“I wish I could leave 1,000 reviews! 100/10 I do recommend! The food was absolutely amazing and beautiful! It was truly the first restaurant I felt safe to eat at in LA living with celiac! The service was absolutely amazing and the restaurant was beautiful! I wish there was one closer to home! Let me speak it into existence! Please bring this restaurant closer to Maiden NC!“

“My go to breakfast spot. Love how vegan friendly it is and on a beautiful LA day it’s such a gorgeous spot to sit outside and talk with friends. The steak sandwich and breakfast crunch wrap are my current favs but it’s hard to pick when everything is so good!“

“Came out because of an Eater article, stayed for the mochi pastries. Got an espresso cloud, a black sesame mochi cake bar, and a hojicha mochi muffin. Espresso cloud was tasty, black sesame cake had a great flavor, and the consistency of the hojicha muffin was spot on. Came on a Sunday morning so it was a bit packed and hard to hear orders get called out (hence the 4 star atmosphere), but would absolutely come back again.“

“Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to the charming, highly-rated Hello You're Welcome café. They make and bake everything in house- you can even see the ovens. Really friendly staff with a slight hippie vibe. Some items were made with almond flour, like their giant chocolate chip cookie, so I had to skip them (allergic). I was pleasantly overwhelmed by a delicious gigantic frittata slice with bacon, onions, and tater tots inside. Togadachi coffee is really interesting: the beans were fermented with lavender. Extra sugar helped me adjust to the unique flavor. The wall full of retail items features coffee beans in VHS boxes, which is a first! I love their mugs and bought one to take home.“

“Amazing food and service, everything gluten-free. I couldn't find celiac-friendly sushi while I was in Japan a few months ago, so it was even more pleasing. Cannot recommend enough.
I ordered a set and after trying some food ordered an extra sushi roll to-go.“

“One of my favorite spots for vegan breakfast. The atmosphere, staff, and food are all absolutely next level. I always bring my parents here when they visit, and even though they aren’t vegan and I am, they still rave about their meals every time.“

“Paul is very nice and made me feel so welcomed! He remembered me even though I've only been there once. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. If I recall correctly, he said that the strawberry cake ball, coffee cake, and a few others were popular picks. There is only outdoor sidewalk seating (a total of 3 small tables with 2 seats each). The interior is tiny, and it carries the feel of a quick in-and-out pickup store. It's also right across the street from Pasadena's Central Park if you're looking for a stroll while you eat. It's very transit-accessible. It's a 5 minute walk from the A line Del Mar station. death by chocolate cookie ($3.85) - It's just a typical double chocolate cookie! It's a little gritty and dry (maybe it's gluten free?) but still delicious nonetheless. coffee cake ($5.88) - sweet, with a flavor of cinnamon (not in an overpowering way). If you enjoy coffee cake, definitely get this, as vegan coffee cake is a rarity in Pasadena and LA. ice cream sandwich ($9.25) - honestly, i think this was a little too sweet for me. The ice cream itself was plain vanilla soft serve, but when sandwiched by two entire chocolate chip cookies, I think the sweetness can be overpowering. Keep in mind that it also melts very fast (since it has the consistency of soft serve) and this makes it hard to keep the whole sandwich in shape. If you do not plan to eat it right away, I would not recommend getting this as it'll melt in a mere minute.“

“Fantastic service. The specialties and house signature food and drink are fabulous. I had the braised short rib and the house dirty martini. Delicious. Also please try the truffle deviled eggs, Brussels sprouts and truffle fries. Love this place.“

“This bakery is such a dangerous place if you love pastries because everything looks amazing the moment you walk in. There’s a huge variety of baked goods to choose from, and it honestly feels hard to leave with just one thing.
Everything I tried tasted fresh and homemade, with that perfect balance where the pastries feel rich and satisfying without being overly heavy. You can tell they put real care into both the flavor and presentation.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great place to stop for coffee and something sweet. Definitely one of those spots I’d happily come back to whenever I’m craving good pastries in LA“

“The chocolate 2 layer cake with chocolate icing (or with vanilla icing, but the chocolate icing is the best) and sprinkles is INCREDIBLE. I'm normally not impressed by vegan cakes, but this one is genuinely so good. I'd serve it to anyone confidently!!
I order it every year for my bday and my friend's bday. It's the best vegan cake I've had in LA.
Two pics are below - chocolate icing (with a train on top per request) and vanilla icing (with sprinkles covering the cake).“

