“A new hidden gem. Small and intimate bar seating only to watch the chefs cook and chat. They are clearly passionate! It's not the most intricate or methodical menu, but more creative, spontaneous, and fast changing (apparently every month!). Food is clearly at the center stage. Come here if you are curious about food.“

“We have been here a couple of times with and without our baby and each time it is amazing. The sushi is fresh and consistently taste good they also have other options that are not sushi. That is amazing like this sizzling beef. We’ve had great experience with their servers every time we’ve went, but they do get busy during prime time dinner time.“

“Eve provided excellent service. She was welcoming, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable even though the bar was quite busy. She took the time to answer our questions and made us feel well taken care of. We also enjoyed the charcuterie board and the Napa Sips wine flight. Overall, it was a great stop at SFO, and we’d definitely come back.“

“I have had at least a half dozen meals at the Sundeck in the last month. The location is very convenient to the 3000 Sand Hill Office complex, as well as the Sand Hill Circle Residential condos. You can sit indoors or outdoors and have a beautiful view of the Woodside Hills. For breakfast I particularly recommend the egg white omelette and their delicious scones. They also make an excellent latte. Their takeout counter is also excellent. Tables are set up for between two and eight persons, and there has always been plenty of room.“

“Great selection of food, the house special pork pan fried bao is delicious -- one of the best outside of China. Love its tapas style, you can get a lot of smaller dishes to share and try a lot of different items! Service is outstanding!! Every server is so hospitable and you can tell they care about their customers.
We tried a lot of their items, would totally recommend the dumplings, XLB, wonton in chili oil, pan fried bao, skewers such as the ox tongue, salmon and chicken. Kids loved the porridge and ramen too. We got a bottle of sake, it comes with the coolest chilling/dispensing device -- it's an experience!“

“Barebottle in Bernal Heights is top notch and has been since they opened. Although the beer in the Menlo Park location is still great, it's weird that it's in Menlo Park. The space seems like it's straight out of a catalog like most things in Menlo Park.“

“If you’re looking for the best smash burger in Burlingame, look no further than Lilikoi. The food is consistently great, and the service is some of the friendliest I’ve experienced. A huge bonus is their delivery service to nearby bars—it’s the perfect setup for a night out. Highly recommend!“
“I had one of the most unforgettable experiences at 840 Wine Bar & Cocktail Lounge! I met the owner, Gil, on a Monday before the Super Bowl, and we got to talking about life and dreams. I mentioned to Gil that my only wish in this world was to go to the Super Bowl and to my absolute surprise, he bought me a ticket! I was stunned and so deeply moved. His kindness and generosity are truly rare and something I’ll never forget. The atmosphere at 840 Wine is warm and welcoming, the drinks are fantastic, and Gil’s heart is even bigger than the great wine selection. “Tacos dorado and enchiladas with dry fried beef! Got chicken tacos. The tacos were so crispy and meat was very flavorful! The enchiladas with dry fried beef was interesting. The beef is like a crispy beef jerky texture. I had a language barrier when ordering so just point what you want on the menu.“

“I loved the food. The only thing I didn't like so much was that the tables were very close together with little room to move around. The waitress had to walk sideways, her entire backside brushing against the edge of the table. They should distribute the space better.“

“Stopped in twice now. Small restaurant/bar. Ordered tofu stew, bossam, and of course KFC. Overall food is excellent. I really like the bossam here and I've tried both the beef and pork, I think I prefer the pork. KFC is crispy and moist.. Mandu is crunchy. Portion is good. Price is average for Korean. Small menu but what they have is good. Staff is always friendly. It can get a bit loud though.“

“I’ve come here twice to enjoy and work from my laptop on the patio. The views are stunning and in the evening when it’s breezy they even offer blankets despite the rooftop being heated at night. The light bites are amazing— I LOVED the charcuterie board. There is a 90 min limit on the table which is fine so others can also enjoy the vibes. The service was great, Chef Tony came out and introduced himself and I sang his praises, the bartender and server was attentive and helpful and both even let me know on Fridays or the weekends in the summer they bring in a dj! Will definitely be checking that out!“

“Needed a break from the terminal chaos, so my travel companion and I sat down at Tapas and Taps for a quick bite. We decided to share a bottle of wine and an order of buffalo wings.
The food was great. The wings came out hot, fresh, and had a fantastic kick to them—definitely hit the spot. It was a nice, civilized way to spend an hour before boarding.
The only reason I’m not giving a perfect score is the service. Our server was incredibly nice, but she seemed to have about ten things on her mind at once. She kept coming back to our table before we were ready, practically hovering while we tried to decide on the wine, and seemed eager to rush us through the process. It wasn't rude, just very distracted. A little patience goes a long way, and I wish we hadn't felt so hurried. Great food, just hope the service is a bit more relaxed next time.“
