“Fourth time trying this place, I do recommend it if craving for a tea, sweet milky boba, or slushy drinks with some hotdogs/meats or cheese snacks. They added waffles snack too. It was quite tasty, with friendly, helpful staff and cute small hidden location with free parking. The price is pretty good for buying one drink and getting 50% off next item. The passion fruit or lemon black tea are so far my favorite here. It was mixed well with great favors. The original hotdogs I tired had so many dipping sauces to select from that it was delicious. It is not a healthy snack, but it was a treat. Many other foods are near this plaza. I was pretty full after for under $10. They take both cash and credit card, have both a person to help order or those order yourself monitor, everything convenient plus a restroom for customers not like some other tea places.“

“New Boba spot and I love it. Their prices are very reasonable and I love that their boba is always fresh and soft. I always order off the swirl menu. Add creme brulee to your drink. They also have fries, onion rings, and cheese sticks. Love the plain cheese sticks, only thing missing is the marinara sauce. They give ranch but I don't like their ranch. It tastes weird. I tried the plain onion rings extra crispy. They are ok but leave a grainy after taste. I'll stick to the cheese sticks. But I love their boba. I go almost every day“

“One of my favorite places for a boba drink. The shop has special events for arts and crafts, kpop fans, and holidays. I go for the delicious drinks. My faves are the orange milky way, sweet pink, and strawberry mochi. The Alaska sunset, honey lemon mint tea, and fruit tea are also very good. The service has always been great. I only wish they were open later. Sometimes my boba craving hits at 830pm and it's too late 😭“

“We have been going to Boba Box since it was still doing the soft opening. We drive about 15-20 mins just to come here. My family found a new boba place that actually accommodate everybody drinking favorite. I don’t have to drive to Rowland Heights for Half And Half then go to West Covina for BYOB and OneZo. Then go to Dunkin Donuts for Matcha latte. Boba Box is amazing and drinks always comes out the same taste every time. Just the right coldness and amount of toppings. Keep it up the good work.“

“El Monte doesn’t have too many good boba spots, but Ono Tea House is a decent option. Prices here are a little lower than most places, which is nice.

The tea itself is just okay — not super strong — and the drinks can lean on the sweeter side. I usually order mine with 1/4 sugar since I don’t like them too sweet.

Overall, it’s not a spot I’d go out of my way for, but if you’re in El Monte and really craving boba, it does the job.“

They have giant games set up like Jenga, Connect Four, Cornhole, and more! Nice seating available too. Definitely worth checking out!“

South El Monte is also home to a lot of Taiwanese boba supplies companies and import so that makes people who start boba shop businesses in the South El Monte an easy access to the materials and that makes it all thrive. When I am not getting the 7Leaves down the street in South El Monte, I would come here to study Mandarin or work on software engineering projects remotely. I think South El Monte has a thriving community of Asian and boba drink lovers. Hello Boba adds another great addition to that one. Another great option is Boba Time which is also right down the same street. I love to get boba and then head to the King Taco place and drink boba with my taco.“

Critical feedback: I ordered a peach oolong milk tea with boba, 0 sugar. The drink was very watery and I requested more milk in it, but it still wasn't enough. Slightly disappointed with the drink.

Nice-to-have enhancement: have sugar packets outside so customers can adjust the sugar level themselves. Would be nice if the boba had a honey coating to it.

I Love the Rasberry ones so much! 🩷 If you like the taste of soap tho get the Rose flavored macaroon lol so pretty but idk what they put into this it reallt tastes like a bar of soap“

“Plenty of parking because one of the stores inside a strip mall. Right next to Code Ninja and across from usps store. Theres a sign on the wall outside but the boba shop is a little hard to find because its located inside Miko’s pet supplies. Once you walk into the storefront, you will see therea a glassdoor that leads you to a room and thats the boba shop.

The serve is good as the lady that works there greeted me with a friendly smile and answered my question as best as she can. I ordered the house milk tea with boba and boba came out hot and sweet. Tea isnt too sweet with the taste of tea.

My wife could not have the wedding without having milk tea served to the guests. My wife and I tried the champ milk tea here and decided that this place was the one. Their portions are much larger than other shops, and the tea flavor is pronounced and not covered by sugar/milk. The manager, Ryan, was super helpful in preparing our bulk order for the wedding, and it was a major hit during our wedding. My husband loves the coconut milk tea with boba and brown sugar drizzle. I always get the strawberry coconut with popping strawberry and coconut jelly. My son got the mango lemonade and loved it. He's also tried the peach lemonade and liked it alot too. We ordered 5 minutes before getting there and when we got there our order was ready. They are super fast with orders.“

I ordered #3 pho (steak and brisket I believe) and egg rolls. lots of meat and broth in the pho. my one gripe is that the pickled veg included with the egg rolls were cut very thick almost like matchsticks, not thin shreds like I typically find. it made the eating experience a little clumsy but good flavor and lots of filling inside.“

I tried the mint Serrano and If you are not a fan of mint don't try it if you are this is delicious and I wish I wouldn't back to get a second one after I was done. It was a perfect combo of sweet savory and foam. As variant plays later when it melted and I actually could have more. Love the freshness of the mint and as I opened it I saw the fresh mint! They offer a good mixture of smaller bites (popcorn chicken, fish balls, fried rice cakes...get these, they're so delicious), and bigger bites (rice bowls with your choice of meat, comes with tea egg, and pickled veggies). There's also a handful of boba tea type drinks, and shaved ice bowls.“
