“Had a great experience at MIAN and am already thinking about coming back and eating here again. The Szechuan style of food they sell here is what makes it stand out as it is not very common in other Chinese food places in the area.

I had the Chengdu noodles that come with ground pork and bok choy and a side of popcorn chicken. The noodles were great. I have no complaints. When mixed in with the sauce, they can get quite spicy, and this is coming from someone who ordered the medium level (there are three spice levels in total), but it is still an enjoyable spice that mixes well with the food. Additionally, the popcorn chicken was also really good, the pieces were nice and big and the chicken was crispy.

I had ordered some mustard sauce on the side with my chicken. When the waiter brought the chicken over, he did not bring the sauce. So I flagged him down and asked him to bring it over, but he did not understand what I was asking for. It seemed like English was not really his first language. He ended up calling his coworker on the phone and had me explain to her what it is I wanted which she then was able to translate to him. After this, he brought over the sauce lol. I just wanted to say that I thought it was funny the way he was so determined to figure out what it is I wanted but I also really appreciate his dedication. I didn’t get his name but I send him my thanks.

What I liked about the ordering process here is that you just sit down and scan a QR code. You can order pretty much immediately and the food didn’t take long to come out. It was a Wednesday afternoon though so that might be why; the restaurant was not very full.“

I'm sure there's no such delicious malatang anywhere in the world, not even in mainland China. “I ordered crispy pata the other day and when I got home the crispy pata was over fried that even the bone is burned. Very overcooked so it is very disappointing!“

“The Tofu Spring Rolls are good, but lacking flavor. Me personally, I like peanut butter, but the Hoisin Sauce with Peanut Butter had a weird aftertaste. The pork chop was nice and charred, but also lacked some flavor. The vermicelli (noodles) is a nice filler. Great service, and overall nice interior, the only real problem is being crammed with space.“

“Not to be mistaken for Original Thai BBQ, this is Original Thai on Artesia Blvd. This is one of the Thai restaurants that serve Thai Boat Noodle Soup. My party arrived, we're promptly seated and had ordered. Within 10 minutes, all of our food arrived freshly made to order and made delicious. Try the Crab Noodle and the Spicy Crispy Pork, you won't be disappointed. They use real crab in their crab dishes. Also, be weary of the spice levels.“

“Honestly I don't understand the bad reviews. My husband and I absolutely love their food and love supporting them. My favorite thing about this restaurant are the cold dishes. You seldom see restaurants with a cold dish bar like this these days. The restaurant is clean, it's clearly a small family owned business that's trying to keep it traditional, price is extremely reasonable and portions are GENEROUS. Not to mention the food is very very authentic and delicious. We don't live nearby but a lot of family does, and when we're around we only come here. This place is great for take out and dine in is always nice too, never a wait. We just love supporting them.“

“I’ve heard about Pho 79 being one of the best pho in OC. After finding Phoholic broth too sweet, I decided to try Pho 79, and it did not disappoint!
We arrived around 10:30 on a Saturday and waited around 20mins for our table.
We ordered a large pho, grilled pork with broken rice, and fried spring rolls.
I found the pho broth to be well balance just slightly too greasy for me but not a big issue at all! We weren’t offered noodle option so I’m assuming there is only one noodle option?
The fried spring rolls were decent but I think I’ve had better? This dish didn’t really stand out too much, and I will not order again next time I visit.
The grill pork with broken rice was pretty standard, tasted good but I think I’ll try something else or stick with pho for my next visit.
Paying for our meal was a bit confusing? I wasn’t sure if they would bring check over to table, but seems like others would go up to counter and pay so I just did that. It is cash only which is a bit inconvenience but I came prepared!
Will definitely come back for more pho if I’m in the area!“

“Tried this place a few days ago, ended up going there 2 days in a row! First visit I tried their Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Extra Hot sauce and fries, and it was a hooting delightful! “A random tiktok video brought me to this place, and boy, am I glad it did! I had the Rare Steak and Crunch Brisket Pho, and it was the best I've ever had. The size of the bowl is absolutely perfect. “Nice little place. I was looking for something different from the normal ramen or pho for dinner. I have had jjambbong at a couple of other places and they were good. This place was also good. I ordered the seafood with a rib soup dish and some dumplings. They did not disappoint. The dumplings were chicken with veggies. I put a couple in my soup and that really upped the flavor. The soup can be spicy to many and being an Asian dish it could start you on fire if not careful. I opted to try it mild and it still had some spice. It was a perfect for a cold night. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.“

I went there for lunch recently for the first time in years, and the prices were the same as 7–8 years ago. The free side dishes were also delicious.

These days, dining out is so expensive that it's hard to choose a restaurant, but I think the owner made a very wise decision. When you live generously and share with others, you'll be blessed and make plenty of money.

They’ve brought back the original flavors, and the service was great too. I’ll always be happy to open my wallet for food like this. Try having a bowl of soondae soup with a shot of soju, like you see on Korean TV — it’s the true taste of Korea.

“Tried this place for the 1st time. At the door, you notice the sign that says Military Discount. Thank you for that. Started with Egg Rolls and Spicy Edamame. Great portions, amazing flavors. Sushi had Salmon and it was very good. The ramen was Pork based ans it had a good kick. Good spicy with so much flavor. I gave the 4 stars because they have TV's and I wanted a basketball game. They couldn't change the channels for whatever reason. Asked for the bill and apply the Military Discount on the bill. The discount only applies to the Things I ate/ordered. I was there with my wife so they gave us 2 checks. It was pretty weird but oh well. But that doesn't change the fact that food was great and I want to try more items on the Menu. “I live in the area and love going to HanaMaru sushi with my partner. We enjoy the food and the pleasant staff who always kindly greet us when we enter and leave!

They have a wide variety of rolls so there should be something for everyone. I've enjoyed all the different ones I've tried so far. For appetizers, chicken karaage and edamame are my go-to's. They do have other items on the menu that aren't sushi so if you do come with non-sushi lovers, there will still be something for them.

For parking, just be warned it might be a little difficult depending on the time of day you go as it's in a small lot that multiple businesses share. However, we've been lucky so far in usually finding a spot either at the right time or not having to wait too long before someone else leaves.“

“I had the chicken pho with beef broth. The soup itself had good flavor, but the chicken was very tough—it had been cut with the grain instead of against it. It was so difficult to chew that I only managed to eat about 20% of it. Isn't slicing against the grain basic cooking technique for chicken?

“My teenagers and I had the Motto Black, the Motto Red, and the Motto Special. All bowls were tasty and delicious. Noodles were fresh and the chaschu melted in your mouth. “My 2nd visit here so far. Fell in love with the Pad Thai. 1st visit had the Pad Thai & Japanese Pan Noodles. Today ordered 2 Pad Thai & Spicy Korean Beef Noodle. I got the spicy ramen (I don't remember the name.)with pork belly and it was a level 3 spice. I love spicy food but it was almost too much to enjoy the flavor of the soup. I'll get it again but we all tried it and we felt a 2 would be perfect.
Hubby got the Gyu something. It was steak, rice and curry. I'm not a fan of curry but it was pretty good. Meat was super tender.
Son got the same dish I got but not spicy. His was really good. This why we think a spicy level 2 would be good. His could use more spice and my could use less.
Daughter in law got a poke bowl, I think salmon. Great size. Very good portions for each ingredient.
We would order all the same things but make a few alterations but worth hunting for parking and small space for eating.“
