“Napa Valley’s new hidden gem is Robert’s Tropical Table located in a converted breezeway/parking lot adjacent to the Mount View Hotel right here in Calistoga. Robert has been known for a decade as one of the handful of magical mixologists in our Valley having a long bar run at Sol Bar (until they closed for remodel and Covid) and then Brasswood before launching his rendition of a Jamaican Beach Cafe. His Ocho Rios roots come alive with a delicious selection of jerk chicken, pork belly, and wings with an escovitch fish perhaps better than mine. And never to be missed are the festival dumplings and a perfect Dark and Stormy. Open DAILY when the music is playing and gates are ajar (3pm to 10pm).“

“Wow this was such an amazing vineyard! We did the hilltop experience and upgraded our tasting to the Library Tasting and the Cab Sav tasting. Was fun to do something different and share both experiences. The gondola's were fun! Very clean and easy to use and a great addition to see Napa Valley. The team were all lovely, very friendly and welcoming and helpful. But I would add that they gave us the right amount of space to spend time chatting about the wines on our own. Loved the gift shop - great additions to the wine purchases. Highly recommend this as a stop whilst in Napa Valley!“

“Our wine tasting with Ezra was as educational as it was enjoyable. Though he brought up treating us like family every time we came back, he treated us like family from the moment we arrived. “Wonderful ice cream. I don't eat dairy and was thrilled they had a lemon sorbet and vegan chocolate ice cream. The sorbet had intense lemon flavor and the chocolate wonderful too. We jokingly thought we should make future day trips up for ice cream“

“Fantastic wine experience! Our host Tony was knowledgeable and did a great job providing us with background and walking us through each varietal. The number of varietals available for tasting made this experience a great value and the quality of each wine were phenomenal! Our favorites included the Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, and several of the Cabernet Sauvignon. We enjoyed sitting in the shade on the deck overlooking the winery. “This was my husband & I'd first stop upon arriving in Napa Valley and we couldn't have had a better time! Christian, the manager, greeted us and was so welcoming our entire stay. We sat outside on the back patio and did the Portfolio tasting which was excellent. The Viognier and the Cab were particularly good! I'll the grapes are local to Calistoga, and it's owner founded & run which I always love supporting. I would highly recommend you pop by, as reservations aren't needed!“

“Amazing tasting experience with Matt (owner). Our group came near closing and Matt was patient and showed his true passion for wine throughout the tasting. He wasn’t pushy to get us out the door. We had great conversation learning about the history of the company and wine making process. The wine was outstanding and our group purchased a few bottles. “Went on a Monday afternoon to meet a friend while visiting the area. The outdoor seating is gorgeous with plenty of space, and we basically had the entire area to ourselves. The server for the wine tasting experience was great! He was very informative about all the different wines we had the pleasure of trying, and even gave us a bonus taste of a more aged wine. The price was average for a wine tasting experience, so overall it was a great time. Would definitely go again given the chance!“

OG green Chile kitchen girl here. I lived off Laguna and Grove and frequently went to GCK bc I am from El Paso, Tx. You can’t find New Mexican food anywhere in NorCal so when I found out you opened this I was so excited, especially bc I now live in Santa Rosa. I was so excited. Had the green chile stew. As good as I remembered it! Loved the enchiladas. It was great! Will you ever bring back the stuffed green chile and Sopaipillas? You can’t find a real sopaipillas w honey anywhere in NorCal. Please do! Thank you so much!! Service was fantastic too :) we dined in and I took no pictures bc I just wanted to eat 😋“

“We just came for drinks and were seated on the patio at our request. The service was fine, as were the drinks (though pricey), but we were constantly pestered by flies. I think fans (or maybe fly traps) could have helped with the flies, and kept it cooler, as the air didn't seem to be circulating very well on the patio

“This place was AMAZING! While visiting Napa Valley did the whole wine tasting experience, and was not disappointed. This was some of the tastiest wine I've ever had. Especially the pinot noir. Our server for wine tasting was exceptional. Moreover, the grounds are spectacular. There is a full chapel and tasting room and castle that make you feel like you are really in Tuscany. The grounds have animals including goats and emus. The beauty of this place is breathtaking. I will be dreaming about it.“
