“Dachi has really formed this beautiful community on their corner at Hastings and Garden. Lovely folks, pouring beautiful wines alongside creative and delicious food. The food has always been good, with tiny artisan farm produce being the focus. I love the current interpretations of Korean and other flavours by chef Jiwon Seo and her team. Service is personal and friendly, from true pros. The wines are curated, with a strong emphasis on top quality natural producers from around the globe. There is always something interesting to drink and the team is happy to surprise you with a new favourite. Much respect. (Also, shoutout to one of the only patios I like in the city.)“

My friend and I sat at the bar, and despite the basketball theme, the staff was kind enough to switch a TV to the Canucks game for us, which was a thoughtful touch. We took full advantage of the all-day happy hour—amazing deals and delicious drinks. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. “Shayla, our server, was absolutely amazing! She explained the menu thoroughly and made excellent recommendations that we were glad to try. The entire experience was exceptional, and the food was perfect from start to finish.We had the red wine braised short rib of beef from Double R Ranch — it melted in my mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We started with the scallops and smoked bison tartare, both of which were outstanding.For other mains, we enjoyed the wood grilled lamb, the Hank tenderloin steak, the Wagyu beef picanha from Brant Lake Farm in Alberta, Blue Dot Beef in Prince Edward Island striploin (10 oz). They were all amazing. The Blue Dot had incredible flavor — juicy, tender, and hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Every steak was beautifully cooked and packed with flavor.We finished the evening with trying ALL THE DESSERTS! The baked Alaska was beautiful and delicious! The ice cream trio was so creamy and rich. The creme brûlée was smooth and dreamy. The chocolate cake was moist and perfectly matched with the passionfruit sauce. The fam favorite was definitely the cheesecake… we were all wanting it! Perfect flavor not too sweet and very smooth. Blackberries were a perfect match. We also had the donuts.. don’t forget about those. Im still dreaming of them. Highly recommend — a truly unforgettable meal!“

Atmosphere is great. Comfortable and not smoky or u feel I have to change cloths right afterward
They do have a locker for guest to use to store your stuff which is great.
High end decoration with few table serving 4-6 guests, a semi private partitioned table for somen privacy if needed
We sit at the U shaped bar table where each guest have their own bbq set. Pretty good and clean.
Staff a very nice and helpful and explain each steps needed and even help u cook if needed

We are here on a week day dinner and not busy. Heard they are always full in weekend so plan ahead

One thing is they told us that after 8pm each night it’s happy hour where the food have special pricing discount like 50% off or buy 2 get 1 free, even for drinks.

Food are top quality beef and no don’t they are best meet from Japan

We ordered the biggest plate for sharing and it’s pretty enough for us. For some heavy eater, I guess can order a plate for 2 people and order other side dishes

“We had a wonderful dining experience at Croquette Brasserie. Our waiter was both helpful and charming, adding a personal touch to the evening. We started with the moules-frites, sharing the mussels and fries as an appetizer. The dish was outstanding—perfectly cooked mussels paired with crisp, golden fries. For our main course, we chose pasta sourced from their sister restaurant, Fiore Famiglia, which happens to be our long-time favorite neighborhood Italian spot. As expected, the pasta was impeccable, showcasing the quality and flavors we’ve come to love. A special highlight was the crème brûlée, torched at our table by the waiter. Watching the caramelized sugar form into a crackling, golden crust was such a treat, and the result was as delicious as it was entertaining. The ambiance was made even better by live music from "Van Django," an incredible violin and guitar duo. Their lively and romantic performance elevated the evening to something truly magical. We tried the Little Italy In Oaxaca, Margarita Jardinera, Woodpecker, and the Purple Flame (check the video to see them torching the garnish, so cool!). The talent behind the bar is just next level. They mentioned they mostly get busy when the Orpheum has a show, but that’s freakin crazy!!! These guys deserve to be slammed EVERY night. Cocktail that actually tastes like art, you need to be here. 10/10, no notes!“

“Awesome find in Tsawwassen- definitely recommend checking out if you are a Greek food lover! A lot closer if you live south of the Fraser compared to other Greek places in Vancouver or beyond. Roast lamb dinners were delicious. Large portions of meat and sides. The potatoes were super lemon-y, which I love! We also ordered a dolmathes appetizer which was great.“

“We haven't been here in several years and decided to drop by for brunch. . The service and food was fantastic. One of the few spots we know of that has a happy hour starting at 2 ! .
We had their pizza Americano, Pasta and Beef Carpacio served with fabulous warm flat bread.
Honestly the best Carpaccio we have had in Vancouver and tastiest Pizza (double cheese and pepperoni) and spaghett served perfectly el dente.
Service was impeccable and we finished with great cappuccino (not machine made and beats any of the local corporate coffee spots).
Parking very convenient underground with an elevator to street level next to their front entrance.
Bravo.

“My boyfriend an I were looking for a place to dine while walking around Gastown when we came across Al Porto. We entered and where greeted by the waiter SIXTO. He made us feel very welcomed and took care of us. We had the lasagna which was excellent and the calamari which we found to be very chewy and tough. Not properly prepared. We ordered Molson Canadian beer and where told that we don’t carry it. SIXTO recommended we try The Kokanee beer which was comparable. We where offered the dessert menu but declined and had another Kokanee. Overall experience was good with exceptional service from our waiter. Will defiantly return to this restaurant next time we are visiting Vancouver.“
