“I ordered the Mega Tray A and salmon sashimi. Two adults and three kids ate until we were completely full.

The reason I love this place is that the taste is always consistent and the ingredients are always fresh. I haven’t tried every sushi restaurant in Vancouver, but in West Vancouver, I think Mega Sushi is the best.

The food tastes truly high-quality and suits my palate perfectly. I’ve never had a disappointing experience here. Even if you don’t live nearby, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal when you’re on your way to catch the Horseshoe Bay ferry!“

“I was pleased with my visit to Thaigo in the Park Royal shopping center. I ordered tom yam, it was light, not spicy, lots of vegetables and shrimp. I needed a little heat and some coconut milk or cream. But overall the soup was good.

I also liked that this place has an open kitchen and it doesn’t look like fast food at all. The soup was prepared right in front of me. The kitchen is clean and the cook seemed very neat.“

“It was quite good. Expected a little more flavor wise but all in all very good and the house made noodles were delicious. Be aware though about their restrictions when it comes to paying with CC or Amex. They’re quite upfront about it though, so it’s hard to miss.“

“Maruhachi Ra-men has great ramen. There are many options to choose from. The chicken-based ramen is very flavorful.
Despite the amount of reviews, they didn’t seem to have too many customers at the time I went there (1:30 pm)
The service is excellent. Staff provided baskets for coats and bags.
I recommend parking in Safeway to avoid having to find parking on the street.“

“Absolutely love this place. One of my go to spots! We had the Spicy Boat Noodles and the Hot and Sour Pork Noodles and they were both amazing. I think my favourite was the Hot and Sour one tho because it has a tanginess that’s just so unique and refreshing. I can’t recommend this place enough. It does have limited seating and it gets quite busy so just be prepared.“

“Really enjoyed my visit here! I had the Dan Dan noodles and they were absolutely delicious — perfectly spicy with a great depth of flavor. The balance of heat and richness was spot on. “My husband and I came here for a late night dinner after 9pm. The restaurant obviously had less customers. I had a “深夜食堂” feel (a late night canteen. I felt it was still lively and warm to customers who could eat late night dinner or snacks.

We ordered their signature beef noodles and one with intestines. Both were good. The noodles were freshly made by the chef in the kitchen. We could see the chef who pulled the noodles was a lady. She had strong arms and great energy pulling the noodles and making them fresh for customers. That’s was awesome 👏🏼. Usually we see a male chef to do that.

The broth of the signature beef noodles was light but I could add their special vinegar or spicy oil to get to the level of spicy I wanted.

There is free street parking in the neighborhood. Service was great. We would like to go back and try other dishes especially that we can choose the thickness or width of the noodles. That’s the most interesting part 👍✌🏼“

“This spot serves Fukuoka-style ramen and it definitely delivers. I ordered their seasonal ramen and it was really good. Even at medium spice, it had a solid kick to it.

The broth and noodles were both amazing and really stood out in terms of quality.

One thing I really liked was how efficient everything was. They let you look at the menu and fill out your order while you’re still in line, so by the time you’re seated you can just hand your sheet to the server. It makes the whole process super smooth.

“We were trying to go to the PhoGoodness next door and bewilderingly they close at 8pm. So as we were famished we found a Vietnamese restaurant right next door. We were blown away how rich and authentic their food tasted. The salad rolls, spring rolls and banh mi were amazing. One criticism would be the combo portions were a bit small. I am intrigued by how good their food was and will be back to try their other pho!“

“The owner, Mehdi, created this salad house because he saw how eating good food contributes to good health. When people are healthy, they are happy and kind. He told me about people he lost from cancer and illness from unhealthy eating. When he opened this store, I saw how much love and care he put into the decorations, selections of ingredients, preparation of food and serving people. He always have a nice smile no matter what day he has. He wants to make the world a better place by getting people to eat yummy, fresh and happy things. And he like to play the game of you guessing the weight of your bowl for a chance to win a free salad.“

“Wow! What a surprise! My girlfriend and I wondered over to this place after a massage, I was unsure at first due to the location. Once we ordered are food, I could tell the quality was top notch. This place is a hidden gem. I ordered the lemongrass chicken pho and my girlfriend got the beef stew. Who ever is in that kitchen is a true chef. This is the best pho I have ever had. The chicken came on the side and it was amazing. The beef pulled apart with the fork. Spices were rich and a perfect blend. Veggies were fresh, meat was top quality. Don’t miss out, get in there! I wish we weren’t in a rush. Pricing is perfect for the portion you get.“

Wanted something relatively healthy and not too big of a portion since I'm trying to shed some weight.
I've ordered this type of combo from other Japanese restaurants and was pleasantly surprised at the portion size that I received; other places usually serve a small portion...

“Light light light! Had the Bun Rieu and Bun Cha Ca Dac Biet. Both were very light. The Bun Cha was very dilly which made for a very different flavour than the go to bite flavours. Pretty unique. The Bun Rieu was good. Very light compared to the bun Rieu I’m used to. Solid. The crab meat were more shredded than in meatballs. I prefer the meatball form.
Overall a nice experience. If you prefer a lighter broth then come here. Service was good. It was very busy when we went.“

“This place has extremely massive portion sizes which are super worth the price. The noodles are handmade and chewy. The flavours are rich and tasty. I’ve been coming here for what feels like 20 years(?) lol!

I love this location. It just feels cozier.
The servers are nice, especially if you flash them a smile.

All of their dishes are super solid and come in good portions sizes. The food comes out fast and piping hot.

Pricing is reasonable and the authentic flavour can’t be beat.“

“PROS:Have really on tried the spicy beef noodle soup, bbq pork fried rice, duck fried rice, and spicy won tons. They all have been tasty or satisfactory. No complaints in the taste department from me.CONS:I used to eat here twice a week at least when they had the 10% off when ordering online, but since the removal, I have eaten there a few times since last year.The price is similar to restaurant food, so a bit expensive considering it is food court food. Maybe this is due to the addition of the "free" drink. Maybe it is now due to the cost of food.The "free" drink included with some of the items should be removed. One reason is because of the cup fee in Vancouver. The other is that I don't care much for the drinks. Choice would be nice and hopefully will reduce the price of the meal and reduce unnecessary waste.“

“Very tasty traditional Vietnamese noodle restaurant. Love the beef carpaccio and spring rolls. Hardly find a Vietnamese restaurant does spring rolls with traditional rice paper. It tastes so good.

Even better to ask customers to choose for rare spouts or cooked. We need to ask for rare spouts and gladly the server was very pleased to give us another plate of rare spouts.

Beef carpaccio seasons well with fish sauce and topped with Thai basil and peanuts. The meat is very tender and juicy.

“I came here for the first time recently and I'm already wanting to come back. The food was everything I wanted from a Chinese comfort meal. Everything was clearly handmade and the flavours and textures were all delicious. The cut wok fried noodles with cumin lamb were a highlight. Our server was also really attentive, helpful, and friendly. The only critique I'd give is that I wish the pork and chive dumplings were bigger but I know some people who prefer small dumplings, so maybe that's personal preference haha.“
