“We have been going to the seafood House for over 25 years. The food is excellent and the service is great. It's one of the best dimsum restaurants in Southern California.Parking: We have always been able to find parking at different times of the day.Kid-friendliness: We have been taking our grandkids for over 20 years, and we still take them today!“
“I tried this restaurant for the first time and ordered the Bulgogi Rice Bowl and it was amazing. The price is well worth it because the food comes in big portions. The lady there was very sweet and we got our food pretty quickly. The place was empty but everything was clean. I absolutely recommend eating there!Parking: There are lots of shops nearby so parking right outside the restaurant might be a little difficult.“
“Nice little gem we recently found. Place was clean & inviting and one of the cooks did a great job explaining the menu to us. We ordered the cheese Katsu meals and the portions are perfect! Really enjoyed the salad and dressing that topped it. Bowl of miso and rice were the perfect touch to complete the meal. Cheese katsu was amazing and the food was hot and fresh and the service was great. Definitely going to put this on our list of "places to return to"“
“The best bowl of beef pho you can find in Compton! the broth Is cooked perfectly.. also love the chili oil & wontons. it's a family owned business I usually order takeout and the temperature is always consistent And food always up to par.“
“Every Once in a While the Best Surprise is One You Never Saw Coming! The Bowl & Plate Eatery is Exactly That!!! Driving south on Magnolia Street in Anaheim Sunday, Feb. 25 around 6pm. Just before I reached Ball Road, I remembered there used to be a 'hole-in-the-wall' Italian restaurant tucked into the northeast corner of a little strip mall there. It's been a while so I wasn't sure what I'd find but I made the left turn into the parking lot to explore. No more Italian restaurant (sigh). But in its place I see a quaint looking sign proclaiming the new establishment's name: The Bowl & Plate Eatery. Some quick Internet searching gave sufficient details to convince me to enter...that and my growling stomach! A tasteful and minimalist small dining area offered seating for perhaps 15 guests. Upon my arrival this particular Sunday evening, I was one of three. The owner gestured for me to take a seat, brought over a menu and offered a smile so warm and bright I knew she loved what she was creating here. Seriously, her exuberance was evident in abundance. I'm now even more convinced I made the right choice for this evening's dinner. I won't list the whole menu but I will speak of my selections: - Chicken Vegetable Dumplings - Steak Salad - Choco Roti with Ice Cream Everything is infused with blended Asian flavors. The dumplings were perfectly seared on the bottom, offering a nice crispy-crunch with every bite. Their dipping sauce added just the right amount of 'Zip!' without being overpowering. The steak salad was heaping with fresh leafy greens of several varieties and the steak bites were perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned. The Choco Roti with ice cream was a last minute addition and WOW! am I glad I did. Small wedges of delicately toasted flat bread, drizzled with sweet icings and a touch of cinnamon, served with a healthy scoop of vanilla ice cream, also drizzled with icing. A great combination of sweetness and savory to end a fantastic meal. Mind you, The Bowl & Plate Eatery is not staffed by a team of experts, cranking out cookie-cutter meals-o-plenty. No No! It was staffed by the owner of that amazing smile, who also happens to own the restaurant. She handled it all, from greeting and seating, to explaining, order taking, meal preparing and serving. She's even her own busboy! And all of it in a timely, orderly manner. No rushing nor resting. A model of efficiency and a skilled chef t'boot. No need to ask if I will return. I will have to add this to my monthly restaurant sojourn list. The owner said she's been there for 3 years now and I fault myself for not discovering The Bowl & Plate sooner. And please note, this is not the steam-table Asian food take-out style place. This is well-crafted dishes prepared with passion and heaped with love of craft. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for this but with every bite you'll know it is So, SO Worth It! I'm hopeful The Bowl & Plate is well-visited to keep it in business. This level of original and fresh is rare indeed. I'll keep doing my part! Now it's your turn! Get to The Bowl & Plate for lunch or dinner today!“
“Been going here with my little siblings for a few years now. Their ramen is delicious and never disappoints, always finishing the last drop!!Their waiters are sweet and great service. I would go here from time to time and it's still good as always!!“
