“It was cold out, the wind was coming off the bay and it was a damp wind, the kind that goes all the way down to your bones and make you think of having pot roast or a hearty stew for lunch....But no....she wants a salad....a salad, I said! A damn salad! Take this exit, she pouts out...we'll go to MoBowl and get a salad, they're the best in the area! You'll like it she said.
So when it's cold out, and you have your heart set on pot roast, and she says...it's salad! It's gotta be MoBowl.

“Liholiho is a fantastic restaurant! The space is modern and beautifully designed, with an open kitchen where you can watch everything being prepared, which adds a lot of energy and transparency to the dining experience.

The service was very friendly, attentive, and quick. The cocktails were excellent, and even the non-alcoholic one I ordered was made with care and tasted great.

The food was outstanding. The bun with beef tongue was extraordinary, the tuna tartare and ceviche were perfectly balanced and fresh, and the shrimps with crispy rice were especially memorable. All dishes showed creativity, originality, and were prepared with high quality ingredients.

For three people, including first and main courses, drinks, and one dessert, the bill came to $260, which I found fair for this level of quality. The only minus point is that the restaurant does not offer coffee, which would have been a nice way to finish the meal.

Overall, I really enjoyed everything at Liholiho. Highly recommended, and I hope I will get to return again!“

“It is miles away from the hustle & bustle of the city, so when we reached, we almost turned around and drove away as we wanted a nice place for our anniversary. However, it looked a nice cute place, so decided to take a chance. They seated us in the back room which was cozier. The server was outstanding - he explained all the food items (we are Vegetarians), and every food item we ordered was delicious. Perfect blend of flavors and taste. The corn bread is more like a corn cake but it was baked fresh and came steaming and was mouth watering. The cocktail was amazing and the Bordeaux style Cab from Sonoma was very nice. “My daughter took me and the hubby here for our Thanksgiving celebration since she couldn't come home (Sac) for actual Thanksgiving, we went to her. This was a night I won't soon forget! Having a nice meal with our daughter was a treat, the service was amazing and the food....OMG! Every bite of every dish I tasted was so so delicious! They have such creative menu of cocktails and update the menu every 6 months. Super busy on Friday and weekend nights but bartenders make sure you’re taken care of. Just need a little time for them to get to you. Fun vibe and just so good drinks. Outdoor seating is pretty nice.“
