“Amazing service, incredible food, Jimmy was outstanding!“

“We bought the cookies. We had the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie and oatmeal raisin cookie. They were definitely worth the $4 each. They were large, soft, and delicious. Our tour did not allow us time to get something hot, but the hot food smelled yummy.

The gift shop was a large part of the airport. It had a lot of soft stuffies, hand made jewelry, cards, shirts, and locally made items. We did not purchase anything there.
We were told there is a resident cat, but she was hiding when we got there. The view is wonderful. The girls working there were nice enough, but not very personable.

“Honestly, this place is so good that part of me is worried it might get too popular and I’ll have to wait in long lines in the future. But at the same time, I really hope it stays in business every time I visit Catalina—so more people definitely need to know how amazing the food is.

I ordered the pineapple double burger, and my boyfriend got a double cheeseburger with added pineapple. We also ordered fish and chips. If you like grilled pineapple, I highly recommend the pineapple burger—or at least adding pineapple. It was thick, juicy, and absolutely delicious.

And the fish and chips—also a must-try. The fried fish was great, the fries were amazing… seriously, you have to try this place.

Also, if you order a double, the burger is HUGE—almost too big to take a bite in one go. But don’t forget, the flavor is doubled too. Even the bun was delicious. Honestly, is there anything here that’s not good?

I actually feel bad for people who only go to the brunch spots near the entrance and miss out on this burger. It’s absolutely worth the money—if anything, it feels cheap for how good it is. Such a satisfying meal.

I love to grab breakfast here on the morning I plan to go back on the ferry.

This past trip I had chicken tenders when we came in as a day 0 type of thing and on our way out I had the e-bay (everything BEC bagel). I remember the service being really slow the last time we were on the island, with just 1 person working the register and 1 person in the kitchen, but this time they had at least double that and the service was quick, which was preferable.

“They have the best ahi nacho bowl I’ve ever had in my whole entire life! I usually don’t like tuna too but I would get it every time I come back (if I ever visit the Island again). Other than that, the service was a bit slow but the server’s attitude definitely made up for it. She was sweet and attentive! As for the atmosphere, I’m not a big fan of sitting outside to eat since I don’t like people walking by seeing me eat lol, so I do wish they have more indoor seating.“

“Anyone who comes to Avalon knows what luau Larry's is. You can feel it and you can hear it from far away. The music emanating from the bar, the club reveling partygoers and vacationers alike. All love this place and I learned that their food is awesome too! Both the swordfish burgers and lobster roll are both great. Specifically recommend the lobster roll
The drinks were good but more sweet than boozy if that's what you prefer.
