“Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. And ordering was very easy since you do it through a QR code but you can also ask for a menu and order that way as well. Food came within 10 to 15 minutes and everything was very hot and fresh. The meat pies were really hot and filled with yummy juices. The scallion pancakes were very very yummy. I highly recommend getting the cucumbers. Service was decent but don't be expecting conversations from these ladies. They bring you your food and that's about it. I can't wait to come back and the prices are so worth it.“

“We had a wonderful time. We kicked off my hubby's birthday with great food, wonderful vibes and incredible service!! My husband could not stop raving about the eggs! We literally came back for the biscuits. I hate that I don't remember our waitresses name because she was so sweet and attentive. Just walking up to the restaurant is an experience in of itself with all the bright and vibrant colors coupled with great lighting and then the flavors starting hitting the nose to let you know you're in the right spot and the nose doesn't lie...it WAS the right spot. Ordered the Coconut Limeade which was STUPID GOOD, the Oxtail & Peppers Patty and the Honey Jerk Chicken comb which I subbed one side for the tostones and that was the best of presents I could've gave to myself because they were crazy delicious and also reminded me of an ex which twas a whole OTHER experience in of itself. Everything was seasoned well and each item complemented the other but and yes, buuut since we're in Hollywood, the starlet of this whole show, the chicken, wasn't all the way ready for the stage...the lower half had a mushy consistency while the upper thigh was just fine; it was strange and really bummed me out because it was close to a $50 takeout dinner and was almost 5 stars. Anywho, stuff happens but it took the motivation of me being a returning customer althoooough if I stare at the roti long enough, that could choice could very well change who knows. Stay up!“

“Cozy cafe inside the Delphi building. It is open to guests and visitors alike. I tried their Black Dalia which are 2 French toast with whipped butter and raspberries. It is very sweet and the French toast itself is very fluffy and soft. They gave me a seat 30 mins before they close which is nice. Great place for breakfast.“

“There used to be in a Marugame near my college, but it has disappeared and since then, I’ve been yearning for it. Marugame’s noodles are bouncy and the soup rich in fishy flavor. I love the ability to tempura, but my tempura was a little too soggy in the breading. But overall, loved the experience and the food“

“I've dined at Golden Leaf a couple of times in the last year. The Taiwanese food is excellent across the entire menu. I only wish there was a location in San Diego where I live. You can really tell that the owner & staff put a lot into making authentic Taiwanese dishes and its really appreciated.“

“Oh yes. My wife and I have passed this place many times when visiting the adjacent Flower market in DTLA - and it was always busy. After we had all our flowery-needs yesterday I asked my wife to Yelp "best breakfast in DTLA" and it popped up - the Poppy & Rose - and we were standing in front of it. I must say two things: I did not find the ambiance too appealing and they you could hear through the open door it was extremely loud. Still, we gave it a try - and I can tell you: it was delicious. Our server - one you would describe as the typical California surfer boy - was extremely charming - so despite the so-so ambiance (the vibe of this place was great though) and the noise we will definitely go again. Would we make a 30+ min detour just to eat here (mandatory in my rating scheme to achieve five out five): again, oh yes!“

“What a hidden gem! This small quaint restaurant delivered some of the best food we had while visiting Pasadena. The flavors in the sauce (basil, olive oil and something else yummy) that surrounded the burrata were absolutely delicious! The lamb/beef/pork bolognese sauce on the spaghetti as well as the duck was excellent. Portions are definitely generous and shareable. Our only regret is we didn’t save room for dessert! Despite being there during the Rose Bowl with lots of people, the service was excellent! So glad we stumbled upon this restaurant via Resy, we’ve saved it in case we come to Pasadena again!! “I saw a Groupon for Lobos Truck the other day and I had to buy it. It was $13 for 2 entrees and 2 drinks! What a steal! They stop by in front of my work building every now and then so it was pretty convenient for me to check them out.The Chinook: 1/3 lb. American-Kobe beef burger with garlic aioli, cheddar, lettuce, and tomato on a fresh Brioche bun. The burger was nothing special - just average. It was cooked medium rare as requested and it was well seasoned.OG Wachos: With everything. What are Wachos you ask? Waffle Fries + Nacho Toppings = Wachos. Came with Avocado, Cheese, Onions, and much more. It was amazing. The waffle fries were crisp and flavorful and it went well with all the toppings. I wish there was some heat to it though!“

“Came here to celebrate my brother’s birthday with the family and we had a great experience overall.

