“I was pleased with my visit to Thaigo in the Park Royal shopping center. I ordered tom yam, it was light, not spicy, lots of vegetables and shrimp. I needed a little heat and some coconut milk or cream. But overall the soup was good.
I also liked that this place has an open kitchen and it doesn’t look like fast food at all. The soup was prepared right in front of me. The kitchen is clean and the cook seemed very neat.“

“Super delicious food and amazing service, very thoughtful regarding allergies as well. The food and service were so good that my friend ate his entire bowl even though he was full as not to look as if he didn’t like his ramen!!!
The broth is super creamy! Free spicy option as well and inexpensive refill.

“Friend brought me there for a casual dinner. Delighted by the of cherry blossom decoration inside. A big shout out to the great customer service from two young ladies.
A good spot for a taste of traditional Chinese noodle that has been around for hundreds of years. I personally would prefer beef slice in the noodle instead of chunk though, but overall a good experience.“

“Authentic flavors. Great spice on the spicy dishes. The noodles are made to order and the kitchen is small so can be a bit slow. Dishes are large and priced accordingly. If you like spice the 大盘菜 is great with thinly sliced pork belly. Would not recommend thE 韭菜盒子 minimal filling and slightly flaky dough just doesn't taste right to me.“

“I think this place is considered to be the best ramen place in Vancouver. I went to the Robson location, and the line up was crazy long.
There are two options for ramen; either you get the tonkotsu pork broth base or the vegan broth base. I got the negi-goma ramen for $13.95, which is stronger in flavour due to the added sesame (don't think that belongs in Hakata ramen, but whatever) and scallions, and I also think it has more lard / richness. I added a soft-boiled egg for $2.
I thought the noodles looked appetizing, and I think it’s good too. However, I think I’m just not a fan of tonkotsu ramen / Hakata ramen / Fukuoka ramen.“

“True authentic Chinese wonton. Spicy but couldn't eat enough! 3 servings! It's known for its beef soup, but we had those wonton/dumplings. It's in top 5 on Google. Don't expect too much of atmosphere. Just the food. No alcohol on menu“

“Ramen Kounotori is a good choice for late late sunny afternoons or even early evenings for the following reasons: the high ceilings, the beautiful decor, the mixture of post modern chic tones of concrete, pastel, wood, and blue. It’s a mixture of a warm and cool, postmodern vibe. The ramen is tasty, up until now the first three choices have been savoured with relish and delight. Service is most charming accompanied by smiles, good wishes & pleasant sounding nihon-rhythmic flourishes. At the end of the week, and later in the evenings, the café is well attended. Ramen here can be well appreciated on a cold fall day, but no less during the rest of the year with any weather.“

“This is seriously good ramen!! I had the black ramen (chicken broth with extra fresh garlic!!). The broth is rich and flavourful. And the egg is incredibly good! Great unique flavour and texture of yolk. Totally worth the trip to international village just to eat it! Would love to see this guy in his own shop one day ❤️
Parking: Free parking in the mall car park up to 2 hours“

“After a long search of best Thai soup in Vancouver, I found this little gem. The chicken coconut soup was absolutely
amazing! Comes with a juicy, flavourful chicken leg. Exceptional service was a plus. When I splashed soup on my white shirt, she was quick to arrive with a tide stain remover pen. And a remark of how common it happens. You really get into your soup, because it’s irresistible. Loved the selection of homemade hot sauces.“

“Stopped in late last night before closing, the server was all by herself and she was basically running the whole time working so hard! Watched her have to deal with and be lectured by an alcoholic, extremely entitled woman who was angry that they shut the kitchen down and couldn’t order any more food at closing time- which most people with a brain would understand. I felt so bad for the server but she did an amazing job!! Perfect place for a late night meal:)“

Our experience was so enjoyable from start to finish in all aspects with a lively vibe, delicious food and staff's bubbly energy which is some of the best I've been around. “Hands down some of the best Chinese food in Vancouver! The amount of flavor they pack in each dish is unreal. I’d highly recommend trying their Tan Tan Noodle, Spicy & Tangy Dumplings, Eggplant with chili & garlic and the fried green beans. Each dish was incredible with very generous serving sizes! The service was also very quick here.“

“I loved this Pokerrito location! The space is modern, spacious, and clean. The menu is displayed on sleek screens, making it easy to read and understand how to build your own pokerrito, bowl, or dish. There's plenty of seating and paid street parking available. Unfortunately, the 'rice printer' malfunctioned, which caused a delay in my order, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food tasted great, although they were out of avocado that day. Every ingredient felt fresh and delicious.“

“As I was looking for something different while visiting here in Vancouver, I ran across Cambie Vietnamese Restaurant yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. My lunch special was 2 porkchops, with 2 crispy spring rolls, salad, and rice. Additionally I ordered a mago shake/smoothie. All the food was excellent and prepared perfectly. Service was prompt and friendly and the restaurant has a warm and pleasant atmosphere. There is also outdoor seating available.
I returned this evening and enjoyed crispy spring rolls and fried calamari rings. If you ever had to chew tough calamari then this was NOT the case. My calamari was tender and tasty!
My conversation with one of the owners, Winston, was relaxed and friendly, confirming to me that this family restaurant should be highly recommended. I will be back when I visit Vancouver again!“

