“We visit Alpina restaurant fairly regularly and have always had a great meal and always exceptional service. Yesterday day however on our way back from a stressful day dealing with a family situation involving an ambulance, hospital and an assisted living facility we stopped in for a meal. Our server , I believe her name was Kayla , could tell we were a bit out of sorts and promptly took our orders for food and drink. Food was of course spot on and as we were dinning and Kayla checked in and chatted with us throughout our stay, she learned of the day we had. When we were done and I asked for the check Kayla gracefully said that the restaurant had looked after our bill. Both my wife and daughter started to cry , as they were emotional already but the act of kindness that was shown towards us was so welcome that they were overcome with both happiness and sadness. We have been in the restaurant business for almost 40 years and I can only hope that our employees would act the same as Kayla and the management of Alpina. Thank you. You made a miserable day bearable. 🥲🥰

The food was amazing, staff were so friendly and the whole process was so organized during this difficult COVID restriction. “My wife and I love the Cow Bay view from booths, and overall restaurant ambiance, but it is the food that brings us back. Seafood Linguini, and the Katsu Bowl are favourites. In fact, we’ve just done take out orders of 2 Katsu Bowls, 2nd time in a week. This is a most excellent taste sensation, a combination of Thai (peanut & coconut) Japanese (Katsu crispy chicken) and creamy chow mein noodles with veggies. Try It! Yummy!“
