“Let me just start by saying I never leave reviews and pho is literally my favorite food. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and given amazing service and recommendations on their most popular dishes. The food is amazing the store is clean and the broth had an amazing flavor. The spring rolls were perfectly made and the peanut sauce was amazing as well. Definitely will be coming back here regularly .“

“I randomly discovered the place for Ban Xeo. Quite an interesting dish. It is very crispy. You wrap each bite with the lettuce.
I am new to it, so my table was a bit of a mess.
The owner, a guy, spoke english. That’s good.
There was a sign that says they’ll take credit card, but charge a $1 fee. I think that’s a bit steep.
There’s ample parking at the back.“

““The bomb.com” Pico Rivera has needed a good Pho restaurant for a long time now. I tried this place the other day for the first time and it was just right. Had a sore throat due to this shitty December weather and it was very delicious and soothing. Little pricey but the quality is worth the price.“

“Was craving something warm & cozy while on a road trip & saw this pho spot on Yelp. They have a bunch of vegetarian/ vegan options which drew my attention. The vegetarian pho was delicious! They come in huge bowls! I hadn’t had pho in years & this hit the spot. Customer service is great and the inside ambiance was cute & decorative.“

“They have really good vegetarian banh mi’s! It’s a bit far from where I live but I’m so glad to have tried it! Will be back again!
Also their Vietnamese iced coffee is really strong and good. My husband gave it the seal of approval. Thank goodness for this shop!“

“You really can't make a bad choice with any dish you select here. We tried the House Special, and the spring rolls are absolutely essential. My son is a big fan of the Ban Mi with grilled pork, and we also enjoyed the charbroiled pork vermicelli with egg rolls. Every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back for more. Plus, the best part is that they offer a discount when you pay in cash!“

“**A Hidden Gem of Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine**
We came on a Saturday to enjoy some of our favorite dishes at the original Summer Roll location in Rosemead. This place has been around forever, and it's like coming home for a meal with family. We know the family that owns the restaurant, and they are always so friendly and welcoming.
We had their *nam*, *bun bo hue* (pig foot noodle soup), *banh beo* (steamed rice cakes), and *banh xeo* (Vietnamese crepe with bean sprouts and seafood). The food is from the Hue region of Vietnam, and they do it so well—everything was flavorful, authentic, and delicious.
While the decor here may not be as modern as their newer location in Temple City, this spot has that charm and authenticity that reminds you of a true family-run restaurant. We've admittedly neglected this location, but after this visit, we plan to come back more often. The food is excellent, and the warm, homey atmosphere makes the experience even better. Highly recommend if you're looking for a taste of genuine Vietnamese.“

“Came on someone’s recommendation. My first impression was that they were understaffed and looked overwhelmed. There’s only a handful of full of tables in this modest restaurant. The wait was 30-45 minutes even though there weren’t that many customers. But we were invested after 15 minutes, so figured we’d rough it out. So glad we did because the food was sooooooo good. The portions are generous and everything tastes so fresh. The prices are also low compared to other places with less good food. They could easily raise their prices by $5 and I would still think it was worth it because it was so good. So come but be prepared to wait even when it’s not busy. Cash only. There’s street parking or if you can find the hidden side street that leads to their parking lot in the rear.“

“Amazing little spot that my wife and I visit consistently at least once a week. The pho is always on point & they never seem to have an off day. Ann is always extremely friendly and service oriented & always makes sure our experience is very pleasant. Like most have mentioned, the egg rolls are also on point. Go & support this hole in the wall spot!“

“This family-owned business usually never disappoints. We love the veggie pho because the broth is vegetable based, not chicken stock. The vegetables are always cooked to perfection and the portions are decent. On our last dining experience, we ordered the vegetable dumplings which came out very quickly. At first bite, I realized they were not vegetable but some kind of meat. While the place was busy, we couldn't find anyone to flag down fast enough before they delivered the correct order because the first one was chicken dumplings. Other than that, it's a good place for yummy food at good prices.“
“We enjoy hanging out. Yesterday we visited this excellent place which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a beautiful experience there with very good meal and a well-trained stuff and an impressive chief cook. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will certainly go again very soon. We deeply recommend.“

“This Vietnamese restaurant might not have the most modern interior or be in the trendiest plaza, but the food and service make up for it. The staff is always friendly, and the dishes are consistently good.
One thing I really appreciate is how vegan and vegetarian-friendly the menu is. There’s a great selection of options for different diets. I tried the bánh canh and bî cúôn and they were flavorful. Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or into traditional dishes, they’ve got you covered.
If you’re after solid, no-frills Vietnamese food, this place is worth checking out.“

“Ahhhhh ahhhh AHHHHH!
I've found my pho place finally in SGV!!! I frequent Vinh Ky in Garden Grove and I have been on the hunt for the same decadent bowl of pho rhat is closer to me in SGV. Holy Jeebus! I found it and I cant believe it has always been close tk me all along.
Great service & great food! Their chili oil is self serve and very good! Their Che desserts are not bad, too.
The only thing that was lacking is the amount of mint/basil that they serve with their bowls, but I understand since a lot of people dont use them but Im one of those people that wanr to see all green on my bowl. But no sweat, I just asked for more!!
Thanks Pho Hai, I will be back!“

“The outside of the restaurant looks kinda janky, but man, this restaurant is amazing. The food, in addition to being incredibly cheap, is also so so delicious and has very large portions to boot. From what I saw, the meals were only around $13 and the drinks $4.00. The people who work there are also very kind and welcoming.“

