“I had the Bangkok bowl with sautéed shrimp and it was fantastic. Happy hour prices from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. We hit this at the perfect time. Super friendly and beautiful staff.“

“The food was really good, the taste was exceptional. Our server, whose name escapes me was very attentive, interesting, and fun. My down side of our lunch was that the room was ice cold, and I wore my coat the whole meal. It is the middle of October and the weather was really rainy and cold. We avoided dessert and went next door to the Red Lion where we sat by the roaring fire and thawed out! Also, for the high end price of the pasta dish, it would have been lovely to include a small salad, or even a slice of bread.“

“Excellent location. Warm, inviting atmosphere. Excellent staff from the greeter to the seater to the kitchen and serving staff. Food is excellent and served hot and tasty. Our server, Yasmin S. was professional, friendly, helpful and listened well. She offered good suggestions and catered to our every need. Made my friend’s birthday lunch very enjoyable for both of us. The Park Royal location is great and we’ve never been disappointed by eating there. The staff, food and atmosphere are lovely.“

“I had a small party of 30 hosted on the mezzanine at the Watson. Service was 10/10, food was great, drinks were great as usual, and everyone had an amazing time. Mike and Sean were easy to work with to coordinate the event, and the price was very reasonable. I strongly recommend the Watson for any future events.“

“They have so many unique cocktails to choose from! I obviously ended up getting a mezcal-based drink, and it was smoky, smooth, and beautifully golden. I asked for no cherry, but it came with one anyway. I went with it because its flavour wasn’t strong. Not sure if the server was busy or just a bit impatient while we ordered, but oh well. I’ll definitely be back to try something new!“

“A great find, once you find it ! Somewhat like a 'Speak Easy' of old. Even after you find the front door, you have to persevere a bit to go in and down the a very unique venue. Was too early for live music, so will have to go back and check it out.“

“We had their Dine out menu and surprisingly the food was great with great value and portion. We also ordered a Caesar salad and truffle fries to share. They were excellent! Great ambience, great service, great live music performance. Definitely will go back again.“

“One of my favorite things to explore are fun speakeasies. It feels that Vancouver is limited in that.
So when I entered into Bagheera and was expected to produce a secret code to enter then I was pretty excited for how my time spent there would be.
Bagheera is a pretty fun space with stories for each of their beverages and also their ambience. The drinks were fairly delicious and extremely reasonable during the happy hour (10 dollar cocktails).
The food was quite good but don't expect to be filled up as the portions are more snack size.
Altogether I plan to come back especially as I learnt at the end of our experience they have bottles of gin marinating in various levels of salt water.“

“A favourite bar in Vancouver for light snacks & aperitifs. Barra 41 is the bar attached to Minerva's Greek restaurant (which has been around forever) and serves the same great quality food from it's kitchen. All the food & beer on tap is good, and you can also order from the restaurant menu. The atmosphere & service of this bar takes Barra the next levrl. Highly recommended and worth the trip to karisdale. Happy hour specials are offered daily from 3 - 5 PM.“