“Called in an order today based on recommendations on Yelp! The person taking my order was very quick and helpful. He said it would be ready in 15/20 minutes. Located on Del Amo/Bellflower it was easy to find. Large lot but very busy as there are a few food stores there. There was a small line ordering when we arrived. Two of the six tables available were taken. I noticed on the menu board Wednesdays are $1 a wing day. We were served by a very friendly associate who grabbed our order promptly. My order consisted of 6 Garlic Parm Wings 6 Sweet and Spicy Wings. Garlic Noodles with Tri Tip and a Ninja Quesadilla The food was great, very tasty and spicy where it needed to be. Will definitely go again“

“It’s Anaheim and this place is a hidden gem. Food is authentic. Portion is huge for nowadays. So far, we tried Pho, chicken fish sauce, bún chả Hanoi, shaken Salmon with garlic noodle, bun thit nuong, spring rolls. I like the fish sauce chicken so much I have to it every time I come here. Wells, it’s my second time :) but this place will be my home place when I am craving for Vietnamese food.Kid-friendliness: The owner is so nice offered my son a little bowl of pho soup no charge :)“
“Flavor: 5/5 - The tuna melt and tomato soup combo is incredible, creating a perfect soup and sandwich experience for a cold day.Price: 4/5 - The prices were quite reasonable.Quality: 4/5 - Well-crafted and homemade recipes, with some ingredients listed as organic. However, the presence of additives and cooking oil quality remains unknown.Service: 4/5 - The lady who took my order was kind, and the food arrived promptly.Ambiance: small, quaint, and geared towards takeout.“
“Everything from the entrance to seating, vibe /music & of course food. Everyone has been so friendly & attentive & the food is fresh, savory & delicious. Feels like we're visiting friends. We'll definitely be coming by more.“
“Went at 5:30-6:30 and there was no one in the restaurant. So as I sat down and ordered the shaken beef with fries not sure what to expect. However when the food came I was quite surprised with the quality, with the beef chunks being perfectly seasoned and tender as can be and the fries being crispy on the outside with a soft and warm interior. I went with family and ordered 5 other dishes, all of which also surpassed all expectations and left us satisfied and collectively agreeing this place is much too underrated for the quality and value of the food.“
“Happened to be in the neighborhood, so thought we'd give it a try.We ordered green curry, pad krapow and grilled beef "crying tiger."Green curry was good. Pad krapow was the best. It has just the right punch to it; very flavorful. Sadly the grilled beef was chewy and overcooked. It was so overcooked that it tasted more like beef jerky. A big disappointment. We will come back for the pad krapow and will try some other dishes.“
“Yesterday I had gone to Kare with my friends and family , first the side options had a very wide range , as well as main dishes, I definitely recommend the gyoza unfortunately we ate them before taking pictures, with a crunchy outside and warm inside ! very enjoyable. Also the girl who had helped us was very kind and patient with our order since it was new to us. 100/10 recommend if you ever go to Rodeo!“
“This place is hidden on 4th street. There is plenty of street parking in front of the restaurant. It's not that busy later in the evening. The service was quick. The ambiance is super cute with the cherry blossom tree and the art on the wall with the chicken. This is a cashless place since they recently got robbed. So make sure to help out this small business!I got the original hainan chicken rice. Everything was flavorful and spiced right. The sauces that came with it was perfect. I love how chicken is cooked steamed as it was juicy and not try. I would get this again. If you're sick, get their herbal chicken soup. It has 5 spices and Gojo berry, which is beneficial when you're sick. I definitely will be back here to try their bubble teas too!“
“I love sugar cane & I am very open to trying new places with new flavors.I was in the Cerritos Area having dinner with my little family. I came across this place called Vita Cane. My daughter & I wanted to try their drinks. This shop is new & it's located in a strip mall near the other food & drink places. It's near Sprouts if you have a difficult time finding it. Vita Cane services healthier alternatives for rehydration. I chose the Mojito Orange Bang & my daughter chose the Coco Melon. As I took a few sips of the Mojito Orange Bang, it tasted very similar to this fruit called Calamansi. The drink itself was sweet & a little sour, but very refreshing. I want to try their Lemon Berry Berry cane & the Fire Dragon. The staff were so sweet & friendly. The ambiance was very vibrant. There is a giant mural & bright LED signs inside the shop. Bathrooms are clean as well.“