“Ordered number 30 and the meat was sweet and flavorful. Bean curd was pretty good. Egg with crab was actually very yummy but i didn't like the salted egg.
Pickled vegetables were DELISH in combo with everything else on the plate and it came with soup which was light and flavorful.
Also tried the passion fruit soda which was a unique kind of carbonation that was less bubble and more fizzy stingy? The passion fruit flavor was strong though which I enjoyed“

“Not your typical Vietnamese restaurant I usually order the vermicelli, grilled pork and royal rolls. They didn't offer this here. Instead they had stir-fried beef with onions on vermicelli and only 1 sole roll. The beef is delicious but in this combination, I am used to and prefer grilled pork.
Not an extensive menu In fact, the number of options is quite limited, so if you can't find what you're looking for.“

“Basic pho restaurant with the best pho broth in the San Gabriel Valley. We live down the street from Pho Fillet 2, and we drive past them to come here. The people who run this place are good wholesome families. Parking can be a bit tight, but the food makes up for any shortcomings. My wife is Vietnamese, so I let her take care of the ordering. They speak Vietnamese and English.“

“This summer, we visited LA and a friend brought us to Saigon Flavor for lunch to try Pho. We ordered ‘Well cooked beef rice noodle soup; Rare beef and tripe rice noodle soup and the Pork fried spring rolls‘. The Pho soup is flavourful (bit spicy&salty), the beef & tripe is tender. Pho comes in regular and large size. The pork spring rolls are yummy and crispy. The serving size is huge and good for sharing. Taste is reasonable for the price. Service is excellent. Dining place is clean and neat. Parking is spacious. Accepts credit card.“

“If this is not the best banh mi in all of Sgv and Oc, I don’t know of any place that can beat them. All cash by the way so come prepared. Their dac biet is the perfect sandwich and their daikon and carrots are light and bouncy with fresh jalapeno with the right amount of pate and butter. They have it down to perfection, nothing less. Had an open house and served it for homebuyers and they were blown away! Highly recommend! Cafe sua da is gold too, loved the shaved ice in the coffee and not too sweet. The ladies in the back are super sweet and you can buy the baguettes and freeze them, then 350 f for 6 mins in toaster or airfryer. Get the egg rolls, and pa te so is good too. My clients loved their vegetarian banh mi too!
Vegetarian options: Just get he vegetarian banh mi! Only vegetarian thing to get or just plain baguettes! It will be worth it!“

“The place is called Pho Thanh online, but when if you go to the restaurant it's called Pho Ha Long. The restaurant doesn't use a/c, only fans. My friends and I were sweating so much. We won't be coming back to sit in anymore when it's hot. We rather order online to have to it delivered since the prices are the same and prices are lower than most other restaurants. They do not skimp out on the meat when you upgrade from L to XL size. They give you a good amount of meat but also more noodles. It was so much food, we will not get the XL size next time.If you decide to eat at the restaurant, they have a program where if you order up to 10 meals, you get 1 free.Free parking. They don't have a huge lot though.“

“Recently opened its door in the Temple City, Kim Hoa Hue Restaurant is the new culinary destination for Vietnamese cuisine lovers. Having moved to Temple City, it stands proudly across from Summer Roll, inviting diners to embark on a gastronomic journey to Vietnam’s former imperial capital.
The restaurant’s specialty, Bun Bo Hue, is a testament to the authentic flavors of Huế. This Vietnamese beef noodle soup, known for its spicy and robust taste, is served in a generous portion brimming with succulent meat. The rich and aromatic broth leaves a lingering warmth that is both comforting and invigorating.
For those eager to explore the breadth of Huế’s culinary landscape, the Hue Combo is a must-try. This dish is a culinary mosaic, showcasing the region’s famous noodle-based delights. It’s an ideal choice for newcomers and connoisseurs alike, offering a sample platter of Huế’s pride.
While the Bun didn’t quite meet expectations, it holds promise. A tweak in noodle texture to achieve that coveted al dente bite, paired with a more traditional Vietnamese egg roll, could elevate this dish to new heights.
The Pho presents a soulful broth that sings with depth and clarity. However, the noodles yearn for a bit more finesse to match the soup’s excellence.
Service at Kim Hoa Hue is attentive and earnest, although a broader grasp of English would enhance the overall experience. For now, Google Translate bridges the communication gap, adding a touch of modernity to the dining experience.
The ambiance is as fresh as the flavors, with a bright and contemporary setting that promises growth and refinement. Kim Hoa Hue Restaurant is a welcome addition to the neighborhood, offering a slice of Huế’s regal cuisine with every dish. With a few culinary tweaks, this establishment is poised to become a cornerstone of the local food scene.“

“Friday 8/9/24 Dinner at Golden Noodle & Grill in Rowland Heights. I’ve ordered #38 Roasted chicken on tomato rice. It is so crispy outside flavorful and tender inside; so delicious. This restaurant is a hidden gem which makes delicious Vietnamese foods with reasonable prices.
Long, service staff, was friendly and attentive to customers.
Van Huynh, restaurant owner & chef, has a great personality and cooks delicious Vietnamese foods. Dishes includes pho, broken rice, vermicelli, Chinese noodle soup, chow fun & mein, congee, Banh mi, Vietnamese deserts, milk shakes, and smoothies; all at a reasonable price. She took her time to greet me and even strike a pose for a photo which is posted on her Google map restaurant. Thank you Van!
The restaurant has nice decorations, clean, well lit, and well air conditioned on this warm day.
