“Very cute cafe with pastries and a hot/cold drink menu. I really enjoyed the genoise and London fog, great on a cold rainy day. The Christmas tree was up and twinkly lights about really made it a perfect cozy cafe to hide in.
Wheelchair accessibility: On the first level, very accessible with wide berth around the counter.“

“Food is great ! Service is so so . They did forget a dish and were a bit slow even after the happy hour rush ended . They brought the bill before asking whether we wanted dessert ( we did ) this time and the last time we came . Still I’d go back as the food is too good!“

“Wow. Wow. Wow. Incredible. Have been a devoted fan for many years, but whoever the 'new' chef is (as of a year or 2 ago?) has hit their stride BIGTIME. I felt like we were at Daniel Boulud's in NYC! I say this because the presentation is phenomenal and the composition of ingredients are stellar. Just a superb dinner with awesome service and the gorgeous ambiance of Julia Morgan's 'Little Castle"s decor. Such a completely unique and special place. We are so spoiled to have this right in our town of Berkeley!“

“My party ordered three distinctly different dishes and they were all great! My chicken croffle was decadent. The bulgogi sandwich and the salmon avocado toast were both healthier choice but delicious nonetheless. It’s a self service place but the ambience is great!“

“Absolutely loved the 3 course menu and the quality. Daily changing menus - local. Great tasting food. I had the wine pairing which was also very reasonable. Chef was also very accommodating to change the mains (steak to duck confit for my pregnant daughter) which speaks volumes for the service and passion level for customer experience.“

“One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“Delicious soufflés. We tried the shiitake garlic basil for the entree and the chocolate one for dessert. Didn’t order any appetizers which worked out since we could barely finish the meal, though we did have some of the baguette they brought out before the meal.
It’s a joy to watch the chef work in the kitchen! This cafe is a San Francisco landmark so make a reservation and go there to enjoy a 3-hr long relaxed meal.“

“A must-visit bakery in San Francisco! The croissants are perfectly crispy on the outside with a soft, elastic crumb inside. The cream puffs and canelés are definite must-adds to your shopping list.
The only downside? The coffee beans lack a bit of that rich aroma—otherwise, it would be a match made in heaven!“
“Best crepes in SF! They do catering too:)“

“The service, neighborhood, community integration with current events reflected in their menu. Today I experienced a fusion of Italian Heritage Culture thru food in their special event menu as we watched the parade at a curbside table.“

“Great little spot for a light meal. Several visits now, the coffee is excellent, Eggs Benedict very tasty (not a classic recipe--on a bun, a little chopped bacon garnish), and croissants sandwiches super yummy. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended“

“We had a great meal at Left Bank. Outstanding wine selection, the appetizers were delicious, and our mains were worth savoring. We took our time, they let us take our time, and everyone was happy.
I recommend you stop by for a bite whenever your find yourself in the Square.“

“The cocktail was excellent at Quince! They have a collaboration going on with Bar Agricole currently and the cocktails are really well thought out. Craig is very hospitable!
The service was excellent and all the staff is very friendly and professional. I really enjoyed meeting Neev, the service manager.
The food was very tasty - especially the John Dory. You get great canapés and some sweets in the end as well.
It's a great deal for a 3 Michelin Star restaurant to be able to experience some of the dishes a la carte in the beautiful Salon room.
The interior is beautifully done!“

“The buckwheat pancake was truly a present surprise. It looks like a casual joint, and I did not expect much, but I was amazed with the flavours, it really was quite decently authentic compared to a lot of crepes in San Francisco and was quite healthy too!!“

“We visited Alameda in April to attend a celebration of life for a family member that we lost suddenly. Our family was in town from all over the country, and we found Cafe Jolie Petit near our hotel. They took such great care of us, fed us meals on three or four consecutive days, and we could not have asked for better service or food during an emotional time. Pastries (Koiugn Amann!), Monte Cristo, and the coffee bar were our favorites, but everything we had was delicious. We hope to be back for happier circumstances at some point, and definitely will return!“

“This is the perfect neighborhood restaurant, but also so much more than a neighborhood restaurant. The vibe is incredible - perfectly lit for a cozy, romantic evening. The food is incredible and the wine list is unmatched in SF. Not to be missed!“

“This little “hole-in-the-wall” has potential to be a truly fantastic restaurant.
First off, the restaurant is a cool, funky space that definitely has “Parisian” vibes, but not in a traditional sense. The bar is beautifully back lit with green lights and has cool Polynesian themed frescos.
The service was good and attentive. We sat at the bar and had great conversations with the bartender. She was a great conversationalist!
The food was great.. we started with half a dozen Beau Soliel Oysters which came with a horseradish mignonette. We followed that with the smoked trout pate which was probably my favorite dish. My wife and I both ordered the Crab Salad for our mains as they ran out of the Smoked Petrale Sole. It was good but the portion was tiny and at $39 I was hoping for more… it was more portioned like an appetizer. We finished off with the chocolate tart which was also delicious.
This place is close to receiving 5 Stars, but portion size needs to be addressed. Plus, having only three entrees and running out of one limits what can be ordered.“

“What a cute hidden gem here in SF! My boyfriend and I happened to stumble across this adorable Café as soon as we got off our flight to visit here. I would absolutely recommend and come back here! Super unfortunate that there’s nothing like this on the east coast!“

“Beautiful food, beautiful service, beautiful atmosphere! 1st time here and loved it, had the prawn tandoori appetizer and mango prawn as my main, and husband had the bhatti ka chicken as appetizer with beef pepper fry with Malabar paratha as the main. Food was melt in the mouth, I had the Bombay spritz a play on the
Aperol spritz with an Indian rose twist and a glass of champagne ,and the kulfi to finish off. Will be back.“

“There is a reason they sell out early everyday! Really delicious grilled pork, chicken or combo bahn mi. The fresh baguette is my favorite part. There is something about it that makes the sandwich taste even better than other places.
Great value. $6 per bahn mi. If you buy 4 sandwiches, you get a $2 discount. My favorite bahn mis!“
