“i heard of JJ's from a reel months ago and was determined to have the high tea experience for my sober anniversary and they delivered! what a special place! the food and drinks were amazing - my favourite would have to be the blackberry maga melt and jungle club (the calamansi aioli is something else). the staff were so welcoming and friendly, even joined in on our silliness. jennifer, the owner, came by our table to greet me and chatted with us too. we're grateful for such a wholesome experience!“

“You NEED to try their sweets. I have never tasted a bhaloo shai as tasty as theirs! I can literally eat an entire box myself! Flaky and fresh on the outside and soft and moist on the inside! RED VELVET - top tier. Famous flavor for a reason. I have tried multiple red velvet from other bakeries, nothing have matched JCB's so far. I LOVE the cupcake and cake versions of red velvet (5/5); the jar version (4/5) can be quite dry when cool, so you have to warm it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds and it will be good as new, or wait to drop to room temp.

To-go-cakes are always a life saver for last minute cake needs. Very far from store bought ones with regards to flavor & consistency. Very moist & the sweetness level is tolerable (4/5). Def reco the chocolate and RV flavors.

Rocher brownie - THE BEST. I have no words. My husband and I always gift this to friends and they will not share it with others. Basically just consume by themselves. One friend said it is dangerously addicting. I agree to be honest. (5/5)

Lastly, a new item in their menu: CHOCOLATE KNAFEH FUDGE BAR!!!! I am not sure if this would be a permanent item but get it while they still offer it. Sometimes, they do preorders for this, or have some in-store for a limited quantity. The kataifi/knafeh layer is crunchy even after 2-3 days in the fridge. The sweetness is perfect (in my opinion). The fudge is spot on! Sometimes, I would stare blankly and think of it because it is so d*mn good. Nothing like I've ever tasted. The best! (1000000000/10)

Parking: Both Cloverdale and Surrey locations have plenty of parking spaces within the area.

Jeff, the owner, ensures a warm and welcoming atmosphere. He was kind , gave good advice and helped my little one learn more about his bakery. The staff is friendly, attentive and kind. “This Cobs location is a real stand out! Their staff is always courteous and accommodating. The bread is always fresh. They go above and beyond-- I had a coupon that was only valid at a different location and they accepted in anyway. That saved me from a major inconvenience and is just a testament to how great the service is at this store. This isn't the closest store to me, but it is hands down worth the few extra mins drive.

Parking: Lots of other great stores in this strip mall. Worth a stop.

“Bought a couple of treats from here today and they were so good! I finished them all within an hour ? My favorites were the cream filled croissant (soooo much filling!) and also the raspberry croissant. I've also had the red velvet cake from here previously and it's amazing. Very friendly staff as well!“

“Staff are nice and cakes are delicious especially the Cupcakes. When we called to order a cake the lady told us to pick it up at the same time the bakery closed for some reason but otherwise they are amazing! The prices for the items are also good and they aren't too expensive.

“The C Shop sells ice cream, popcorn (buttered or cheesy), baked goods, and the most scrumptious candy, especially chocolate. And the people who run it are super nice, too. They make their own chocolate and sweets. You can get prepackaged candy (for example, jelly beans or salt water taffy, etc.), or make a bag of your favorite flavors. There are some tables where you can sit outside. Really good place to stop for some ice cream or sweet treats on a trip to the beach.“
