I was immediately won over when we were offered two different bubbles to start and our crew really appreciated how informative yet informal the experience was. “We happened upon this family-owned, small tasting room on our way back from Bodega Bay. I am so grateful we found this place. Lynn was absolutely amazing! She was welcoming and knowledgeable, an absolute GEM! The placed was packed and she still managed to make us feel special. We enjoyed EVERY wine we tasted & took a bunch home. “Lovely experience. This reminded me of the small family run tasting rooms in Virginia where people come sit outside and lounge all day. We did flights of the wine and cider and both were great. The two servers working were both personable welcoming and knowledgeable. We did the cheese tray and it was fabulous too. The only thing I would have done differently is to allow for more time here.“

“This rarely known winery provides tours to their vineyard and their generated farm that grows the grapes! They even let me eat the grapes that will make the same bottle of wine but 2024 vintage! A never had tasting experience. Highly recommended.“

“We have been members at Ektimo for a number of years. We discovered this gem in Sebastopol on a wine trip with some friends.

When I say this, it is 100% the truth... even though we may like some wines more than others, there has NEVER been a wine we just didn't like! I am a customer, and in no other way affiliated with Ektimo.

Julius is always an amazing host and has always been as accommodating as possible when we have special requests, as we live out of the state.

Anyone who belongs to wine clubs knows that after awhile, some clubs go out of favor. This is one that we really can't ever imagine leaving.

All aspects are family run, from growing many of the grapes used in the wines, to the wine making, through to bottling and distribution. In non-covid times, they host tastings of their wines - both in bottle and some still in the barrel - paired with delicious food nibbles. I highly recommend their wines. Among my favorites are the old and mature vine zinfandel and the Platt vineyard Pinot.“
