“I absolutely love this pastry café! The moment you walk in, the warm and cozy atmosphere makes you want to stay a while. The pastries are freshly baked, beautifully presented, and taste even better than they look. My personal favorite was the croissant — perfectly flaky and buttery.
The coffee is excellent, with just the right balance of flavor and strength, and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. You can tell they care about both their craft and their customers.
I absolutely loved their fresh and large portion sandwiches.
I strongly recommend this place.“

“Howdy’s Malibu is always a go-to spot for great food and a welcoming, local vibe. Everything is fresh, consistent, and delicious — the Pepperdine burrito with chicken is my personal favorite. It’s also special to support a business that’s truly part of the Malibu community. One of the owners serves with me on the Malibu Chamber of Commerce Board, and Howdy’s has been a longtime Chamber member. It’s always a pleasure stopping in, whether for a quick meal or bringing friends and clients to experience a true local favorite.“

“What a great place for ladies to get together chitchat and have a wonderful salad and sandwich! I always get their beat pecan and chicken salad and it’s so fresh and full of stuff! Really great salad. I don’t normally order the Panini’s but my girlfriend’s always do and they crave about them. Great lunch spot not so great for dinner.“

“My new favorite breakfast hang-out. Not cheap - but who really wants CHEAP? I had one of the best Latte Macciatos I ever had - their subs were crunchy and delicious, can't wait to go again. Service was very friendly - and the ambiance was very nice.Would I do a 30-minute detour just to eat here (mandatory in my rating scheme to achieve 5 stars)? I certainly would (and just did ;-)“

“l love The Baker's Daughters commitment to using the finest & freshest ingredients. Their hand-made sour dough bread, pizza, focaccia, avocado tartines, savory and sweet pastries are exceptionally delicious. They make a delicious Brazilian Acai bowl and the unique coffee's are always on point.“

“This is my second time coming here, and I’m already in love with this place! The couple who runs it is so incredibly sweet — we ended up having such a warm, genuine conversation with them. They even upgraded my drink from a small to a large because there was extra, which completely made my day. The matcha is delicious, the vibe is cozy, and the kindness here is unmatched. “Though food is overpriced, I find the people who work at Bon Appétit Pepperdine are awesome. The manager, Darren Wise, is a great leader, and his team is exceptional in providing great customer service, from the servers to the cashiers. Shoutout to the team at Pepperdine Bon Appétit!“

“My friend was studying and told me that people were being super loud next to her and I live in Norcal so I couldn't do anything. (She's too nice to say anything.) I called and asked the employees to tell the loud people next to her to shush because Starbucks is a studying environment and they did. 5 stars. 10/10 will buy a refresher to celebrate.“

Tables are outside on beach or pleasant inside with waves crashing in front.
Margaritas tasty and taco plate amazing fish, beef, carnitas... it is pricey! The history of black n white photos covering the walls of the beach, people, boats an fishing!
I enjoyed the atmosphere even got to watch a few guys catch some waves!

“They did a lovely job for our farewell party for LOU GOSSET They did a lovely job for our farewell party for Lou Gossett Jr. Not only did they pay attention to the kind of appetizers we desired, they presented them beautifully and were delicious and innovative! The servers were friendly and prepared and Monroe’s also set up special lighting and built a screened off area on the terrace for the servers, brought flowers for each table and made it a delightful atmosphere! “This is one of our favorite spots in Calabasas. Their pastries and bread are made every day. Their coffee and matcha selection is big.
The inside and outside is just majestic, I say that because they pick yellow flowers surrounded the tables and it makes feel that you are in such a natural environment!
The sound of the water seating outside is very refreshing!
Just being there can help you to clear your mind and shake off of your busy day.

“Went in to try their Spanish latte, while the wife ordered a Matcha drink and the kids indulged in mini pancakes with Nutella and whipped cream.
The drinks were good, and the pancakes soft, a hit with the kids.
Place was quiet, not a lot of customers for a nice and sunny Sunday afternoon. However, a bit warm for our liking as there seemed to be minimal air circulation. Overall, a decent experience to sit down and relax with a cup of coffee, without the loud interruptions from other more crowded coffee shops.“
