“Amazing service, incredible food, Jimmy was outstanding!“

“We bought the cookies. We had the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie and oatmeal raisin cookie. They were definitely worth the $4 each. They were large, soft, and delicious. Our tour did not allow us time to get something hot, but the hot food smelled yummy.

The gift shop was a large part of the airport. It had a lot of soft stuffies, hand made jewelry, cards, shirts, and locally made items. We did not purchase anything there.
We were told there is a resident cat, but she was hiding when we got there. The view is wonderful. The girls working there were nice enough, but not very personable.

“Loved this place! Top tier chili dogs. The staff was friendly and got us our food pretty quick. It’s a very casual spot and isn’t a sit down restaurant (you order at a window and there’s a small seating area), so is best for a quick lunch or you want a lowkey dinner. It’s an extremely affordable option too.“

“The food is delicious! I had the 1/2 rack of ribs that were fall off the bone delish and my husband had the Prime rib sandwich. Soooo good! (& sorry no time to take photos as we dug in and couldn’t stop! Besides my fingers were full of finger licking good sauce!)“

Met serene our hostess, awesome person!
We ordered and I complimented her on how nice she was, all day we have had really sour people both tourists n locals.
She was so nice she even brought my wife a ice cream n sprinkles w a candle. So nice ty serene.
She needs to be kept on, a plus for the company n customers.

“This place is great for someone wrapping up the TCT or even for someone just section hiking/camping for a few days.

I love to grab breakfast here on the morning I plan to go back on the ferry.

This past trip I had chicken tenders when we came in as a day 0 type of thing and on our way out I had the e-bay (everything BEC bagel). I remember the service being really slow the last time we were on the island, with just 1 person working the register and 1 person in the kitchen, but this time they had at least double that and the service was quick, which was preferable.

“My husband and I enjoyed excellent bison burgers on Tuesday during our second day on the Trans Catalina Trail. Definitely make a stop and let Mike and his crew take care of you in this beautiful setting.“

“Interesting food, French toast was very skinny and appeared to be slices from a loaf, avocado 🥑 toast had a light spread of avocado. If your anything like me, I want slices on my avocado toast. Otherwise the service was stellar and a very short wait“

“Nice little tiki bar right in the main drag in Avalon across from the harbor. As all good tiki bars should, the cocktails were very creative and really good!

Service was spot on, and the drinks came quick. Did not have any food while we were there.“