We ordered the royal galbijim, mix seolleongtang with added octopus, spicy cold noodle, and the seafood pancake. The food was honestly amazing. The flavors were rich and comforting, and the meat quality really stood out. I would even say the meat and seasoning were better than Sun Nong Dan.

The royal galbijim was tender and packed with flavor. The only issue was that they forgot to include the octopus in the dish at first. When we let them know, they brought the octopus out separately, but it was just boiled. We had expected it to come back simmered together with the galbijim. It was still good, just not what we thought it would be.

The mix seolleongtang had a nice, clean broth, but the meat portion was a bit sparse. We also had to ask for spring onions instead of them being provided from the start. Not a huge deal, but something to note.

The spicy cold noodle was refreshing with a good kick, and the seafood pancake was crispy on the outside and soft inside, loaded with seafood.

Service was amazing. The staff was attentive, friendly, and generous with the banchan refills. The ambiance is modern with nice decor, and it is quiet enough to have an easy conversation without feeling rushed or crowded.

Parking is easy with a large free lot, which is always a plus in this area.

Overall, despite a couple small hiccups, we had a great time and really enjoyed the food. We will definitely be back to try more dishes.“

“Came here for lunch with family and it was busy inside when we went. The store isn't that big and there aren't that many tables so it's a more homey style place. Luckily, we didn't have to wait long for table.

We ordered the French Style Stir Fry Beef, Pea Shoots, Honey Garlic Pork Chop, Fried Egg Tofu w/ Mushrooms and Veggies, and Braised Pork w/ Aged Vegetables. We also ordered the Honey Lemon Iced Tea because it only costs $2.50 for a very large cup and comes with refills! So worth!

The dishes didn't take too long to be served and comes with white rice for free. We liked all the dishes except the Braised Pork because it was tough to chew and a bit dry. The other dishes were all very good, seasoned well, and not salty. They tasted very good with some rice. The Pork Chop w/ Honey Garlic sauce was better than I expected since it is fried and tasted great with the sauce. The portions were also pretty big for the price which is hard to see these days. These dishes also tasted like authentic Guangdong food. Will be coming back again for sure!“

“This is the 2nd time I frequent this establishment and it doesn’t disappoint. The food is delicious and fairly priced. The customer service is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend it.“

“We visited this place when we were in old town Pasadena walking our dog on December 25th and they are open. I admire restaurants giving time to serve hot food when some restaurants choose to close this holiday. We went in together with our dog on a stroller they are open to service animals. Ambience was great not too loud and restaurant layout gives you a chance to go through each table without hitting another chair. I ordered the Japanese Miso, my wife ordered the Lamb Soup and my son ordered the Taiwanese Hot Soup. The food came in with a heating box where in they would light it up and keep the soup piping hot. It’s just like the Shabu-Shabu style on the side I ordered Vermicelli and my wife and son ordered white rice. Food was overflowing from the bowl what a great treat! All three soups we ordered had their own different tastes. This is the one of the Boiling Point restaurants that is fully staffed no need to wait on a server to get your order. Comparing this to the one we last visited this one will give you more food we had to bring home half of it as we were already full and there is still a lot left! We will come back here again for sure“

“This place is great. The food is pretty good and service is kinda slow at times but on rare occasions. I usually order the Beef Upgraded Soup and it doesn't disappoint me. The price for it is kinda on the expensive side due to inflation. The atmosphere feels a bit crowded since they do have lots of seating but in a small restaurant. I do recommend if you're in the area to give it a try if it's not out of your way. Overall, good experience and will come back again soon.“
