“I'll start off by saying yes, this does taste just as good as it looks. I'm so glad I gave this place a shot. It was super eye catching and looked like a very unique take on ice cream. Their flavors and pastries are all hand crafted from what I could tell and it shows because they taste amazing. Everything I had was absolutely delicious and I'll definitely be coming back. When we went, there was only one person working so be prepared to wait but I promise that it's worth it. I will say next time I'll probably go with a regular scoop because I feel like I got less ice cream than my girlfriend who didn't get the bun. The bun however, was very flavorful and wasn't too thick, which I appreciated. Also if you get a bun, it does melt and get messy which is to be expected so be prepared for that. Overall, absolutely love this place and would highly suggest to any ice cream enjoyer.“

You can tell the oil they get made in is also very fresh, no after taste of old oil. Donuts are not super greasy. The service is magnificent! The first time coming here the woman was extremely helpful and kind. The second time a young man helped us and he had a great personality and energy. “I still give this place five stars for their gluten free baked goods and take home lasagna but overall four stars because their service still sucks most of the time. I went by here recently on a Sunday morning before a meeting to grab something hot to eat. I love their hot pockets. However, it was 9:30 am. A number of people around me and I started to form a line. Some people asked the staff questions about the pastries and they answered while putting stuff out. None of the staff thought to tell us that they didn't open until 10 am on Sundays. After about 5 minutes of being ignored, I saw the small sign for their hours. I pointed it out to others and we all left. That was a horrible experience as I was hungry and now didn't have time to get something else before my meeting. On Pi Day, I came by and was pleased they had a number of pies available in different sizes. I picked up a small Chocolate Pie that was low in sugar and a small Cherry Pie. They were the perfect size for the three of us though they could have fed more people. We didn't finish the pies ourselves. The Chocolate Pie was yummy and perfect for me but my husband said it wasn't sweet enough for him. We all loved the Cherry Pie! We went back recently and picked up their pizza dough. It came with two rounds. They were awesome!!! We put on our own toppings and popped them into the oven. They came out delicious. I love their food. I just wish the service was better.“

“Fried flour dough, if fried in fresh oil by someone who knows what they are doing, is a culinary miracle. Because it is no longer flour and water and eggs and leavening and a little salt. The frying transforms pedestrian ingredients into DELIGHT. Come to Dick's Donuts for some miraculous comfort. And, although it is true that they only take cash, the doughnuts are FRESH and delicious. My co-workers agree with me on this. This doughnut shop is in a small strip mall on High Street across from Walgreen's, just as one gets off of 580 coming east. Going west there is that whole "High Street" exit thing happening, but once you get to High Street, turn left on High and go under 580 and voila, there you are, look for the small strip mall on the right. And because this is a little strip mall, usually you can park for free. And there is a taqueria next door. The lady behind the counter was SO NICE. I went in and said "all I have is $20" since it is cash only and I only had a 20 dollar bill in the cash division. And she filled up a BIG PINK BOX with like 10 doughnuts or maybe more, I was in too much of a hurry to count them. So now I am getting crackling sugar glaze everywhere at my desk as I scarf this down and review DICK'S DONUTS. And my co-workers are walking by my office saying "thank you!" Still prefer working from home, but if you have to be there, soften the blow with doughnuts.“

“I saw this shop on an IG reel and wanted to try because I love sourdough and donuts. It was the best of both worlds. I came to the shop on Friday the 22nd around 2:15 pm. I got the cheesecake, lemon meringue, and blueberry. The cheesecake flavor wasn't for me because it was a little bit sweet. I liked the filling of the lemon and the meringue. For the blueberry donut, the blueberry goes well with the lime on top. All of the donuts base were really fluffy and light. I ate the blueberry the next day and the donut was still fluffy. I enjoyed the sourdough donuts and would definitely come back to try their other flavors.“

The jelly donuts were huge, so I opted for two raspberry filled, a regular twist and sugar donute. Last minute decided on 1/2 donut holes cuz they were enormous. Since it was my first time there and a lot of the co-workers go there, she apparently gave me some extra donut holes. The donuts were fresh and the jelly was a good amount.Will be back.“

This is a small family run business - unlike Duncans or Krispy Kreme - huge corporations. There is nothing wrong with the big guys - it is predictable and familiar - but if a smaller run business does just as good or better - its great to patronize. I tend to dislike Krispy Kreme - too gooey. Soggy - greasy somehow. These donuts sold here are big and fluffy and very fresh. Tons of variety as you could imagine and a personal touch too. The area is safe and there is a lot of new construction - hopefully that means more turnover and freshness. Interior is clean and some windows to look out and enjoy.“
