“We really liked the food! Both got noodles, one street noodle with chicken and one pad see ew with chicken. Prices are super reasonable and the food tastes good, especially compared to some of the other options in the area. Excited to try more of their food. Chill music and good service. Nice casual option.“

“We love coming to this place for a Thai cuisine! I would say the service rates three out of five since they are so busy, and take quite a while to get you seated. However it's doesn't come as a surprise, the food is amazing. Typically always pair my curry or the pad sew with one of there Thai iced tea. Overall, this is the best Thai spot in Rosemead area. Atmosphere is cozy but definitely on the loud side your looking for a romantic spot this wouldn't be it. You“

“Thai Thyme is one of the best, if not he best Thai Food I’ve ever tried. Pad Thai is wonderful. Entres are perfect and soups are made with the best veggies and broth ever. We love it here. Cannot recommend it more ? We got mango sticky rice for dessert and came in a heart shape. Worth driving to Monrovia and experiencing these amazing plates. Plus service is wonderful. Very attentive and graceful. Please enjoy it for yourself.“

“Fabulous restaurant and loved sitting at the kitchen counter watching all the action. The food was spectacular and watching the efficiency on how the Chef directed everyone was amazing. Having worked in the industry for 15 years and personally having managed restaurants, I was still blown away.“

“We came on a Sunday, it is somewhat busy. The location has a few small Thai stands. We ordered the mango sticky rice coconut cakes and green onion coconut cakes. They are $10 ( each has around 8 pieces ).The coconut cakes are sweet , creamy and flavorful, they made it right in front of you so they come out warm. The mango is sweet and not sour so we are satisfied. Remember to bring cash cause they accept cash & zelle. After they take your order, they give you a ticket and they make your food. You just need to bring that ticket to get your food. The wait is around 25 minutes for the food, and there are 3 long tables next to the stand so you can eat there. We walk around the Thai grocery store across the coconut cake stand when waiting for food.It is a nice place to experience some Thai coconut cakes! Would recommend this place.“

“Very inviting atmosphere, incredibly cozy. I'd love to take someone on a date here if I lived in the area. Great food, I've only been there once but I can vouch for their Tom Kha and their Spicy Basil. Very affordable for the area. Their bathroom is very small and placed at the back corner of their kitchen, you need to ask to go use it. Would love to come again.“

“Wonderful! Highly recommend this restaurant. The orange chicken, jasmine rice and spinach was amazing and the chicken was tasty and tender. We also ordered the milk fried chicken, rice noodles, and power greens which was equally amazing. The staff were very nice and attentive.“

“This is by far the best Thai restaurant in the Greater Los Angeles area. The presentation of the food is always perfect, they use the freshest ingredients, and the staff is great. We can order the same dish every time & it always tastes amazing. We will literally order too much food just so we can have left overs... can't get enough of Yum Zaap!“

“Star Leaf is a new Asian (Thai) fusion restaurant in Pasadena, California. The restaurant is nicely design with comfortable seating. I visited them on a Thursday evening. The hostess was friendly. Tonia, the waitress had a warm smile and very attentive. I started with a Lychee Martini which was ok. The cocktail Kamata Club Blue had a very nice presentation. The Wild Salmon in Thai Vinaigrette was a refreshing appetizer. I also had the Thai Royal Curry with Soft Shell Crabs and Madame Noi’s Pork Collar. For dessert, I finished with Tropical Panna Cotta Coconut Bowl. I enjoyed the dinner. I have one more good restaurant on my dining list.“

“A very small Thai restaurant but great food. There isn't a very big parking lot in the back but you can find parking nearby on the streets. There also isn't many tables inside so that is why the wait times get so long. Luckily, we came at a good time and didn't have to wait. The employees are friendly and have good service too.We ordered the pad thai, pad see ew, chicken satay, khao soi. The satay was okay but I really liked the pad thai and pad see ew. However, the portions are a bit on the smaller side for the price. One dish is barely enough for one person. But I guess the size is good for trying different dishes with friends.“

“Hainan chicken was incredible. Rice was good but it will be excellent, if they use little better quality rice. Still it was excellent. Servers was very friendly & helpful, price just incredible. This place is way better than Savoy! Highly recommend this place!!!!“