“Hands down my favorite boba place, absolutely ecstatic i no longer have to go to Downey for it. So many flavors, so many toppings, so many options beyond just boba.Their specialty drinks are so tasty and cute– definitely make your friends feel the FOMO when you post a Traffic Light (three flavors and colors in ? ?layers. Also they're doing something no other boba place I've seen do: reusable boba cups with boba straws. When i went they said they weren't for sale YET so maybe sometime soon...Also they went all out for Halloween decor, which was so cute and fun.“
“THAT FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! Good price, sweetest owners ever! Gave us a bunch of extra things. My new go to spot!! Also incredible pre-pandemic style prices!!! Sitting there eating that delicious food was so peaceful and made my whole Wednesday HUGE PORTIONS!!!“
“Came here this morning with my family and wow the food was so good! I think what I really like about it was all the food we got tasted homemade and the price point is pretty great too compared to the prices in the Bolsa area. Needless to say, I will definitely be back. I look forward to trying the other dishes on the menu.“
“Exceeded expectations here. First time at this location and was blown away by the food. Got three egg sandwiches on round bread, buy 2 get one free. Sooo good! Toasted with cucumbers, daikon, cilantro, fresh jalapenos with a little added soy sauce and special mayonnaise like sauce. Really like the fact that it's toasted and it has cucumbers, unlike some other banh mi places I've tried. Vietnamese coffee and soy bean drinks and service were excellent as well. We will be back. Less than $4.50 per sandwich is a phenomenal deal!“
“To celebrate a birthday we stopped at this local sushi place around 2:00 pm on a Saturday. It’s small with just tables and chairs but cozy and the staff was quick to serve us. Everything tasted great…. salmon bowl, baked salmon roll, monster roll and appetizers. They even played a happy birthday song and everyone in the restaurant sang to the birthday girl. This is a place we’ll visit again when looking for some sushi.“
“Stepping into DD Cafe, I was greeted with the the warm smile of Jasmine behind the counter. The staff here are incredibly friendly, exemplifying excellent customer service. They listen to every order, take time to answer questions, and ensure each drink is crafted to the customer's preferences. The ladies usually remember regulars' names and usual orders, making everyone feel like a valued member of the DD Cafe community. The atmosphere is laidback, lively, and inviting. The owner Darlene has created such a stellar service and welcoming ambience keep customers coming back again and again.“
“I love the Chinese food from this location. Been coming here for years. I normally order the noodles, orange chicken and chicken mushrooms with squash! Their soups are also delicious I normally get it with shrimp and chicken. And I always make sure to get egg rolls. I come here frequently when I'm in the mood for Chinese food.“
“Had an absolutely amazing time here. Celebrated a coworkers going away party here and loved every minute. The establishment and ambiance themselves are immaculate and the food and drinks were incredible. The layout is perfect and conducive to an excellent time for watching sports or singing karaoke. Will absolutely be coming back to enjoy Cutie Lounge“
“Came here on weekday for lunch special $14 Tuna Bowl with my elderly mom. Lots of people there for lunch. Saw few Japanese there to dine in so must be authentic. Tuna Bowl also came with some side dishes and miso soup. Food served fast and $14 included tax that is a bonus.“
“I ordered the com tam bi thit nuong dhky. The bi is more fragrant. The dau hu ky here is the best I've had. Liked that the soup comes out hot and not overly msg. Only thing is the pickled cabbage wasn't pickled enough for me. But my mom ate all the pickles, a first for her. She said she liked the bitter crunchiness. Overall, really enjoyed our first visit. Definitely will be back.“
“The House Special Fish Filet is very good. I like the orange chicken more than most places as it wasn't overcooked as I hate when places over fry it to chewiness, it was tender here. I liked the green beans as well the Kung Pao. Its' outsides are under construction but the inside looks fine.“
“I met my friend here for lunch as it is one of his go-to places for Tawainese/Chinese homestyle food. He ordered us a good amount of things to try - including the Three Cups Chicken, Stinky Tofu, pork spare ribs, Tawainese sausage and buns, and veggies. We had plenty to eat and everything was delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with the food here.“
