“Very good customer service and vibes I love the decorations and how clean it is. The ramen and potstickers were very filling and definitely worth trying. I keep coming back for the spicy tonkatsu ramen but the sushi was not very good especially for the price...

Another complaint I have is the chopsticks feel very cheap and hard to work with plus $2.50 for a can of coke isn't really something to look forward to with your meal

​From the moment I stepped into Akai Asian, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm, inviting ambiance and the sight of happy, cordial diners immediately set a fantastic mood. I felt genuinely welcomed by the staff, who guided me through their extensive menu—and wow, was I blown away by the selection!
​For my first visit, I ordered the Chicken Bento Box, and it was easily a 5-star dish. It was a well-balanced masterpiece!
​The box featured a delightful salad with corn, which was perfectly topped with a nice sesame seed oil dressing—it was incredibly savory and very tasty. It also included four delicious California rolls. Alongside these were some fried veggies and fried shrimp. They were very pleasant; not overwhelmingly greasy or heavy, but perfectly fried right to the bite. Lastly, the star was the delicious chicken served on top of fresh veggies and rice. Everything was perfectly prepared, showcasing the high quality and fresh flavors of Asian cuisine.

But to be honest the customer service is not very good. Yesterday when I was trying to order my food the Asian girl at the front was too busy to even talk to me because she was on the phone while I stood there for 10 minutes trying to ask a question. After I got my food I nicely asked for some extra sauces and she gave me a look with attitude. Someone needs to train this girl on how to provide good customer service because of that youll be losing your customers no matter how good your food is.“

Only bummer, when we, as a family, went to celebrate my birthday on Saturday, we presented a gift certificate my husband & I were gifted from my Kids. “They changed my mind about plain chicken with the ginger dip. Literally the best plain chicken I've ever had.
It's tucked away in the mall and I would've never tried it if a family friend hadn't recommended it. But it's SO GOOD. I don't know exactly what it's called but it's basically the main dish, they even have a picture of it plastered on the wall.
The cashier lady at the front was really sweet and efficient. Def recommend giving this place a try!“

“My curiosity was rewarded. I had the 4 garlic wing, fries special, $11, and it was delicious. I didn't realize a Vietnamese- style chicken wing even existed. The meat was very tender, and one of the drum sticks was about the size of a squash ball. The fries were separated from the chicken, and very nicely and crisply fried.

“The spot is located on the premises of the Garden Grove Home Depot. They have three tables set up right by their spot with a total of seven chairs.

The staff, which included a man and a woman were nice.

I had the beef teriyaki bowl and I was surprised it was so delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection, the teriyaki sauce was not too rich in consistency or watery, and not overwhelmingly sweet, it was perfect. The rice had the perfect texture too. 5/5

I also had a corn dog and it was the first thing I ate. Hehe he, I was pretty hungry. It was indeed better than other corn dogs I've had.

I also witnessed a belligerent woman who was being so rude and disrespectful to the staff and the staff remained calm and very respectful after the woman was making all sorts of rude comments. Props to them for handling the situation with the utmost professionalism and respect despite the way they were being mistreated.

Overall, I had a positive experience with some delicious beef teriyaki and I'll be going for more. If you have not visited them I highly recommend you do.“

“We just had our mandatory Hmart food court date this weekend and tried out KZ Mori. For $19 we got the Mix Katsu Combo with Curry served on the side. The tray came with miso soup, cabbage salad and katsu sauce! Pickled radishes were at the counter for self service as well! We were there late afternoon so the wait for food was quick, about 10 minutes before our order was done. Portions are huge, we ended up sharing the entree between the two of us! Light batter on the katsu slices, with such a good crunch to each bite! The chicken tasted a tad juicier than the pork but overall each bite was a great compliment to the curry! Definitely a great stop for a good deal and a great lunch!“

“Friday 4th of July Lunch at Chao Nieu 35 with my sister. Ordered 2 dozen oysters Vietnamese style sauces and escargot butter garlic sauce and filet mignon with glass noodles. Delicious and great price for $1 oyster.

Service staffs were nice and friendly however very limited in English. Be sure to bring your own translator.

“The bill was $168 for 4 dishes+2 beers+ 1 hot tea pot + 1 hot water pot. We had 4 people for dinner. The ripped off is $20 for the 1 hot tea + 1 water pot(charge $5 per person). The manager credited back only 1 time favor(not second time in the future) of $10 for hot water pot after i complained that we ordered 2 beers for drink. It was ridiculous since a bottle of beer only $3. We will not go back to this place again. New customers please stay away from this restaurant. This restaurant's food is not that good and ripped off.“

“I've been to the Katsu Bar in Irvine, and I enjoyed the food so much that I had to come back.

Parking: Free parking lot. They're located in a high foot traffic plaza, so finding a spot can be a hit or miss.

Ambiance/Environment: They have a small indoor space with a decent amount of indoor seating. Very casual and chill. I visited on a weekday, so it wasn't too busy.

Service: I was greeted right when I entered. She asked if I had any questions and offered help. There's two self ordering kiosks. You can also order takeout. Throughput took a little over 10 minutes.

Food: I ordered the Rosemary Chicken Katsu Sando with baja chipotle sauce and waffle fries. Their sandos are my favorite menu items. Perfect for lunch. The chicken katsu was fried and seasoned deliciously. The bread was milky and light. The waffle fries tasted as expected. My only tip is try to eat the sandos asap. Otherwise the bread might get too soft. I really wanted the strawberry sandos for dessert, but they were out of stock that day. Highly recommend trying the sandos!

Pricing: They have daily deals at an extremely affordable price. Honestly everything on their menu is worth its price. Will definitely be visiting this small chain again!“

We started off with s strawberry matcha and a mango slushy boba. Both were cool and refreshing.

We got a crunch roll and it was massive. This easily could have been a meal. It was so good and delicious.

Next up was the stir fry noodles with chicken and beef teriyaki. This was a heavy portion of food. I mixed it all up and it was so tasty and satisfying. A very filling meal just by itself.

Last, but not least, was the bento box. Another large portion of food. You get rice, chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, shrimp, salad, gyoza, shrimp tempura and a four piece California roll. So good and very filling.
