One thing that sets Vpho apart is that they don't cram their tables together like some other Asian restaurants, so you have plenty of space to relax and enjoy your meal. Plus, there's lots of parking available, which makes getting there easy. The restaurant itself is clean and well-kept, which adds to the pleasant dining experience. I tried the Chicken Wing with mild spicy sauce, and it was surprisingly good—tender and flavorful. The Beef Bone Pho was outstanding; the meat practically fell off the bone, and the soup was warm and yummy—perfect for a chilly day. Although I didn't try it this time, they have a cocktail menu, which sounds intriguing for my next visit. The restroom is nicely remodeled, but it could be cleaner, which is something they might want to improve. “I've been going here since I was a little kid. Instead of having desert, I would get a cool ballon. Haha. Now I'm all grown up now, I still like going to this place. The bowls are big and worth the price. The broth is flavorful but if you like your food bland, maybe this isn't your joint.

Some people get annoyed that their servers don't give them time to order. In a typical viet restaurant, people usually know what they want and they want to provide you fast and efficient service as possible. Just tell them you need a couple of minutes and they'll back off and give you space.

Some waiters are outgoing and some are shy but they're friendly overall. I remember I spilled a pot of tea and I tried to clean it up because I was so embarrassed. One of the waiter was nice enough to tell me he'll take care of it and reassured me that accidents happen.

Got the house special selection large size and it came out really fast. Comes with all the ingredients you would expect from an excellent pho. There were a lot of noodles in there and the broth was super tasty! The beef was also quite enjoyable. I would definitely come back to eat more pho.

“Some of the best pho I’ve had anywhere. They’re pretty committed to their closing hours, so if you go, be sure to get there at least 40 minutes before closing. The kitchen closes 30 minutes before the dining area. I do wish they had later hours sometimes, but that’s just a selfish desire on my part because our family tends to do things later at night than most people. When we want pho, we just try extra hard to get there early enough like normal people during acceptable dinner hours. It’s worth it, the broth is just so good!“

“This restaurant is nice and clean. Pho's broth was delicious and rich for most people. As for me, the broth was alright, Fresno pho's broth is better for sure, like pho 9. Combo pho, either thin or thick noodle, is a "must get" if you like the bone rib in your Pho, for appx $17.95 and an extra $6.95 for extra brisket. Vietnamese thick noodles mixed with veggies and chicken were interesting but not my favorite. The seasoning of this dish was mostly from the standard sweet and spicy sauce with a hint of sourness in most vermicelli dry dishes. The steak stir-fried dish was almost perfect. Our first steak dish has a piece of black hair on it but was quickly dressed by the owner, and we got a new dish after 5-10 mins. The steak was juicy and delicous. Flavor on point, and yes, I would get the steak again!! Stir-fried chicken with crisy noodles was alright. It's like eating a sitr fried dish with fried noodles instead of rice. Vietnamese iced coffee was nice and strong. Fried squid was fresh and crunchy, but I could use a little more salt to the seasoning based on my palate. Services were fast and worth it. We didn't have to wait longer than 10 mins for all of the dishes to come. This place definitely received my quality, but not quantity.“

Their key dish is the Cambodian style noodle soup which we ordered, dry, with soup on the side. The soup and noodles were quite delicious and I would certainly go back to eat there again.“

The sale lady was so nice, she said “just come back and pay me tomorrow” with a big smile. I was thankful but a little embarrassed so I respectfully declined her offer but she already told the kitchen lady to give me a longer piece. The other sale lady also said “give her more so she can enjoy her dinner”. Luckily, I found some quarters in my car so I went back in to pay her. Thank you so much for your generosity nice ladies. Tucked away in an unassuming plaza in San Jose, this place is small but always busy and for good reason.

This no frills spot is basically a grab and go. The service is fast and efficient but don't expect an amazing atmosphere and sit down vibes. This is not what the spot is about.

Their house made tofu is amazing. The silken tofu is sooooo silky. The fried tofu is crispy on the outside and custardy on the inside. Don't forget to grab soy milk, as well.

“We wanted a dry noodle so we ordered bun. The pork was cut a little thick so it was chewy. The shrimp flavor was okay as well as the cha gio. I wish there were more combinations of meat but I guess that is not their strength. I liked that the noodles were warm and the mint made it flavorful.“
