The service is exceptionally warm and attentive, making the whole dining experience very enjoyable and memorable.“

“I dined here for lunch a few days ago with some friends. We ordered different pasta dishes to share and we all ate the matcha tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Noodles were cooked perfectly, and all the sauces had the right amount of seasoning (nothing was lacking or overpowering the dish). The dessert was very tasty and not super sugary as other desserts can be.

Since this was during the lunch time rush, the restaurant was fully seated with people waiting for a table. The service was quick and attentive. Our water was refilled and the server made sure to check on us and how our meal was. We did not feel rushed nor ignored.

I feel the owner and the staff have corrected a lot of the concerns it seems people have had with negative reviews. This is now one of my favourite restaurants in Richmond and I will be coming back many more times.“

The broth was legit amazing and way better than all the other local pho joints and came with a decent amount of meat (2x what's shown in my photo - I already started eating before I remembered to take the photo). I'm a big eater and still struggled to eat 2/3 of it. In the end I had 1/3 of the gigantic large size left. The staff are all Vietnamese. The only drawback is that there's only paid street parking in the area.“

“We were here on a rainy Monday afternoon, and it was great that we didn’t need to wait to be seated. There is complimentary fruit dices and sunflower seeds while we were waiting. We ordered rabbit and chicken offals, and both of them were super numbing and spicy, and of course, tasty. The waiter was super attentive, get clean plates and add water before we even asked. Sadly we drove all the way from Calgary here and we can’t come and eat often, but definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes authentic Szechuan food!“

“Our regular birthday cake go to bakery unfortunately closed so I searched for another that had good reviews on a Black Forest cake... Diplomat popped up and was close to work, a definite plus. Ordered one over the phone for the next day, which they were able to do! a plus plus😅 So without knowing what to expect other than the good reviews the friendly lady working the counter handed me the cake and my first thought was, WOW this weighs a tonne!! It was their smallest cake at 7 inches for 8-10 slices. I was now anticipating what it tasted like and when we did... WOW!! a very decadent interpretation of a classic. One of the layers was silky chocolate mousse laced with brandied cherries along with dark moist cake layers and fresh whipped cream then finished nicely with dark cherry halves on the top. It was DEVINE. A big thank you to Diplomat Bakery and it's very capable bakers, can't wait to try their other vast offerings in the future. They may be a little out of the way for some but well worth the effort getting there so don't hesitate, it'll be well worth it!!!“

“Chanced upon this beautiful, cozy cafe at Brighouse. The service and ambiance were wonderful. I ordered an iced hojicha oat latte and ube loaf, both of which tasted delicious! While I like my hojicha latte sweeter, it was definitely made of high quality ingredients. The ube loaf is a must order too! It had a strong ube flavour, vibrant colour, and was deliciously soft. I'll be back to try more.“

I ended up with the beef mushroom and because I got the large, I got an egg. There was so much food I had to save it for the next day! “My family and I have come here once and it was great honestly a great experience, staff is wonderful, food was amazing also but we haven’t returned as they DON’T advertise that their meat is halal and we had to find that out ourselves upon writing this review.

Sadly not everyone is comfortable eating halal as it goes against their moral values.
It would be nice to have signage specifically saying this on your menu as we wouldn’t have ordered in the first place, hence the 4 star review.“

“So many options to pick from! And the perfect place to work at/study/meet a friend as the place is nice and quiet. I walked in for a coffee - only to be met with SO many options of drinks, yoghurt, actual coconut shell drinks, etc. I chose their yoghurt + strawberry drink and it is SO good - not too sweet! (Apparently it’s very popular too) The owner told me he makes the yoghurt himself!

The seats are literal armchairs so be ready to be comfy :) I’ll be coming back“

After I paid I noticed there was a QR code to join and earn points, so I scanned it and realized I had joined the rewards program before and asked the lady if I could get the points on the amount I just spent. Another lady named Alice, was able to help me and good thing too as it was 300 points that I had earned! Also I changed my mind after I had paid already, to add grass jelly to the roasted milk tea and said I would pay for it but the lady Alice said it was ok. Such great customer service from Alice! “After seeing all the reviews I decided to give them a try. Their BBQ meats are topped notch and tasted great, but they are overpriced. There are other BBQ places in Richmond that is just as good and not as expensive.
If I was in the area shopping and have a craving, I will most likely go back, but it's not a restaurant that I would go out of my way to visit“

“Came back to this little spot inside Lansdowne food court today. We ordered noodles and some potstickers to go, and halfway through our meal, one of the staff came by and surprised us with a second box of potstickers — they said the first batch didn’t meet their standards and they wanted to do better. I didn’t even notice anything wrong, but the gesture really stood out. Just tried the potstickers at home — not sure which batch they were from, but they were juicy, crispy, and totally hit the spot. It’s rare to see that kind of pride in quality these days. Will definitely be back.“

If you're here for authentic food that's actually second to none you've found a Shanghainese gem. Selfishness hopes that you all don't really digest my review. They don't have that many tables and I would like to make sure mine is still available 😜

Rolled rice sheet with fish filling : great! Unlike the more common choice of rolled rice sheet with fish paste, this dish has fish pieces and no deep frying involved.

Fried rice with diced chicken and salted fish: Great! Good portion.

Overall, I have reservation on the quality of their bamboo tray steamed dim sum. I appreciate the flavour in their made-to-the-order items. I had dinner here on the past and I remember it was very flavourful, and they have very attentive servers.“

They offer 20% off for the dim sum and free tea in the morning until 11am Monday to Friday. This is a good deal if you can go in the morning. There are plenty of free parking too.
Since the restaurant is big, sometimes you may find no enough staff there.
The price is reasonable and food is quite good. They have some promotion combo and special price in lunch time.
