“First time visiting the island and I read the Yelp reviews and decided this is where I wanted to go for a bite to eat before we rented a golf cart. My husband and I shared the ahi poke nachos since this is one of our favorites to order. The nachos were good. We only wish there was a bit more ahi and avocado to ensure each wonton chip had at least a piece of ahi and a piece of avocado on it. We would have also wanted a bit more heat like maybe a wasabi sauce or siracha. The restaurant is very small, mostly a small patio area seating with bar seating inside. Overall we really enjoyed our light lunch and the view and we will definitely return to try more eats on their menu.“
“Got the deviled eggs, the street corn dip, bison burger, buffalo milk with some friends, and we just chilled at the window seats, people watching. You know the food is good when normally talkative people go quiet so they can focus on the food. Our waiter was great, able to check things with the kitchen and make adjustments for a gluten allergy in our party (ie: lettuce instead of a bun). We all left incredibly satisfied.“
“I ONLY went for drinks and fries and the view, so I cannot speak on their entrees or service during a rush. Some of the reviews are negative and they sound just and Im not going to argue against them because they sound like legitimate issues. I went with 2 others on a Thursday in March 2024 so it was definitely slow and off-peak season. Omar was bartending and the place was pretty empty. Service was quick and pleasant, the view is great. There was also an adorable gull who stayed close and wasn’t aggressive, almost like a mascot. Im from the Great Lakes, I know what aggressive a-hole gulls are like and this bird was awesome and just like a quiet member of our group waiting for its time to talk. In conclusion, had a great time, met a cool local (not the bird, a cool human), service was good, great view. I can’t say anything about the food really besides decent fries and garlic bread. Great sunset view of Avalon.“