“Hands down some of the best Thai Food I've had throughout NorCal and SoCal. While I regret being so damn full every time I leave, I can confidently say I've enjoyed everything I've had. 5/5 - Pad See Ew Flavorful, great portions, and came out piping hot. They serve the spicy vinegar with it but you don't even need it, even when you get to the last 25%. 4.8/5 - Kwan's Pad Thai Girlfriend got this, was great. With or without lime, the flavor comes through and is delicious. Noodles were cooked well and when you take a bite with some Papaya Salad? Immaculate. 4.5/5 - Papaya Salad Yummy and spicy. No complaints here. 4/5 - Fried Shrimp Roles Damn good and just the right amount of crunchy. Portion size was quite generous too. 5/5 - Panang Curry SO GOOD. Not too sweet, not too savory and comes with just the right amount of rice. I got it with chicken but I'm curious how the other meat options would taste. My mouth is drooling a bit thinking about it. 4.5/4 - Chicken Satay Yum. Good with or without the peanut (?) like sauce. Chicken had a nice bite and was very soft on the inside. Comes on skewers so be careful not to stab your mouth as you inhale these. Longan Drink Hard to rate a drink but it was yummy. Not too sweet and had a good taste to it. A little pricey for how much you get but I'd say it was pretty worth. Service was pretty good with the staff being very attentive and coming around asking if you needed anything or had any questions. There was a family that obviously never had eaten Thai food before and it was sweet to see the server being very friendly with an explanation on the items. Definitely recommend coming here for a meal.“

“Hello! Well being that I have gone to Thailand, I think my review will be valid. First things first is the welcome value 5 stars. The most sincere and pleasant staff. Service time above average. Plating was very visually appealing. Had the lunch special eggplant. Was cooked to my perfection. Overall what was most important was the smiles. That is what made the experience a full star rating.“

“I've been here several times for a quick meal. It's definitely more of a "mom & pops" shop. Their pricing is much more affordable, considering the rising costs of everything. I had the #5. ½ chicken teriyaki & short ribs. Also requested double mac, not a fan of the salad. The taste of the chicken and ribs were great. I love the taste like it's been cooked over a hot grill. This place gets very busy at times, my best suggestion would be to phone in your order. They do not accept card payments, CASH ONLY.“

“Excellent vegan food. I got the vegan pho, which was HUGE. Normally vegan pho comes with more vegetable in it and this one comes with only spinach, so I decided to order a side of steamed broccoli. But when the soup came, I was shocked at how big the portion was. To be honest I was starving and even then I could have not ordered the broccoli and been fine. There was plenty of spinach in the phon and it was packed full of flavor. The waitress was very friendly and the place was clean. Parking was ok, I ended up parking on the residential street to the left of the restaurant because the lot seemed too packed directly in front of the restaurant.Vegetarian options: EverythingDietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten-free“

“When we walked we got off to a rough start when it took a little while to be seated. There are signs that ask patrons to be patient, which sets up your expectations. The ladies working there are so cute and very welcoming. They hustled and were kind and polite. We ordered Pad Si Ewe and Satay and both were flavorful and delicious. We also ordered mango with sticky rice, which came with a huge portion. I have no words on how good the food was! Great place would go again.“

“Small operation with BIG taste! We usually drive 20-30 minutes to Thai Town, but wanted to stay local. Thai Touch had the best reviews in the area, and after trying it, I can see why. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, with 5-6 tables and probably a capacity of sitting maybe 13-15 people at a time. Our party of 2 came on a Saturday at 6pm and there was no wait. There's a parking lot. They were busy with delivery orders though. The food was really, really good. We'd recommend the mango fish, pineapple curry, and pad thai. We'll be back to try the mango sticky rice. Pro-tip if you've read this far, the Yelp check in deal when dining in person is 25% off your order. That's probably the best check in deal I've ever seen on Yelp. You're welcome ;)“

“"Hidden gem" definitely describes Eden Thai. It's an unassuming little restaurant, but absolutely worth supporting. The food is great for the price (the pineapple fried rice is my personal favorite), and they have free delivery available. The owners are very sweet as well. Now that the pandemic is over, this place deserves a good update in interior decor to really get people to come in and stay for indoor dining!“

“Love this new find! Lots of delicious gluten free options, which are clearly marked on the menu. They use locally sourced and whenever possible organic veggies. No msg. “Nice little Cafe that serves Thai and Indonesian with a small market that sells Indonesian Staples. The restaurant has a very cozy feeling but the music and customers can be a bit loud. The menu consists of Thai and Indonesian dishes. The food is authentic and very tasty, be careful with the spicy level. The spicy dishes are spicy. The portion is okay and priced very well for what you get The service can use some work but it looks like a family run business and it is probably why the food is authentic and unique. Overall it was a good experience and I would come back regularly.“