“Constellation is a jewel in both La Canada and Silver Lake. It’s one of a handful of really good coffee shops in LA. Their espresso is smooth but flavorful, perfect for that early AM wake up call. Best of all, they are very community oriented and the leadership here really dedicates itself to helping the community in more ways than one. Great place, great owners, and they go the distance!“

“What a fun spot to take your pup! Dog friendly outdoor patio where you can sit with your leashed pup, plus a mini “dog park”, which is really better suited as a place you can hang with your dog off leash! I love how Muddy Paw supports local animal charities 💕
Menu-wise, there are some pastries and tasty empanadas, in addition to coffee and tea. What a great fun spot!“

“This place came to the rescue!!! The wedding cake I had made fell over on the long drive. It was a disaster!! Other bakeries near the wedding venue were already closed and others needed at least 48 hour notice… the wedding was happening NOW. I called Sonora Bakery in my final desperate attempt, explained the situation, sent them a picture of the cake and within minutes, they got to work. The cake was delicious and the wedding was saved. Thank you Sonora Bakery…. You have a customer for life!“

“I’ve been to the DTLA Arts District location so many times, so I was shocked (in the best way) to discover this one so close to home. The space is modern, clean, and has a cool vibe — though I still lean toward the unique Arts District atmosphere. What really stands out is the pizza: same incredible quality as DTLA. Blindfold me and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
The only thing to keep in mind is that pizza by the slice can add up — if you’re thinking of grabbing more than two, a fresh pie might be the smarter move. Either way, I’m thrilled to have another amazing spot nearby!“

“Holy Crépe! It’s raining cats n dogs today.
But no worries we have T-Swirl. lol Let’s begin this dessert review.
T-Swirl Crépe is a Japanese crepes franchise that offer the finest crepes in America. This location is at a large plaza in Temple City. They have the freshest ingredients and all are Gluten-free! Also, they have smoothie and milk tea. It was my first time here and perused their vast list. I had a mini Berry crepe and it taste good. For me it hits everything from the light sweetness to texture to flavor.
Service was modest. Staff were competent. Prices were fair that match the quality. Atmosphere was relaxing. Vibe was okay. Seats were comfortable. Overall, I enjoyed my Japanese crepe. I recommend you visit. I shall return.“

“If you’re looking for a café that perfectly captures the heart and flavor of Little Tokyo, Cafe Dulce is an absolute gem. Nestled in the vibrant streets of Little Tokyo in Los Angeles, this spot has become a go-to destination for anyone who appreciates exceptional coffee, creative pastries, and a welcoming atmosphere.
From the moment you walk in, the energy is warm and inviting. The space strikes a beautiful balance between modern and cozy — clean lines, natural light, and just enough buzz to make it feel lively without overwhelming conversation. Whether you’re meeting friends, taking a work break, or enjoying a quiet solo coffee moment, it’s the kind of place that instantly makes you want to stay a while.
The coffee program is consistently impressive. Every cup tastes thoughtfully crafted, from smooth, balanced lattes to bold, rich espresso. You can tell there’s real care in the quality of the beans and the precision of the preparation. Even the specialty drinks feel intentional — creative without being gimmicky, flavorful without overpowering the coffee itself.
But what truly sets Cafe Dulce apart is the pastry selection. The menu blends classic techniques with Asian-inspired flavors in a way that feels both innovative and comforting. Their donuts are especially memorable: soft, perfectly textured, and not overly sweet. Each bite tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. Beyond donuts, the selection of baked goods always feels curated rather than crowded — everything has a purpose, and everything is worth trying.“

“While waiting for a show a couple blocks down at the belasco, we came here for a couple pre-showed drinks. The bartenders were excellent, the security outside was very friendly and helpful. Seating was no problem, though we arrived at 5:30 p.m. It did get much busier over the next one and a half hours.
What note that the bar can be ordered from both ends so often when there are six or seven people waiting on one end, a little hack to go to the other side will often get you quicker service. It is no fault of the bartenders, it's just that it takes a little time to order. Nice atmosphere, clean bathrooms. Will be back!“

“I don't even know where to start because everything was amazing. Alcohol not necessary for a good time here! The food. The drinks. The vibes. The owners. The things they support. Their selflessness. Their creativity. The hope and life force that they provide for those who need it. They deserve your support. As a celiac, and someone who cannot handle alcohol very well.. this is it. This is what I'm talking about when I say I want atmosphere. This is what I want to give my money to. I got the black garlic pasta and it was incredible. My partner got chicken adobo and it was also amazing. We played chess and chat the owners up for a long while. They do mahjong nights on Thursdays apparently, so if you need socializing in a safe place with good food made by people who care deeply about others - go here.“
