“The best taste ever. Real Koreans, go here.
It's so, so, so delicious, and I haven't been able to get my mouth full since I ate this place from Korea. I'm sure there's no such delicious malatang anywhere in the world, not even in mainland China. It's so delicious that I wonder if something was really done to the soup, and it's so addictive that I'll be eating it for a week. I think about it three times. Please, please drink it. Please.“

“Just absolutely the best pho in the area. Worth the drive. Overall 8.9/10. I order the large bowl with charbroiled meat. The condiments are always fresh. Today was a clean 9.2/10. Taste was fantastic. The broth was full of flavor. Just enough noodles and onions. Service is fast, location is mostly clean 8.9/10. Staff is friendly enough lol. Been going for 10 years.“

“Speaking as a Thai native, I can attest that the food here is remarkably authentic, and my top picks, Boat noodles soup and Crab fried rice, are absolutely mouthwatering. I mean every dish we ordered was consistently delicious, with perfectly sized portions, and the service was exceptional, making this restaurant highly recommendable.“

“Not the best spot for chicken eaters. If you like beef, then this is the place for you. The texture of their Thicker noodles is perfection. Very affordable
Kid-friendliness: Did not have booster seats and all their plates are ceramic so it will break easily.“

“I haven’t tried their main dishes but their appetizers are so good! My fav is the pork ears, they’re truly the best in town. They cut their pork ears into super thin strips which made every bite covered in chili oil and easy to chew. This remains my top 1 pork ears in California even after I moved out of Cerritos. Soooo good!“

“Thursday morning
I explored a Hong Kong-style restaurant hidden in a corner. The simple and straightforward decoration was my first impression when I first saw it. Scan QRcode to order food also has some modern highlights.
Four dishes to try under the knife
The first course: hometown wontons
The light and delicious taste can be said to be full of surprises on the taste buds and make you salivate with endless aftertaste.
And the second dish: Hong Kong-style radish and beef offal
the moment of chewing
There is a delicious taste on the tip of the tongue, it is really a delicacy that is full of praise and vitality.
The third dish is freshly made beef rice rolls
The smooth and tender rice rolls, paired with the freshness and sweetness of the beef, are simply a delicious treat that "dissolves only in the mouth but not in the hands"
The last classic dish: Pan-fried rice noodles with smooth egg, beef and pineapple
The refreshing pan-fried crispy rice noodles are a creative Chinese pizza crust, combined with a combination of filling elements, creating a "Happy Morning" brunch.“

“Great food, helpful staff, and a pleasant interior make this one of my favorite places in the city. I came here to celebrate my birthday today, brought friends from Garden Grove who were visiting, and went on a date that ended up being the last one. I was highly suggested it, and now I am telling people about it!“

“Cash only, light lines during dinner rush moves but moves very fast for groups of four and less anything more and it takes a little bit longer. All of this doesn't seem all that appealing but this place is MICHELIN RATED it's had Zagat awards almost every year since 1995, their broth is amazing everyone I've introduced this place to keeps coming back.
Parking: Strip mall adjacent, the liquor store will tow so talk to them first.“

“I ordered the Cajun Tuna Roll just to keep it simple. It's great for the price, you get what you pay for. I got curious about the Spicy chicken sandwich and decided to try it out.I have a high spice tolerance and never was really "spiced"out by ANY Spicy Sandwich. Until today. By far, the best spicy chicken sandwich I've had so far. Very crispy and juicy.. Well done! I'll be regularly coming back :)“

“This is my new favorite spot for chicken katsu - it's so juicy and flavorful, and the bento box is so well put-together. While the main highlight is the katsu, every other part of the bento box is great, from the takoyaki to the gyoza, and those little animal waffles, so cute and so tasty! The owners are very friendly as well. Eating here always brings a smile to my face, I've only been twice so far, but I will absolutely be coming back again soon!“

“This is an underrated gem near the Rose Park neighborhood on 7th Street. The young lady and man working the counter are friendly and seem genuinely interested in serving customers. There's a cozy ambience to the place that is so inviting, and the food is great quality for the reasonable prices. Coming back all the time!!“

“Went for an early dinner on Tuesday. I was surprised to find a brand new AYCE menu option at the Garden Grove location. It is $24 and available all day. There is a lot of ramen, appetizers and sushi rolls to choose from.
I had the tonkatsu black ramen which had a lot of toppings. The noodles were chewy and bouncy. The broth was fantastic. I also had the tonkatsu miso ramen. Just as delicious and recommend both.
For appetizers I recommend the grilled gyoza, the shrimp tempura and the egg rolls. The char is the grilled gyoza took it to another level for me. The tempura is crispy and not oily at all. The egg rolls were crispy and filled with flavorful vegetables.
For sushi rolls I got a California roll, a Dragon roll, an OMG roll and spam musubi. The rolls are all really packed with ingredients and all fresh and delicious. The spam musubi is really thick cut. I recommend all of them.
The AYCE MENU is only available at the Garden Grove location and I cannot wait to go back and try more options.“