“Wow! The crab noodles are out of this world. Very tasty, with a nice balance of sweet and slightly sour. The Tom kha came with real crab, too. The service was lovely, by the owner, and the ambiance is nice and quiet. Relaxing spot where you can enjoy a nice homestyle meal. In the area, I would argue the food quality is better than President Thai's. This is real, Thai authentic! Can't wait to go back and try other dishes.“

“Fish without fish that tasted better than fish?? Get outta here. I'm a prolific meat eater and had a great time here. Moreover, our meal felt comforting in a way that most vegan restaurants I've eaten at aren't able to capture. 10/10, will come again with my animal loving friends.“

“Excellent food, great staff and vibe. A busy place for good reason. We were in a motel close by for a few days during some home improvements. Liked it so much we did take-out twice. The string beans were the best I've ever had. Even my husband's often dull cashew chicken was noteworthy. All cooked fresh and fast. 100% recommended. We'll collect ourselves or have delivery now we're back in our space not that far up the road. Maybe tonight!“

“Ordered twice from here and each time the food was excellent. Everything was packaged perfectly and the appetizers stayed crisp even when we order take out. “This Thai spot is phenomenal. The owner cooks food that is authentic, plated beautifully, and unapologetically flavorful. Each bite is a time travel bomb that takes me back to the time I was gorging myself at street food vendor stalls in Bangkok. The location is within an office space area used for AA and community meetings. It comes across humble and the dining area is separate from the actual community building space. The tables are clean and extremely well kept. The owner clearly pays attention to detail when it comes to maintaining her dining area and silverware/cutlery. The owner herself is very accommodating and welcoming. She takes the time to answer questions about the menu and offers adjustments to spice levels if needed. She also cooks and serves all the food herself with the help of one other individual in the back kitchen, so patience is key but completely worth the time investment. The food was so outrageously delicious I didn't have time to take more pics the first time I went. It was so good in fact, I came back immediately the next day to try the crab fried rice pictured below. The serving sizes are generous and the spice and flavor is second to none. I'm so impressed with how high quality all the dishes are and everything tastes so impeccably fresh. Crab fried rice - the crab meat is legitimately fresh and generously portioned. The rice is well seasoned and the veggies mixed in with the egg are a perfect compliment to the crab. I really enjoyed this dish and it comes with a side of spicy seasoning sauce you can add to kick up the heat a notch. Crying Tiger - not pictured below, but man what a stand out dish. The flavor of the rib eye pieces are so well balanced and the dipping sauce for the meat is so distinct it really adds depth to the rice and salad accompaniments. I really enjoyed the dressing on the salad as well, and the amount again did not disappoint. I have nothing but overall praise to give this place and I know I will be frequenting this spot often for the foreseeable future.“

“This place rocks. They accommodated all of mine and my boyfriend's dietary restrictions with such care and the food was honestly ridiculously good. So happy we tried it!! My pad thai was perfect (a wonderful gluten free option) and my boyfriend loved the green curry with beef. I also got a thai iced tea with boba and it was delicious. “Was passing through on a Sunday afternoon when the Wife and I searched for Thai lunch...ran across this quaint place. Food came out hot and fresh. Quality and quantity were good for the price and the presentation was quite surprising... well done (see photos). Service was friendly and quite hospitable. This place is quite small, so it is recommended to either call for takeout or show up in small groups of 4 or less as seating is very limited, but quite a treat for the sitdown service. We had Pad Thai and Pad See ew and Thai Tea. Definitely recommend and we will be back.Parking: The parking lot is small and limited as this location does have other businesses.“

“An intimate Thai eatery with nice date ambiance and elevated prices to match. Staff was friendly but not very attentive. Parking can be a bit hard to find on the street so your best bet is at the lots/garages nearby when it gets busy. Pretty small restaurant, could see there being a wait on the weekends. We came later on a Thursday night. Tried the Pearl summer roll, Thai fried rice, and green curry. The summer (spring?) rolls were incredibly overpriced, just a bunch of cheap salad ingredients wrapped in rice paper with (way too sweet) peanut sauce and mustard (???) on the side. Definitely skip! Thai fried rice was good but too sweet for my taste, I much prefer Nine & Nine's version (close by & cheaper). The green curry, though, was one of the best I've had in LA so far. I highly recommend. Really creamy and well flavored, with tender bamboo shoots, chicken, and veggies. And a nice spicy kick to finish! Would come back to try more of the curries.“
“Food court restaurant, Chinese speaking mostly. Tried their Tom Yum noodle before, a bit salty but good taste. My favorite dish here is their Chinese broccoli with Crispy Pork. Goes great with rice and very tasty. Pineapple fried rice here is also very decent.Overall, great neighborhood/food court restaurant with good dishes for decent money.“

