“We had the pleasure of eating at Four Mile Brew Pub on Sep 2nd, 2024. We were visiting Victoria on a Cruise Ship and a local couple picked this establishment for lunch along with another local couple. The food and service were outstanding, and the building is beautiful inside and out. We ate in the pub area and really enjoyed the experience. The manager really came thru, though. When paying a card case dropped to the ground and we didn't notice it. The manager found it, and seeing a California phone number called and got the house sitter who gave the Cruise Ship information, and then let us know. The manager dispatched an employee to return the card case. The house sitter let us know and we were able to talk to the manager and since the employee was on the way, we were able to meet him and retrieve the case. High praise to the staff! Thanks!“

“Beautiful wood interior with cozy corners high ceilings and a classic vibe. Tables aren't close together, and the little stage featuring live music was just loud enough. I loved it! Service is excellent. Specialty drinks were unique and well executed. Food was generous in size and flavorful. I will go back!“

“I’ve stopped in a few times with my husband when we are on long walks to get the beer and hotdog special that runs until 5pm. The service is always excellent, extensive beer selection with something for everyone. The hotdog is a good size and really delicious. Atmosphere is excellent and it’s usually not too crowded. Really nice pub experience.“

“This place was cozy and delightful. Service was great, we had the Sunday roast dinner that starts at 3pm for $30 and it was quite good. The roast was actually delicious and Yorkshire pudding was almost as good as the last roast I had in Manchester. We tried the 4 course and the salad was lovely but didn’t love the cheesecake. GREAT gin menu. We just missed happy hour sadly but overall surprisingly wonderful experience for a place that kind of looks touristy from the outside.

“Arguably the best pub in Victoria. No pretentious atmosphere, just a good inviting atmosphere with a lovely staff and delectable food. My wife and I frequent here for a perfect pub meal. From a simple basket of 10/10 French fries to finger licking a good plate of wings, all the appetizers hit the spot! My favorite is the nachos, finally a pub that doesn't cheap out on the toppings! The mains also do not disappoint! Huge fish & chips with a golden crispy batter. ?“

Menu selection for the latter venue seems static across the years hence when informed that there’s something new, I dashed to the phone to make a reservation.The experience this Wednesday at lunch in the main dinning room didn’t disappoint. Special menu item chicken breast covered in tarragon sauce with mashed potato, mushrooms, and veggies on the side is one Ill recommend to others if I ever see it available again.I think members are smart to utilize this versatile facility. This place could be for business meetings or discussions, social events, or as own reading lounge. The only tricky aspect about dinning here is staffing.“

“Never went here before last night but was really impressed by the food service and atmosphere. We had a party of 10 for a family Christmas dinner and it was amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. First we had Sesame Ginger Gyoza and the Calamari and Chicken wings for appetizers which started our night really well. Followed by an assortment of entries including the Hollywood Burger Steak Frites the Szechuan Beef Noodle Bowl and the #28 Dragon Bowl. Each of these entries were all delicious. Then we had the desserts which were the Key Lime Pie and the Oreo cheesecake which both were very delicious. This place checked all the boxes. Service to Friendly staff to exceptional food. They can serve a small party of 2 to a party of 10 without a sweat. We are making this place our place not only for a place for Christmas gatherings but a fun place to go for dinner and drinks and lunch every day of the week. I am really looking forward to trying more items of their menu in the near future“