“"Thai District is a culinary gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The food was absolutely amazing, bursting with authentic Thai flavors that transported us to Thailand. Scott, our server, went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. Not only did he provide impeccable service, but he also shared interesting tidbits about the area, like the length of the actual “Long Beach” in Long Beach, adding a delightful personal touch to our evening. We left feeling completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. Five stars all around for Thai District!"“

“What can you ask for more than a legit Pho with very amazing spicy paste? This place probably is the best Pho around town. Their Shaken Beef with fried rice paper is amazing. Would love to see them brining back the Pan Fried Egg noodles with seafood. Please keep up the good work.“

“Nice little place. I was looking for something different from the normal ramen or pho for dinner. I have had jjambbong at a couple of other places and they were good. This place was also good. I ordered the seafood with a rib soup dish and some dumplings. They did not disappoint. The dumplings were chicken with veggies. I put a couple in my soup and that really upped the flavor. The soup can be spicy to many and being an Asian dish it could start you on fire if not careful. I opted to try it mild and it still had some spice. It was a perfect for a cold night. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.“

“Genuine Japanese Ramen with rich Miso taste. No other ramen shops serve this taste and only one in SoCal. It’s worth to spend your time to go to this place if you are Ramen Lover! Now they start serving Shio-Ramen (Clear Salt base soup) with Truffle oil flavor. This one is very good, too!“

“Fish was relatively fresh and big portions, of good quality. Some of the pieces were blowtorched, which is a nice touch. The quality of the rice in the sushi is also good (and very important but no one ever talks about it). Friendly service and spacious venue. I was gonna say it was a bit pricey, but to be fair everything is pricey nowadays so it's probably avg priced. Just budget accordingly.“

“Our new go to place. You walk in and immediately know this place is authentic. A little slice of Vietnam. Family-owned, grandpa was the one who served us our soups with a smile and also gave us some great tips on the best way to eat the Pho (black and red sauce on the side for dipping). Everyone who walked in seemed like family to the owners. Very good atmosphere.“

“For the main course, I went with the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, and it did not disappoint. The broth was rich, creamy, and packed with umami, while the spice level gave it a nice kick without overpowering the deep pork flavor. The noodles were perfectly chewy, and the chashu was tender and flavorful.
I also tried the pork bowl and salmon bowl, and both were solid choices. The pork bowl had juicy, well-seasoned pork over fluffy rice, making for a comforting bite every time. The salmon bowl stood out with its fresh, high-quality salmon that melted in my mouth.
The service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was welcoming. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for ramen lovers and anyone craving a great Japanese meal!“

“This ramen chain maintains its quality standards throughout their various branches. I’ve been to some of their other locations and haven’t ever been disappointed. They have 3 vegan ramen options along with some vegan appetizers. I did the Impossible Rice Bowl and the Impossible Gyoza. Both were very delicious. The restaurant is situated in a nice outdoor shopping mall with adequate indoor and outdoor seating. Can’t say there’s anything wrong with this restaurant.“

“Lady that took my order over the phone made sure to explain the menu items I wanted to order before finalizing my pickup order. Upon picking up my order she made sure to go over my entire order and had it packed perfectly. When I got home and unpacked my order, all items were labeled and even included a note letting me know one of the items was extra hot. Little details like this is what keeps my family and I coming back to Ho Ho China. Thank you to the staff and cooks, keep up the great work!“

“Great place! Unfortunate there are so few locations in the west coast, but all the dishes here are great! Many different varieties of dishes, taking inspiration from so many cultures gives an establishment with a narrow theme a lot of variety! Workers here were amazing, although I wish the drink machine was a bit better maintained, it still got the job done! Will be returning often whenever I’m nearby.“

“Food was good. It is the usual traditional broths and dishes (beef or pork). Pairs well with soju. Felt like a Korean restaurant with a 2k-ish vibe. I would prefer this over a combo anything at fast food places. By the way, if you are not familiar with Korean restaurants, check the side of the table for a drawer. Utensils are inside. If utensils are not brought to you, it is normally at the table.“

“I will say.... for simple, straight to the point banh khot.... this place was good. The batter was good, and I liked the ratio of batter to topping. It was not too thick of a banh part. BUT - I will say I've had better banh khots that are a bit heartier and Maybe made with more attention, meaning ones that have the other Toppings on it. I was so surprised when the Shrimp one came out and it was basically just batter and shrimp. So basic. It was good!!! But basic is all. And it matched what we paid for it. So I'm not complaining. I'm just saying that be aware that it's that type of banh khot and not like others in more upscale restaurants. It's 5 stars based on the style of banh khot this place is known for. Service was ok. They were busy. There was a wait. I'd say it matched the ambiance and price point.“

“We had to evacuate from Hollywood due to the wildfires and came here for dinner near our hotel and it absolutely delivered and put a smile on our faces. The Dan Dan Noodles were the BEST I’ve ever had, the spicy beef soup, the pork dumplings — everything is delicious! And CeCe, the beautiful owner, was so generous and boxed up some to go food “on the house”. Will definitely try the other Mians!“
