely on time to our hotel. And let me tell you, Sam, the owner, and her incredible team absolutely knocked it out of the park!

Breakfast was a dream come true for ten hungry people getting ready for the big day: a perfect combination of delicious breakfast sandwiches, fresh baked goods, a vibrant fresh fruit plate, and a carafe of piping hot coffee. The best part? Sam herself delivered it right on schedule!

Lunch was equally impressive, featuring a delightful mix of mini croissant sandwiches, a hearty veggie plate, and a refreshing assortment of water and juices to wash it all down. And again, delivered on time by Sam!

Beyond the fantastic food, the value for dollars spent was truly exceptional. Sam was the epitome of professionalism, never once trying to upsell us or push for more than we needed. She genuinely cared that everything went smoothly, and it absolutely did.

“First time having really great tasting food at a cafe (mango wrap). The dirty chai was also spectacular ! Close to Douglas campus and New West skytrain station. It's operated fully by the owner and their partner that tend to lots of customers daily. I'll definitely make sure to come by more often. “Authentic Northern Chinese hand pulled/cut noodles. We ordered a spicy cold noodle and an order of pork and vegetable dumplings (SUPER JUICY), the portions were pretty big and the price is reasonable. Family run restaurant with a lot of options. Will definitely come back again. We wish we had more time and people with us so we could have ordered MORE.

Went in for a quick dinner before a movie next door with...30min to spare. Mentioned that while ordering and they were very nice to accommodate and speed up the service.“

“Genuinely a hidden gem here in New Westminster. I went with my mother on a random Wednesday noon and honestly I can’t wait to go back already. The place is ran by a lovely couple who are both super duper sweet. The food portion is absolutely humongous. We ordered a 3 roll combo and the sashimi combo B and could not finish both of them (we probably only finished half of each), andddd you get free hot tea (I love their tea).

The price is more than fair for the amount of food you get especially for sushi in my opinion. Would love for this place to stay around for as long as they can so please check them out if you’re ever in the area :)

Wasin( not sure about the spelling) who serves us was really kind and friendly, he recommended good things and take care the whole dining time if we need something. The food was really wonderful at all time i have tried other thai restaurants! We had shrimp pad thai , chicken tom yum fried rice and papaya salad. All are perfect taste and we would love to have papaya salad more spicy ( may be next time order the spicier one). And i had the coconut mini glutinous rice ball dessert for to go, the mochi balls are so chewy and the coconut milk taste is very perfect and matching! We really had a great time and will definitely come back next time!“

I see what people say about staff, this time they were pretty clueless and not really helpful. Again didn't get to try Pizza, maybe next time but Ice Creams just as good as remembered. Sweet tangy pink grapefruit felt like eating crushed frozen fruit and Chocolate like a melted frozen chocolate, Scrumptious! Staff couldn't have been more pleasant. They do not do tastings, probably to much trouble when busy but do other food places??? Of course not. Maybe could do an after you pay, try a couple? Anyway great Icecream

The place which i have visited for pizza is very amazing . Mainly i want to talk about the custom service which is very amazing. “Kamal” who is very kind hearted and her customer service is uncountable also i want to mention that her employees behaviour for customers is very better than other shops. Apart from that the food is good and they are making it with in a minute the pizza, the food service is much faster as compared to other once.