“Pretty solid Thai food. Came here for a late lunch (after 230pm). It didn't seem too crowded. However, the service was noticeably slow. Maybe the staff was new or short staffed this particular day. Not certain. ?The food was decently flavored with nice condiments. Ordered the drunken noodles, 7 seafood fried rice, and seafood soup. The soup came out timely. All was seasoned nicely. Liked the spicy condiments. The menu had a decent selection of seafood and veggies. Portion is a nice size. I ordered some food to go as well. The decor was clean, airy, and modern. Would come back again.**Came back again after the initial review. Service was rude and rushed. Maybe it was a bad day for the servers. Do NOT get the curry. It's absolutely distasteful. They need to get this item off the menu.“

“I'm not a huge fan of Thai food but I really enjoyed every dish we ate here. We ordered their papaya salad, larb, green curry with brisket, and eggplant delight. You can adjust the level of spiciness for each plate. We asked for medium heat for most but that was a bit spicy for some of us. Service was fast and friendly. There is plenty of parking in the lot.“

“Why have I waited so long to try this place? We ordered tofu and broccoli off their lunch special as well as chicken pad see ew. The lunch special comes with vegetable soup but they brought out an extra one which was so generous and kind. The soup doesn’t look all that appetizing at first but wow does it make up just glorious savory, garlicky flavor. Both entrees were excellent, seasoned just right. The entree size pad see ew was enough for us to share. Looking forward to going back and trying more dishes!“
“My first experience with Thai food was when my dad took me to Thai Spirit back in 1982. While it might not be the same name of the restaurant (I do believe it is though) the location is the same. That first taste of Pad Thai and an order of their roasted duck left an indelible mark on me, and I can happily report that Thai Spirit is still serving up some good Thai food. From their flavorful roasted duck to the choice of fried fish (trout or salmon), everything hits the spot. And let's not forget about their delicious Pad Thai - it's as mouthwatering as ever! Back in the early 2000s, we used to order from Thai Spirit all the time, and even with the influx of Thai restaurants in the area, Thai Spirit remains a standout. The authenticity and flavor are just as impressive as they were back in 1982. It's 2024 now so that spans 42 years of eating at this restaurant. That's pretty remarkable.“

“This was a restaurant I stumbled upon while buying egg tarts nearby at Phu’s bakery. They have a lot of options and have large portions. I had bought the dishes home. Pad see ew, rad na (thick rice noodles with gravy), and pad soon sen. these were all delicious. The catfish dish was alright. I probably won’t order that again as it was quite hard and sweet.Service was good for to-go. Ambiance: They have quite a bit of seating and can accommodate large groups.“

“I've been to this place several times, and I love their Thai curry! If this place gets crowded, it does get a bit hectic, but that's just how good they are. Price range for each person could average between $15-20 since most of their items are around that price.Parking is near the back on the main street in a garage, but I would be careful if you try to leave your car to discover the area since they do close it. If you're not able to find parking in the garage, which has happened to me several times, parking on the street can be a bit difficult if you want to park close to the restaurant. Most times, I just park on the residential area so I can walk to my car after getting full.“

“It’s a very casual dine-in Thai restaurant that serve authentic food, well, based on the menu because I ordered BBQ Chicken ?. Either way, the food was good and it came around $23.The chicken I ordered had a good sauce glazed on top and it also can with rice, a fried snack, a salad (or soup), and a sweet sauce you can pour on your meal which went very well with the rice. After I finished they offered me a small sweet bean soup as dessert for free which was also good. For drinks I ordered a Thai iced tea w/ boba to go along with my meal and a Thai iced coffee to go; both were very good.Next time I’ll try to order something more ambitious than something from the appetizer section.Edit: Around year after, I went back to this place and tried the shrimp cakes. Beautiful, this shrimp tasted good and the bread was very crispy. The black rice pudding is still my favorite.“

“Spices Thai Kitchen is a To-go only restaurant. No tables for seating. Service is wonderful and you order immediately when you walk in. I truly enjoyed the Thai food here and that the dishes had a good portion size and was not overly sweet. The Papaya Salad was sour but still good. I found that the Pad Se Ew needed more shrimps. “One of the best Thai food spots in Pasadena/Altadena- and that’s quite an achievement given the competition. Miya sets themselves apart with a well crafted menu, cozy and uniquely decorated space, and neatest of all, every Tuesday they have an all vegetarian menu with some unforgettable choices. Honestly worth checking out before the place inevitably becomes famous and the line for a table always out the door! Also huge shout out to the staff who took the time to walk us through the menu, explain how the restaurant dining choices worked, and generally went above and beyond to make the experience match the quality of the food!“
