“I was staying across the street at an awful motel and the food here made me feel better about it. Went here twice during my short trip. We have Thai food back home but not like this! Service is kind, food is fast. Prices are reasonable. Next time in Hollywood I will be back.“

“Pailin Thai Cuisine was the first place we had dinner when we arrived in LA in August 2024. It is some of the best Thai food we have ever had. The dishes are kept simple (as they should be) and at the same time the flavor combination is fantastic. Only five stars and a huge recommendation from here. In addition, the price is more than fair - it is the cheapest (but the best) meal we have had so far on our tour of California.“

“Sooooo good!!! I had my reservations as I love Thai food and it’s hard to find Thai food as good as what you have in Thailand, but this place is it!! I don’t know where to start because everything was so good!! We had the pork jerky, prad ka prow with chicken & egg, phat see ew flat noodle, fried tofu, and the noodle soup- with egg noodle. The broth was delicious, the flavors very layered without being overwhelming, the ambience is very welcoming. As a family, we definitely would come back again. Next time, I’ll try the curry ❤️😌“

“Food was good. The chicken wings were crispy and fresh. Noodles and broth tasted very well and good seasoned. The staff were all amazing and accommodating. My grandmother was not feeling well, and one of the staff gave her medicine making her feel better. Overall 10/10; have to go for authentic Thai food.“

“Great authentic Thai food. We were so impressed to have the chef and owner (KATT) greet us and explain the menu choices. Definitely order the green curry dumplings and spicey wings. They were so tasty. We will definitely return when we are in the area.“

“Just landed in LA from Seattle and found this place as we were searching for a spot to grab food. The atmosphere is great. They use tablets with great photos of all the food. On the tablets you’re able to order all your food and send it directly to the kitchen to be prepared. The food came out quickly and HOT! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. Be ready for great service and even better food!“

“Bro.. just moved to the area early this year, my partner and I decided to find a lunch spot close by. Looked at reviews and decided to give this spot a try. WHAT?! Hidden gem!! The service- server was super friendly, helpful, and super quick!, Thai tea slapped! (Must get), zap wings - I do think need a sauce so we are taking home to create our own, fried chicken (GET THIS! Moist, but crunchy and soooo yummy, papaya salad(my partner said in her 33 years on earth this is the #2 all time best papaya salad she’s ever had(#1 is her moms), mango sticky rice was perfect- will be coming back for JUST this sometimes 😂
Oh yea I got yellow chicken curry to go so I’ll report later how that is 😂

It’s very small only 4 tables inside, so it was perfect daytime lunch date spot. Shit my partner and I were talking about which coworkers we were bringing here next 😂
Super clean inside. Seems like a lot of afternoon parking in the lot it’s in, not sure about night.

“Yes, the awards are justified!!! This is an absolute gem but be prepared: your mouth will burn. Cute little place, tight seating with some chairs, often times stools only – but cute. The menu is not excessively long (and great: nothing can be changed bc it should not be changed). The staff guided us through with welcome recommendations. 1 ½ items per person appears to be enough even though they suggest 2 items per person.
The food was a (hot) dream: beautifully presented, phantastic breadth, combinations and variations of flavors, perfectly sync’ed with various textures. Only the lobster was dissatisfying to dissect without appropriate tools.
It would be nice if there was a sweet bouquet possible at the end, but there is room for evolution. Will come back even without that ...

“My husband and I just had pineapple fried rice, pad thai, red curry salmon, and papaya salad. EVERYTHING was top notch and better than any other Thai restaurant we have ever been to, including Original Thai BBQ, which was our go to restaurant for almost 50 years!! Truly, a hidden gem!!“

Khao Soi and Boat Noodle are specialty dishes and not always on the menu in your local Thai restaurant but this place has the best I've tasted. “Absolutely delicious! The crab fried rice had a generous portion of real snow crab. I added shrimp to mine for an extra charge.
The Wings of Angel were exceptional. The batter nice and crispy and they came out HOT.
The pickled cucumbers are nice and slightly crunchy with a flavor similar to cole slaw (minus the mayo).“

“I've been coming to Pan Tang for close to 30 years. The food is consistently fabulous, with the Thai iced tea, chicken satay (with amazing peanut sauce) and the shrimp pineapple fried rice being my favorites. The family that has owned this place is so kind and wonderful. Best Thai good in town. Even used it for my wedding rehearsal.“

“Everything was great especially the food. I often order pad see ew at the places I go. It was exceptionally good. The chicken meat was excellent and I will order it that way again. Today on my second visit I’m trying the special curry with the chicken. It smells great and I’m ready to dive in. Thai tea is also good. Not overly sweet and no bite. “I was just passing by on my way to a work meeting and was craving Yellow curry.Let me just say that the rice was fresh and fluffy, pairing just perfectly with the yellow curry and chicken. “This is definitely my new favorite tai restaurant. I’ve been eating different places for a long time and thought my favorite was in the valley. Randomly decided to stop here and I am NEVER disappointed! Plus the lady pat is so nice and attentive , 6 “
