The drinks are expensive but very strong, as the name of the establishment suggests. I ordered the drunken noodles and banana batida, hubby ordered the shrimp appetizer and zombie king drink. There's nothing I would change or do differently. We had a party of 80 and everyone has been texting today saying how good the food was. Go try them out, you won't regret it. Owners are pretty amazing too, super friendly and down to earth. Thank you Baran!!!!❤️”

John who was our server was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, professional, very helpful in navigating the very interesting menu. “On 6/20/2015 a Friday, I ordered the Chilaquiles with green chile. Added chorizo for protein and 2 over easy eggs. Black coffee. With a modest 20% tip, I paid $24.78.
Not bad for quite possibly the best Chilaquiles I had in a while. Some may argue its pricey, but I paid for great taste, generous portions, and quality.
In my opinion as someone who has eaten my fair share of these types of meals I received value.
I took my time to savor every bite.
The bright shades of green of the avocado on top was just right. The bright orange chorizo was well cooked and was not too spicy. Just look at the contrasting colors on this plate! The egg yolks broke perfectly allowing the bright yellow-orange delicious yolk to drip all over the green chile and crispy tortilla chips. The green chile had a citrusy lime tangy flavor perfectly balancing and complimenting all the ingredients. The mix of different textures and flavors was the best part!

The chef was from Japan and had fifty years experience as a sushi chef in Japan. The food was amazing and I can’t state that enough. It was to die for. Some of the best real sushi I’ve had in years and not Tex mex sushi. This was an emphasis on the fish. The Wagyu was some of the best I’ve had in years. Everything was amazing. I will be back.”

This individual was in a wheelchair and the employee helping him was patient with him, helped him to his table outside, took his food, placed his food within his reach and was just super sweet to him. She really and truly went above and beyond. The shift lead, or manager (unsure of her position), also did her best to fix any issues any customer had in a timely and quick manner. Excellent service.

Most companies just write short generic apologies and give an email for any further quedtions so this shows they really want to do better. And that's all im asking for. This is my nearest subway so I've gone here many many times and know the hours, but if I'm going loser to closing time I still call to see if they are actually open so I don't show up just to find the door locked early. Tonight, that's what happened. I was told they close at 12 (midnight) showed up at 11:40 p.m. but the door was locked. The employee was mopping and had all the chairs already stacked up and all food was already put away so he clearly had closed everything down even earlier then when I showed up. I've worked closing shifts at a restraunt many times so I get that employees want to just get off and go home at the end of the night. Closing down any type of food establishment can take a while. However that's your job! Working a closing shift almost never means getting off right at closing in the restraunt industry. If the hours say open until midnight, you don't close at 11:15.still, it wouldn't have bothered me enough to write a review, except the employee working just turned his back to us and completely ignored us and another customer that had showed up at the same time. That is just rude and unnecessary. At least acknowledge the customers and apologize or explain why you needed to close down so early. It's really simple.”

“My friends and I made dinner reservations at Tulum OC and it was by far the best experience. Pedro, our server was so attentive, funny and overall a pleasure to interact with during our dinning experience. He gave us recommendations and guided us through the menu. He also answered all of my questions, which was very kind of him. Drinks: I personally ordered the Spicy Jalapeño Margarita, my cousin ordered the Margarita Flight (Mango, Strawberry, Cucumber Cilantro, and Watermelon), and my friend ordered the Smoked Pineapple Margarita. Overall, the drinks were FANTASTIC! Very delicious! They paired really well with the free chips and salsa (Side Note: THE GREEN SALSA WAS SO GOOD!!) The Fajita veggies were perfectly seasoned and paired perfectly with the steak. And the guacamole and salsa added a perfect balance to the plate. I would get this again in a heartbeat! “We were here for the X-JAMM Elements of Sound event during NAMM 2019. I bought our tickets because of Devin Townsend, but we were both excited to see Larry Mitchell, OHM (guitar god Chris Poland) and Larry Mitchell perform live, as well. I had no idea what to expect from the venue itself; I bought tickets two days before the show and was super disappointed by our placement. We were in the front row, but sitting at stage right. I thought for sure I'd miss a lot because I am so vertically challenged. Turns out I had no reason to despair. Our seats were practically on stage. They set up a small row of seats where the pit would live (in another, non-seated venue). We had up-close views of all performers, and the audio was expertly mixed to allow us to experience the music in all its glory. We were shown to our seats right when we checked in, and instantly had one of the friendliest waitresses at our side, asking for our drink and/or food orders. We both asked for a Guinness and told her we might order food later (it's not food from the restaurant next door if you're curious; they only serve stadium-type items). She came back empty-handed, apologizing profusely that the bar was out of Guinness. We changed our orders, and let her know it was totally fine, but she was so sweet and I could tell she felt bad. She made it a point to check on us throughout the night (we did end up sharing an order of $8 nachos to go with our $8 beers; at least she hooked us up on the cheese sauce), making sure not to bother us while a performance was actually happening. Now that I know that this place exists, I'll keep an eye on their events calendar. I liked how easy it was to get there, and how friendly the staff was. I just know to plan to eat dinner ahead of time, to save money.”

