“Wonderful experience at the winery! Great selection and explanations of the wines by Max. Hidden gem of a winery! Beautiful and private setting. Highly recommend.“
“What a gem of a wine stop in a beautiful spot! Super unique wine cave with excellent varietals. We got a tour with the owner himself! Really amazing history of Sonoma county wines. All the way to the beginning! If you're looking for something unique and memorable, take advantage of this experience. You can just stop by and enjoy a bottle with friends in the beautiful Sebastopol outdoors next to the 9 hole golf course. Another affordable gem of West county!“
“We had such a lovely experience day tasting wine with the special food pairings. We will be adding this as necessary stop for our yearly gals vacation.“
“Beautiful winery. Very friendly staff. Great selection of Pinot Noir wines. Gorgeous outside sitting area for tasting. Our first time here and we joined the winery. Thank you to Gigi, Mari (sp?) and Lesley for your amazing hospitality. We felt so welcome and so did our pups“
“Awesome people and awesome wines.“
“As always great seeing our friends at Dutton. Lynn was there who got us started over 2 years ago. We took a friend to pick up some wine and we were treated to the best Pinots from the Russian River and beyond. McDougal was our high note for the afternoon.“
“Paul Hobbs was a PHENOMENAL visit during our April 2026 trip to wine country. Although we were primarily in Napa Valley, Paul Hobbs was 100% worth the drive-- be sure to schedule a driver! ;)
Drew M. was our host for the afternoon and he gave a glorious tour of the property. He is wildly knowledgeable, polished and professional, and we enjoyed every minute with him.
The tasting room is intimate and cozy-- we felt right at home! The vineyard is easily accessible and practically right outside the back door. Drew was wonderfully accommodating and allowed us to walk the grounds after providing a diverse selection of wines to try. He curated the most perfect tasting menu for our anniversary. What a treat!
Thank you, Paul Hobbs for being an unexpected favorite from our trip! We look forward to returning as soon as we can.“
“An unforgettable winery experience! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing their passion and expertise with every pour. The wines were outstanding, each showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and quality. To top it off, the property was absolutely stunning—beautiful vineyard views and a charming atmosphere made the visit even more special. A must-visit for any Chardonnay and Pinot Noir lover!“
“So excited to be able to visit these wineries when we come to Sebastopol! Perception and Melissa Kelly Wines have long been my favorites. Mark and Missy are the ultimate hosts, and know how to make everyone feel connected to the story of the wine, making me love it even more!“
“Just returned from California and a highlight of our trip was Koblers vineyard. Mike Jr was so passionate & informative when educating us on Koblers wine. His warm & welcoming demeanour really made our visit fun. We enjoyed the cheese & wine pairing. Such a wonderful host and the homely setting is lovely.
P.s. our wine survived the return journey to Scotland!“
“Amazing wine tasting in a natural beautiful environment“
“One of my favorite wineries. Such a hidden gem. The owner was super nice and very fun to chat with. The experience was very relaxing and intimate. Went here with my brother a few years ago and looking to go back next time I'm in the area. I thought I was only a white wine girly but was blown away by the cab!“
“My husband and I have been going to this winery for many years. It is a delightful, family owned and run business. All aspects are family run, from growing many of the grapes used in the wines, to the wine making, through to bottling and distribution. In non-covid times, they host tastings of their wines - both in bottle and some still in the barrel - paired with delicious food nibbles. I highly recommend their wines. Among my favorites are the old and mature vine zinfandel and the Platt vineyard Pinot.“
“Amazing visit with Andy, comprehensive about the biodynamic and all the thoughts put into the farming and reaching the regenerating threshold as close as possible.
As far as the wines are concerned, I had 6 + 1 2019 from the Library. The differences in profile and taste were striking and with such a beautiful view and setting, it is impossible not to like the wines.
Personnally the Wendling Block E Pinot Noir pleased me the best but Charles Heitz vineyard was a damm fine wine as well !
Awesome experience !“
“Beautiful family run winery. I Highly recommend trying all their wines. Just grab a few bottles and enjoy, you won’t be disappointed.“
“We have been members at Ektimo for a number of years. We discovered this gem in Sebastopol on a wine trip with some friends.
When I say this, it is 100% the truth... even though we may like some wines more than others, there has NEVER been a wine we just didn't like! I am a customer, and in no other way affiliated with Ektimo.
Julius is always an amazing host and has always been as accommodating as possible when we have special requests, as we live out of the state.
Anyone who belongs to wine clubs knows that after awhile, some clubs go out of favor. This is one that we really can't ever imagine leaving.
I can't recommend Ektimo or Julius enough!
Tom and Tammra (Cheers)“
“Kosta Browne has been our favorite wine membership for years, but we only recently made our first visit. My husband and I have been to wineries all over the state and beyond and both agreed this was our best tasting experience yet. Joe was friendly, knowledgable, and generally enjoyable to spend time with. The tour was thoughtful and the tasting room atmosphere was relaxed and intimate. There were several delicious places to grab lunch nearby as well. We look forward to our next visit.“
“Beautiful location. Easy to get to. Comfortable private seating. We celebrated a birthday with live music @jeremylipsinmusic under the trees. Perfect sound quality. Apple cider flight was great. It is not sweet, doesn’t taste applely and has lower alcohol (8%). Heirloom cider would match great with chicken, salad and sushi. Their Pinot Gris is great…best I have ever had in Sonoma County so far.“
“Brady was amazing and SO SO knowledgeable…my new addiction 😊“
