“New Boba spot and I love it. Their prices are very reasonable and I love that their boba is always fresh and soft. I always order off the swirl menu. Add creme brulee to your drink. They also have fries, onion rings, and cheese sticks. Love the plain cheese sticks, only thing missing is the marinara sauce. They give ranch but I don't like their ranch. It tastes weird. I tried the plain onion rings extra crispy. They are ok but leave a grainy after taste. I'll stick to the cheese sticks. But I love their boba. I go almost every day“

“I have made boba stops every day this week while I’ve been in LA. I had the strawberry matcha drink. It was decent for what it is but the strawberry that is used seems to be a syrup base which wasn’t my personal preference. Reminded me of what gets used in a McDonalds strawberry sundae.

Critical feedback: I ordered a peach oolong milk tea with boba, 0 sugar. The drink was very watery and I requested more milk in it, but it still wasn't enough. Slightly disappointed with the drink.

Nice-to-have enhancement: have sugar packets outside so customers can adjust the sugar level themselves. Would be nice if the boba had a honey coating to it.

The Katsu arrived in this kind of fancy, big box with the meal in different sections - the Tonkatsu, rice, cabbage salad, Katsu sauce; then separately was the curry sauce (I ordered extra), pickled veggies, dressing. Theres a sign on the wall outside but the boba shop is a little hard to find because its located inside Miko’s pet supplies. Once you walk into the storefront, you will see therea a glassdoor that leads you to a room and thats the boba shop.

The serve is good as the lady that works there greeted me with a friendly smile and answered my question as best as she can. I ordered the house milk tea with boba and boba came out hot and sweet. Tea isnt too sweet with the taste of tea.

They are never really busy, at least when I come (around 12-3pm). I personally think they have the best thai tea that I have ever tried. My go to drink is the Thai Tea with Boba and I recently tried the Matcha Green Tea Latte with Boba and it was so good! Both drinks are on the sweeter side but definitely reccomend! “It’s honestly a trek when you have to drive almost two hours from one side of town in Pasadena…. to be on the other side of town to get boba at Half & Half Tea House, in Rowland Heights (technically City of Industry but oh well, it doesn’t matter at this point). I’ve heard many good things about this place, especially with the recommendations my friends gave me, so when I was in SoCal this time around, I KNEW I had to give this place a try for it’s buck.I was NOT disappointed at all. In fact, I was AMAZED at how they made their drinks. Not only were they cheap for their price, but everything came out to a decent price. Here’s my take:

Food/I got the fresh milk tea with honey, boba, and pudding. When I say this to you… the boba at Half & Half Tea House was absolutely delicious. The tapioca pearls were FRESHLY cooked, with just the right amount of chewiness. The fresh milk tself was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of sweetness as I requested to give them. I could tell that they used high-quality ingredients in their drinks, as the flavors were so fresh and vibrant. Each sip was like a little taste of heaven.Not only was the boba incredible, but the service at Half & Half Tea House was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to answer any questions or make recommendations. They made sure that my order was prepared exactly how I wanted it, and even offered to customize it further if needed. The atmosphere in the store was warm and inviting, despite the fact I went in 15 minutes before they closed LOL.will say that the atmosphere wasn’t always the best, but they did have a lot of leeway so you could take your pictures on top of the table and post it for your IG or TikTok.Overall, my experience at Half & Half Tea House was fantastic. The combination of amazing boba and exceptional service made for a truly memorable visit. The next time that I’m in SoCal, I will definitely be returning to try more of their delicious drinks in the future. If you're a fan of boba tea, this place is a must-visit!
