“It was cold out, the wind was coming off the bay and it was a damp wind, the kind that goes all the way down to your bones and make you think of having pot roast or a hearty stew for lunch....But no....she wants a salad....a salad, I said! A damn salad! Take this exit, she pouts out...we'll go to MoBowl and get a salad, they're the best in the area! You'll like it she said.
So when it's cold out, and you have your heart set on pot roast, and she says...it's salad! It's gotta be MoBowl.

“An absolute SF classic that lives up to the hype! The English cut prime rib was perfectly aged, tender, and juicy, spun tableside from the silver dome cart—pure theater. Loved the Yorkshire pudding, creamed spinach, and that massive baked potato. Cocktails are strong and old-school. The retro vibe with white tablecloths feels like stepping back in time. Reservations essential, but it's worth it for a special occasion meat-lover's feast.“

“It is miles away from the hustle & bustle of the city, so when we reached, we almost turned around and drove away as we wanted a nice place for our anniversary. However, it looked a nice cute place, so decided to take a chance. They seated us in the back room which was cozier. The corn bread is more like a corn cake but it was baked fresh and came steaming and was mouth watering. The cocktail was amazing and the Bordeaux style Cab from Sonoma was very nice. “the older lady is extremely rude. we were looking at the menu and told her we needed more time to order. and as she was walking away she said “oh my god. what are you reading? a bible?”. shes rude every time we come in, no manners and always slamming stuff on the table. dont get a job in customer service if you have an attitude 24/7.

“Such a great spot! Went for our anniversary and it was an incredible experience. Our favorite dishes were probably the sweet corn and ham flan with caviar, and the rockfish taco especially with the habanero sauce. Beautiful presentation and service. So many unique flavors and combinations.“

“The usual wait time is 20-30mins always but if you go solo or as a group of 2 then wait time is ~10mins. I got the classic I think it was a solid choice but the lamb one because of the broth was so much better.

They have such creative menu of cocktails and update the menu every 6 months. Super busy on Friday and weekend nights but bartenders make sure you’re taken care of. Just need a little time for them to get to you. Fun vibe and just so good drinks. Outdoor seating is pretty nice.“

“It had been at least a decade if not longer since I last visited Zuni Cafe and it felt just as it did all those years ago in the best way possible! Lovely ambience as always and great service.