It was hard to choose between all the craft cocktails, but we ended up ordering Lulu Lemons which were excellent! I play mixologist when entertaining at home, and when I expressed interest in recreating this drink for our friends, Stephanie was kind enough to share the recipe! The menu is full of yummy Texas-style BBQ options made from locally sourced meat, and it was hard to choose. We landed on brisket grilled cheese with a side of mac & cheese (can you have too much cheese?!) and a harvest brisket salad. Both were so delicious. The outside table area was pretty full and although she was covering a lot of tables, Stephanie was knowledgeable when guiding us through the menu, super attentive and personable to boot! We made a reservation on a Wednesday night (highly recommended in advance because they get very busy). The check in process was smooth, easy, and very quick. We were at our table within 5 minutes.
As soon as we got to our table, we had the MOST friendly server who helped us choose what food to decide on and what pairs best with what.
My food ratings:
- Chicken Xiao Long Bao: 10/10, the soup in them were outstanding. Perfect temperature and so much flavor (definitely dip in the ginger, soy and vinegar sauce).
- Chicken Fried Noodles: 7/10, they were not bad but not amazing. The flavor was not there. Probably would not order for a second time.
- Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin: 9/10, this was soooo good. They don’t give you a big portion for the price but honestly it was worth it. The meat, veggies and sauce had so much flavor and cooked perfectly.
- Chocolate and Mochi Xiao Long Bao: 1000/10, absolutely perfect, no questions asked, you better order this or there is no reason for you to be there. This dessert was the best we’ve ever had. The buns were warm with chocolate and mochi hot filling and melted in your mouth. Definitely recommend pairing it with the sea salt cream (it gives it a sweet and salty taste).

The weather was so hot that I went out to eat Korean cold noodles for the first time in a while. I ordered mul naengmyeon as the main dish and added spicy bibim naengmyeon noodles. The noodles are made by pulling them out directly in the store, so the taste is completely different from that of other restaurants that buy them from the supermarket.
The broth is also top-notch. It has almost no seasoning smell, so the taste is not strong, but it is the style of Pyongyang Naengmyeon in Korea.
You will know the taste of cold noodles after eating it 3-4 times. It is definitely ranked 2nd in the OC area for cold noodles.
If you think the cold noodles taste bland and not very tasty, add a spoonful of salt/dashi.”

“So I'll start with the good. The food was top-notch, the drinks were exquisitely crafted, and the tiki mugs were excellent.
My wife got the Pupu Plater. Every part of it was delicious, but the orange chilie wings really stood out as the best.
I got the Poke Bowl, Ahi tuna. The poke was good. It reminded me of a less spicy version of a poke back home. It's worth the price, at least.
For the drinks, I got a Shipwreck on the Rocks and Piranha Pool. The Shipwreck was strong but not overbearing. The Piranha Pool was very sweet and more of a dessert, I loved it.
My kids got cheeseburgers, pretty mid to be honest.
We did get dessert while we were there. I got the coconut cake, best coconut cake I've ever had.
No for the bad. Unfortunately when we showed up at 5pm, the hostess was quite rude. I had asked for inside seating and made it clear we didn't mind waiting. She snapped and told us it was too late and the kids could not go in there. The app shows kids can sit inside up until 8pm, if that's no longer the case it needs to be changed. I shouldn't be chastised by a hostess over it.
My next complaint still falls on the hostess, I requested seating in the shade since we are from Alaska and the heat was quite intolerable at times. She placed us directly in the sun, thankfully our server was able to move us to a better spot. I took 1 star off the service for the rude hostess, our waitress was fantastic.
The atmosphere really can't be helped much. We were seated outside, not inside as requested.
At the price point of $240 and the disappointing service of the hostess, we will not be returning to Trader Sam's Disneyland. I'll take the drive next time and find a different tiki bar.”

I gave a 3 star 🌟 for the food simply because the biggest Tbone offered is 13oz. I'm all about a nice thick 18-20oz 😋 Steak. The chef did an amazing job with what he/she had to work with.”

“Food itself was excellent with their tasty broth and tender meats. The udon noodles were amazing all around. The soup dumplings are a must try also with the pork inside being so savory. The service itself was very quick and using a self ordering kiosk is very easy and honestly convenient. Atmosphere wise the whole place is small so it creates a cozy vibe while you chow down on some awesome food. 10/10 will be coming back after our next disneyland trip.”
