“This is a cute small restaurant. It seems to mostly be a pickup spot, but my friend and I were open to trying a different cuisine and decided to dine in. We did not regret the decision!
The food was absolutely delicious. I loved the BOB chunky, their signature dish with coconut rice. I haven't had butterfly pea tea in a while and enjoyed it. Keep in mind that this place doesn't serve alcohol. The customer service was good as well.
An area for improvement is having regular tables (without holes in them). The blue tea spilled into one of the holes and on my white pants.“

“First I learned the pronunciation of Donaji, a Oaxacan Princess, is (doh na hee).
A friend and I had margueritas: he had the Coco, and I had the Cadillac. Both drinks were delicious. There was no G4 Reposado, so they graciously swapped in another delicious, smokey Reposado.
We split a Mercado Ensalade, and there was plenty to split. The greens and oranges were fresh, and the pickled onions and hibiscus vinaigrette were just the right combination of sweet and sour.
He had the mole chicken enchiladas with a side serving of rice to ensure all the delicious mole was eaten. The combination of 26 ingredients blended to mole perfection was made for a flavor packed entree. I don't like mole, so I ordered the Mole Rojo Spare Ribs, without the mole sauce with a side of refried beans. What came to the table was the delicious Mole Rojo 1/4 chicken, without the mole sauce. I let them know I had ordered the Spare Ribs, and they apologized for the error, and said it would take a few minutes. I hated the thought that the chicken would go to waste and I decided to keep the different protein. I enjoyed a perfectly cooked piece of chicken, with a wonderfully spiced crispy skin with a small portion of pickled vegetables.
When our waiter returned with the dessert menus, he also brought two complimentary shots of Mezcal, orange slices an Tajin spice. The waiter again apologized for the order mix up. The smokey Mezcal was very smooth, and the orange slice and Tajin spice really elevated the taste.
We split the Churro Donut with warm chocolate sauce. Again, like all the other food, the churro was perfectly crisp and without any deep fried oily-ness. We struggled to use all the silky smooth, pourable chocolate sauce!
We both felt <$60/ person without tip was reasonable for the quality. At 6 PM parking in yellow loading zones on 24th Street was readily available. On a Wednesday night a DJ started to mix at around 8:45 PM. The DJ was experimenting with the sound volumes and eventually got it right, so conversation could be said & heard across the table.
This is definitely a place I'd recommend to friends and family.

Booked Liberation Foods to cater the appetizers and buffet-style meal for my 90-person wedding in May 2025. Conducted a tasting prior to booking which was helpful to identify menu items. Also liked that tasting fee was credited to overall bill.
Due to venue constraints, opted to have food dropped off the day of the event in lieu of prepared onsite. When there was a mix-up with one of the sides, catering staff quickly returned back to the venue with the correct item. Would definitely recommend for your catering needs and I will definitely book with them in the future!“

“I hired Jasmine Catering for a baby naming party back in September. I could not be happier with the service! From start to finish, Oded was extremely responsive and accommodating to my special dietary requests, planning the logistics, working with my timing and providing advice. On the day of the party the food exceeded my expectations, my guests did not stop commenting on the food quality and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The lead server is absolutely charming, and the entire staff looked happy and friendly to my guests. At the end of the night they packed the leftovers for us, and we enjoyed them for a few days following the party.

“Just had my daughter's first birthday and our dishes were a hit. Chef Henry was great at communicating from start to finish and i can't wait to try more of his menu items in the future. We had 50+ guests and there was plenty of food to go around with leftovers at the end which is always an added bonus. The variety of apps, entrees, and desserts available blew me away and eventually I settled on a mix of veggie and meat dishes for the party. My favorite dishes were the brisket sliders and the garlic noodles. I ate everything so it was hard to pick a favorite. My guests were pleased with the selection and it made for a perfect birthday celebration. I want to plan another event soon just so I can try more of Henry's creations! Highly recommend especially for large group events.“

“We hired Thai Rice Spoon Catering to provide 2 meals during a 4-day family/friends gathering, and it has been a wonderful experience. In the time leading to the event, communication with Tumi has been prompt, and she has been very helpful in providing suggestions on the types of dishes and amounts to order, especially in the setting of some of the guests' dietary restrictions. Tumi has also been very understanding in suggesting different options on how to stay within budget.
Regarding the food delivery, it was delivered early and displayed beautifully with the chafing dishes and sterno fuel. We were then given instructions on how to serve them.
The food itself was delicious and a favorite of many of the guests. Overall, we would definitely hire Thai Rice Spoon Catering again in the future if the need arises. Highly recommend!“

“We’ve got two pour over - Ethiopia and Rwanda. Both had a slightly acidic taste and delicious! The pastry, cinnamon bun, was so good. Soft and not overly sweet. Very tasty. It felt like European-style bread. Despite only two seats available, we still enjoyed our coffee on site. Staff was very friendly.“

“Wonderful experience with the Revel meal delivery! The food was DELICIOUS and prepared perfectly. The whole family (including 5 kids) enjoyed it! The menu was creative and I could customize our order - double orders of protein and single orders of vegetables. They provided a touchless delivery with all of the items clearly labeled with ingredients (in case someone in your house is dealing with allergies) and clear instructions on how to finish the preparation. And to top it off, not only was the delivery on time, they texted me with a 20-minute heads up text so I would know exactly when my delivery would be on my door stop. For me, I was grateful for that extra effort so our food didn’t sit out in the sun.“

“PRAJAM is the definition of hole-in-the-wall. This restaurant provides the savortiest thai I've ever had. Truly.
95% of PRAJAM's menu is GLUTEN FREE and all clearly marked. All they did was use gluten free soy sauce for all their dishes. EASY! SIMPLE! DELICIOUS!
Meats are juicy, sauces are packed with flavor, the ambiance is up-and-coming! I love it here“

Not only is the owner (who ended up at our table, where we had a lovely conversation) Livornese (I'm from Tirrenia, a province of Pisa), but the food was incredible, AND he knew a number of people that I knew! It's been five years, and I really want to go back some day. BOIA! CHE GIOIA!“

“This is the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to in the East Bay. So I and my friends keep coming back. The dishes are really well done, and the portions are quite good too. While, it can get a little noisy when it’s full, most of the time it’s OK. I particularly love the corn cheese fritters, the jumbo garlic, shrimp, the exquisite, coconut soup, and the ginger dish. The wait staff have been universally considerate and excellent.“
