“One of my favorite places to get rice rolls! I always add an egg to mine. it makes them so fluffy and soft. I bring my friends and family here whenever they visit.

It’s located inside the Richmond Public Market Mall, and it can get very busy, especially during peak hours. The wait times can be long, but trust me. it’s totally worth it. They also have their own packaged soy sauce and hot chili oil, which is a must have combo for your rice rolls.“

“i’m giving the soy sauce chicken 豉油雞 5 stars alone!! it’s tender and flavourful. haven’t had soy sauce chicken this good here. the broccoli is crispy and the green beans the same. portion is very generous as others have mentioned. i personally prefer this one to the one on the opposite side as the latter is stronger on the salt but you can decide for yourself. i can’t wait to try the deep fried squid!! 😋 this price for this quality is insane! ordering is as usual a bit chaotic though not for the indecisive ones haha (which is me)“

“I was passing Vancouver in transit on 20th July ,stayed overnight and went to the restaurant for having and taking away some chicken pieces for Saint John. NB as there was no P in Saint John. The girl at the counter was so courteous and very customer friendly .The service was very fast. Tray wasn't even cleaned properly. Was greasy when I went to pick it up.

Luckily I asked for fresh fries or would have gotten stale fries like my chicken.

Strange place for it to be the best. Inside the shopping mall Aberdeen Mall food court. But it’s the truth, you won’t find better chicken wings anywhere.

I’ve never tried anything else on their menu and don’t intend to. I believe the majority of bad reviews are based on its name “dessert house” and the other offerings.

It’s a bit of a wait because it’s cooked fresh but well worth it.“

“I recently visited this New York Fries location and had an amazing experience. I ordered the Truffle Fries with extra cheese sauce, and they were hot, fresh, and loaded generously — no skimping at all.

The cashier who took my order stood out the most. Even with his mask on, he was friendly, engaging, and had a positive attitude that really made the visit enjoyable. It’s rare to see that kind of genuine service these days.

“The chicken, fires, and gravy are all Excellent! KFC style but so much better! So much better! Chicken is so tasty and not greasy. Fries are fairly thick cut, perfect for dipping in the slightly peppery gravy. I've only tried one of the salads once and it was better than the 2 national brands you can get in the grocery store. This is pretty much a walk-up/take out restaurant (especially since covid--no eat-in anymore). I've only seen the same two people working there all these years. Brother/sister or husband/wife, I assume? They are hard workers putting in long hours 7 days a week. No money has been spent on the "dining room" or menu boards. LOL. They take cash and debit (credit??). Their debit machine has no tap function and is dial up so you need your PIN and a bit of patience. That is also way phone calls don't go through. I have never tried to pre-order by phone. Usually only takes about 10 min to get your order anyway. Can't recommend them enough. When family/friends come into town, I try to make sure we get LA Chicken for them while they are here.“

Amaaaazing. So juicy and savory. Hard to go wrong with dumplings, but these are more flavorful and juicy. It's just a perfect balance of savory, acidity and heartiness. Onions, soy sauce, pork stock, maybe cooking wine... all the good stuff. Crispy pan fried bits too.

Yes, I do recommend. I think I like them even more than Baozi Master at Yaohan.

“This is one of our regular spots for fast food burgers. We'll drive across town to come here. The staff are friendly and efficient, which makes the whole experience smooth. My child absolutely loves the free peanuts while we wait for our order. He could probably fill up on those alone.

The burgers are solid. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and you can customize them however you want. You can even ask for extra bacon and there's no additional cost! The fries come in those huge portions that always seem like too much but somehow we manage to finish them. The prices aren't cheap, but given the quality and size, it feels reasonable compared to other places.

The location can get busy during dinner. Sometimes the wait is a bit longer than you'd expect for fast food, but the staff handle the rush pretty well. One thing that can be frustrating is when you order multiple items for different people, the food isn't always clearly marked, so you have to figure out which burger is which.
