“I had heard this is one of the best wineries in Napa Valley, and that turned out to be absolutely true. It’s one of the most visually stunning places I’ve ever visited—rolling hills, beautiful vineyards, and incredible architecture. The tour was absolutely worth it. Nancy was fantastic: extremely entertaining, informative, and clearly very knowledgeable about the winery’s history and its wines. As for the tasting, everything was excellent, and we ended up purchasing several bottles—it was well worth it. The quality is outstanding, and I would absolutely come back again.“

“Sequoia Grove was terrific, highly recommend. Their wines are delicious and their outdoor patio seating is so peaceful. There were three in our party and Vikki, who provided our tastings, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had such a good time and enjoyed their wine so much that we decided to join their wine club!“

“My wife and I ate here for dinner and had a fantastic experience. We had a couple different glasses of wine and our waiter was amazing at walking us through different samples of wine before we landed on ones we liked. The choices were great.

We were on our honeymoon and the waiter brought out complimentary glasses of rose sparkling wine which was delicious. We started with the beef tartar, the crudo, and sourdough rolls— each was delicious and a great start. Our main dishes were the pumpkin risotto and short rib, both delicious as well. The short rib was so tender it melted in my mouth. We ended with a toffee cake that was delicious and hit the spot.

The staff was incredible the entire time. Our waiter (I think Laura?) was amazing and even gave us a few recommendations on places to try during our visit, which we did!“

“My husband and I brought our family to Napa for what we called The 2025 Napa Valley Great Grape Escape. One of our reservations was with Far Niente’. We were blessed to be there on the morning of first day of harvest. Our host was amazing and super knowledgeable. The grounds were perfection. Our tasting was set up and waiting for us under a private outdoor pavilion. Not only were the wines so incredible…each taste was paired with a cheese, nut and dried fruit combination. “Hall Wines was an experience beyond anything that I could have imagined. When we came to wine taste at Hall, our expectations were not set. I've been too many wineries in St Helena, but I've never been to Hall. The grounds were absolutely immaculate. The winery was stunningly, beautiful. “Out of all of the wineries/vineyards we visited, we got the best education from B Cellars. Forest was a wealth of fascinating information about how wine is made. While we enjoyed our tasty charcuterie spread with our tastings, he showed us maps of all of the vineyards in the valley and explained the importance of the location of where a grape comes from. Our private tour of this stunning winery also included the caves, their gardens, honey bees, and it's production facility-all meticulously maintained. Wonderful experience.“

“We came to Louis M. Martini Winery to celebrate my cousin’s 30th birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

It was a busy Friday evening, but the manager found us a place to sit at the bar within about 10 minutes, and apologized for the wait (which was totally unnecessary). I had the surf and turf daily special and my wife had the filet medallions. We shared the butterscotch pudding for dessert, which I would highly recommend. The staff was attentive and the kitchen cooked our steaks to perfection. Highly recommend eating here if you’re in St. Helena“

Booked about a month in advance, and the experience was absolutely worth it. A beautiful winery surrounded by vineyards, with a fully open-air courtyard. We can even walk downstairs to see the vines up close. When it came to the tasting, the server walked us through each wine with a map, explaining the vineyard location and vintage in detail. As someone who doesn’t know much about wine, I was surprised that I could actually follow along — and found it genuinely interesting.

Did the four-wine tasting. The most memorable for me were:
• 2019 Trailside Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
This one felt very balanced and approachable. Smooth, not overwhelming, and easy to enjoy even without knowing much about wine..
• 2019 Martha’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Clearly the standout. More layered and elegant,it just tastes… more refined.

What really clicked for me was tasting the wines in order from lower to higher price — suddenly it made sense why the more expensive ones are considered better😁.

I’m not really into crowded, hype-driven places. I know Opus One is iconic and always busy, but this winery felt much more low-key and intimate. Beautiful setting, thoughtful service, and a truly hidden gem kind of experience. I really loved it and would happily come back.“

“Go while you can! Duckhorn has been purchased and the Paraduxx label is going to be shut down since it isn't making enough money for some bean-counter. Paraduxx is one of the few places doing something different in Napa and it will be a real loss.“

We were served by Laura and enjoyed tasting and learning about several of the estate's wines. We keep coming back to Laura Michael Wines because the variety and quality of the wines is great and both Laura and Michael are a great source of knowledge about wine which if, like us, you are looking to understand the details and nuances of wine, is important. “We recently did the Cave Tour with Sparkling and Red Wine Tasting. First off, the location is beautiful. Secondly, the tour with Tony was engaging, informational, and a great overall experience. The caves are fascinating to learn about and see how they age their sparkling wine. The tasting was exceptional and a treat to get to experience some of the finer offerings. This is also one of the more unique experiences in the area because of the sparkling wine. Book it - you won't regret!“