“Clean salad bar! Has fun options. My favourite is the crab salad. For the most part every time I come back I spend less than $10 and can still get full.
They do this thing where you guess the weight of your bowl and if you guess exactly, it’s free!!“

“There is no competitor in Vancouver you can get handmade noodle and soup from the scratch under $10. Brisket was perfect and you can ask for lean meat. Noodle refill was $1.5? Per. It felt almost free. Some fried dishes are tough to chew as it won't cut well in your mouth. The Services....are sometimes non exist, but hey, we get the same services in most noodle places and this place is at least a lot cleaner. One sharble washroom might be a cons. Still the best udon in Vancouver!!“

“Came for the first time on St. Patrick’s Day. I ordered ramen and requested to remove veggies. I tried Yokohama Iekei Ramen & Karaage on my first time here. I ended up eating karaage without dipping the tartar sauce because it was better without any sauce.“

“We ordered the dan dan noodles (spicy), fried bean-paste noodles, and wontons in chili sauce. I had high expectations for the fried bean-paste noodles and wontons, but surprisingly, the dan dan noodles ended up being our favorite. I’m usually not a big fan of dan dan noodles, but these were very creamy, nutty, and moreish! They weren’t spicy for us, though.
The lady who took our order seemed a bit concerned that two of us were ordering three dishes, but I didn’t find the portion sizes overly large—three dishes were just right without making us feel too full.
Overall, I really enjoyed their food and would love to come back to try other dishes.
One thing to note: they only accept cash, not even debit, so come prepared!“

“Spend long time Analyzing restaurant on google map and found this place. It didn’t disappoint me. The Bread, Siumai and noodles are really good. The ingredients are fresh and athletic. Had a chat with the owner, she told me the vegetable in the bread was shipped from China and it was grown on someone backyard. I can tell they have a passion on making good food. I would love to visit again next time in Vancouver.“

“Ever since I was a child, I’ve seen this restaurant and always wondered how it was. I would bus to school and stand at the bus stop right infront of the restaurant not knowing the gem that was behind me. Fast forward MANY years later and I finally tried it. And the regret I had of not coming sooner hit me. I feel like I wasted so much time trying other Chinese restaurants. Because this to me is my favourite Chinese restaurant and it’s not even close. I’ve been a regular ever since the day I tried it. I highly reccomend it to anyone. Typically at other restaurants I’m scared to try other items on the menu that I normally don’t get. But here at Wo’s I haven’t had a bad experience with any item on the menu. Everything literally tastes amazing. Wo’s is the restaurant I recommend to everyone when they want Chinese food!“

“I had a very pleasant dining experience here. The handmade noodles were exceptional, full of flavor and texture. The restaurant had a bright yet cozy vibe, with a local, authentic feel. The staff were kind and tried their best to assist with a smile, even if their English was limited—which, in my experience, often means the food is the real deal, and it definitely was. Prices are also very reasonable. I'd say, come try their noodles—they’re really good!“

“Ramen Danbo is one of the best ramen spots in the city, and glad to see the expansion to Kerrisdale.
The staff are always super friendly, the food is consistently great, and the prices are hard to beat. There’s lots of parking nearby, and the rewards program actually adds up fast, which is a nice bonus.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or settling in for dinner, this place always delivers.
One of my favourite and most affordable go-to spots in the city.

“We often drive up from Seattle to Vancouver for the purpose of eating GOOD Chinese food. Today we went to Noodle Arts for the first time and OMG.....I'm in love and might have to just move here!!!! We are vegetarian and they were very accommodating with many choices on the menu. The hand-pulled MADE TO ORDER Dan Dan noodles were out of this world and you get to choose the diameter of the noodles you'd like. We chose the thickest (5mm) and they were so fresh and chewy. I was in culinary heaven. The sauce the noodles were in was divine. We also ordered Spicy Salted Tofu and the portion was immense. The tofu was fried but very dry and not oily at all. For dessert we order the red bean pancake and it was not great and very oily. The woman who waited on us was very friendly and helpful. Even the tea was yummy. Can't wait to go again!“

“This place is known for one thing only.
The bun bo hue. Upon entering it's nothing fancy, which is fine. You get a small menu, very simple. I opted to try their famous bbh. I was feeling tired so I got the viet ice coffee.
BBH comes and wow, pretty good. The only downside for me is that the broth could've been hotter. It's not as spicey as I thought it would be, but that's fine, they gave chili's on the side. The iced coffee done to standard, delicious.
Service is well... standard but that doesn’t discourage me. They weren't rude. I'll definitely come back if I crave bbh. It’s a great find!“

Also has good ice cream.“

“PROS:Have really on tried the spicy beef noodle soup, bbq pork fried rice, duck fried rice, and spicy won tons. They all have been tasty or satisfactory. No complaints in the taste department from me.CONS:I used to eat here twice a week at least when they had the 10% off when ordering online, but since the removal, I have eaten there a few times since last year. The price is similar to restaurant food, so a bit expensive considering it is food court food. Maybe this is due to the addition of the "free" drink. Maybe it is now due to the cost of food. The "free" drink included with some of the items should be removed. One reason is because of the cup fee in Vancouver. The other is that I don't care much for the drinks. Choice would be nice and hopefully will reduce the price of the meal and reduce unnecessary waste.“
