“We decided to stop for lunch in downtown Yountville. We ordered two cheeseburgers (my husband's burger was a double), fries to share and two drinks. The food was fresh and delicious. But we were sticker shocked by the price. It ended up being $70! The staff were also not very friendly. The atmosphere was small and cozy (best suited for 1-2 people). Overall it was a fun afternoon but probably would only go on special occasions as tbe price point is high.“

RH Yountville only uses the finest ingredients in their dishes from farm fresh airloom tomatoes, lobster, mozzarela in the Burrata, there is no bad dish in this establishment, and their cheffs take the quality in their dishes very seriously. “LaSalette was a fantastic experience. The restaurant is beautiful both inside and outside, with a warm, charming atmosphere that’s perfect for a date or a small family gathering. I came on a Thursday evening, and it had a relaxed, welcoming vibe.

I ordered the Portuguese-style chicken with Spanish rice, and it was delicious. The flavors were authentic, well balanced, and the portion was just right.

The staff were kind, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. I highly recommend LaSalette if you’re visiting Sonoma and looking for a memorable dining experience.“

“Three Fat Guys is a Gem!! We are Packer Fans and our local winery (Red&White wine bar in Waunakee WI) recommended we go see them on our trip. What a Great decision. We were greeted by Jim McMahon (Yes that's right, not the bear though) He's the winemaker and has been doing it for over 25 years. The back patio area is very causal and comfortable for many people. Jim presented us many wines all very good. Our favorites were the Old Rail Cab, Lineman and the Sauv Blanc. Wines are reasonably priced, staff is great. Definitely a recommend.“

Last week we stopped by the Alpha Omega Collective shop in downtown Napa. It was wonderful and we truly enjoyed our time there. The staff there was very welcoming and we felt right at home. We recommend those visiting downtown Napa to stop by for a tasting. Hopefully, you enjoy it as much as we did.“

“This place is excellent. It has a good handful selection of local and eclectic beers. The wine was also excellent. It’s in a strip mall outside of the main town town drag but it’s definitely a great vibe. Is where the local winery staff usually end up to have a good time. We had the cheese and meat tray and it was awesome. Has a great patio outside that seats probably 40. It is up against the busy street but that won’t ruin your vibe. We went to the Saint Claire winery before this and Max who is tending bar there told us about this spot. Definitely a good spot if you want to get out of the mainstream And if you want great wine and a good beer selection.“

“We stopped by Feast It Forward for a bottle of wine to enjoy. This was my first time here and I was really happy with the way this spot designed its interior and exterior area. This spot instantly gave me a warm and cozy vibe.Service was friendly. The worker gave us some recommendations to choose from and also told us which ones were sold out. Need a story about the wine that makes it taste even better? Done. Need someone to casually convince you to order another glass? She’s your girl.

Basically, Enoteca without Lilly would be like a wine glass without wine—functional, but missing the good stuff.

“We had a magical time at our wine tasting at the Saint! From beginning to end, the experience and the staff were excellent. I had accidentally booked our tasting for the wrong month, but the staff was able to quickly accommodate us anyway. The tasting was phenomenal, with four wines paired with complementary cheeses. We were looking forward to tasting some mountain wines for our last tasting of the trip, and we were blown away by the quality and depth of these wines! The tasting prices at the Saint are an absolute steal for the quality of the wines and the luxurious tasting experience.

Our wine-tasting guide, Christopher, grew up in the Napa region, and his deep knowledge of wine in general (from the vineyards to the table), and these specific wines in particular, was clear throughout our tasting. One of the things I appreciate the most about Christopher is that he is not only knowledgeable and professional, but he is also a great listener. He didn’t have a “spiel” or stiff monologue like some guides. Instead, he gave us key information as he poured each glass, answered our many questions, and talked with us about the nose and palate of the wines we tasted. His great listening was evident when he was able to respond to specific comments and make tailored recommendations based on the tasting notes we liked the most. We ended up going “off road” to try some different wines on his recommendations, including some incredible Night Wines (from a small-production, very high-elevation winery which I believe is owned by some of the same people who own the Saint—if you are in the bar, definitely try their wines!). Our group was very slow—we take a lot of notes and take our time smelling and tasting—but Christopher was very relaxed. He adapted to our pace and reassured us that we could take our time, which made the experience even more luxurious. When the wine started to go to our heads and we asked if there was any way if we could order an unplanned cheese tray, Christopher and other staff members quickly put together a beautiful platter for us with nuts, cheeses, crackers, and herbs. They were even able to provide some homemade gluten-free crackers when I let them know about my allergy. At the end of the tasting, we ended up buying several bottles, some of which we plan to put away in our cellar and are very excited to open someday.

I would highly recommend the Saint to anyone who is visiting the region and wants to try some top-notch, complex, highly structured mountain wines without driving up the mountain itself! Thank you to Christopher and everyone at the Saint who helped give us such an amazing experience!“
